Stories Not to Take to the Grave ~ Soul Alchemy with Plant Allies

Michelle Rosetta

This podcast is inspired by the rich sharing of traditional wisdom and know how through story telling. My name is Michelle Rosetta, and I believe the remedy our communities deeply require for health and well-being is rooted in our own raw and unedited tales. Some of what we fear to speak or that which is seemingly mundane to us, is exactly what those around us may need to hear in the way we speak our narrative. I am a mother of four, an entrepreneur and a clinical herbalist. Plant medicine being one of the modalities I work with to assist my community. I have the tendency to make questionable choices, jump off things I shouldn’t, along with the uncanny ability to turn it around to land on my feet. It is not only in victory that deep healing lies but also in our mishaps and trials. Independently and with guests we will cover topics to support sovereign journeys to our best versions of wellness. I am not a doctor, and clinical herbalists are not licensed in Canada, anything discussed pertaining to plants, protocols, and health in general are for educational purposes only. Every…body is different. What works for one may not be the answer for another. It is your responsibility and duty to decide whether a course of action recommended to you, no matter it be by your family doctor or natural practitioner, is right for you. During this podcast we will grow our personal discernment abilities and learn to take off the layers covering the self that lies within, so we may listen in a more profound way. We are not perfect but on the verge of unearthing our greatest potentialities, and all it may take is a few words spoken with connection and authenticity to take our first step on the path to transform into a more truthful version of self.

What's the Download on Divine Timing, Mugwort and Mushrooms!!?

In this episode Kolby Romard, the founder of Love Reflected, and I get together for a more informal observation about what’s going down in our current month. Kolby creates a clothing brand built to inspire confidence, self-worth, and connection through the message of self-love. We discuss themes such as divine timing that appears to be a present pertinent lesson. Divine timing is not always perfectly planted roses and what we hope for. However, it is a very important guide in our growth and to our path of greatest potential, along with protecting us from ourselves when necessary. I discuss what I learn from Mugwort and how this grandmother put me in my place, for my benefit and those around me. I also talk about a recent fungi experience and potentially my unskillful choice that led to an important lesson about allowing oneself to be misunderstood. Kolby shares entrepreneurial tips about getting out of your head. She discusses the importance of people disliking us, and how this strengthens our team; those seen and unseen in our human experience. Kolby also touches on ways can we stay sane and grounded while participating in life and exploring the realm of Spirit. She also touches on ways can we stay sane and grounded while participating in life and exploring the realm of Spirit. Along with why Kolby was struck by Allan Watts and taking notes listening to Gary Vee! It is also very interesting to me that my idea of self and how I perceive the world has already shifted greatly from this recording. I feel we are in a time of immense growth and inner standing. With this said, there is no need to change up parts of such content as it is a rolling narrative and such is the point of this podcast – to dig through the layers, get dirty and talk about it along the way. Accused of Witchcraft in my Underwear (Authorities Called...like What!?)

In this titillating true story, I give an account of the comical time I was accused of witchcraft, and the realizations it gave me about the lingering tainted view of the divine feminine in the collective conscious. I share my current existential challenge, and I ponder if these differing ideals of the world can co-exist at all, or is the forced removal required of one narrative so as to ensure the survival of the other. Could we also be working on an entirely novel world narrative? I discuss the plant allies that came out of my destroyed herbal garden, to ultimately have my back and what I learned. I also incorrectly stated that I introduced the characters of the ‘downstairs neighbours,’ in Episode 3 but it was in fact in Episode 2. It's Alright to Be the Villain | Stay Grounded on the Path

This episode is just in time for the autumn season, as we have an unseen host on the episode who refuses to be removed! Nonetheless, Vanessa from Arcanum Iter and I march forth together to observe the mystery and walk behind the veil. Vanessa shares her top three tips for staying grounded and glowing while on the path from her wise woman story. Her journey to uncover the mystery began from a feeling of something beyond the veil beckoning her to know more. I am still due to my own bloodline trauma and the residue left in the collective conscious, fearful to discuss some of the topics we bring up. I have a very real terror left in the back of my mind that I may be burned or silenced; do not speak about such things, do not stand out, do not let people see you, and so on and so forth. We discuss the necessity of allowing yourself to be the villain in someone else’s narrative, as it may be a prerequisite to your most aligned path. We acknowledge the courage and belief in self this often requires. Vanessa offers strategies that may be applied to our day to live a more true, grounded and full life, that will never leave you lonely or wanting. I talk about some of my wolfy issues and Venessa offers us a short reading. The power to change the future lies within. 4. Lost Power of the Word & Unearthing Motherwort for When You Need a Hug

Lost Power of the Word & Unearthing Motherwort for When You Need a Hug

In the Intro to this episode, we discuss what happens in the organic telling and receiving of a story. I talk about the transference of information at a cellular level, and the mass initiation humanity is currently in. I also touch on how our services and products in the world may only be a part of the whole in our soul mission; that when we feel the 'calling' to do a particular act it does not mean that we show up in our whole ability. It will still take time, practice, and faith to follow the path laid out. I discuss why it is important for our subtle body to have the space to connect with narrative and why words hold power to open worlds. I also, through my latest personal challenge of what I call the 'spiral,' talk about plant supports for anxiety, emotional balance, and assistance along our personal road. I also take some space to observe how the unearthing of the lost medicine of storytelling is indelibility connected to the powerful plant ally Motherwort. 5. The Neighbours from Heel & Plants for our Emergency Kits

    09/25/2025

The Neighbours from Heel & Plants for our Emergency Kits

In this episode I begin to practice my story telling abilities with an embarrassing learning experience. A problem for me is that I feel a need to filter what comes out of my mouth and for a good story moving past this may be necessary. This tale would be so much better with all the parts, nonetheless I still touch on the points I want to make. I’m not sure how successful I was in describing the theme of how our spirit, mind and body each has a representation of a specific thought or energy in our daily events, but that is what I wanted to do. One happening has three versions of its manifestation. When I hurt my sole, I really did hurt my soul. I will talk about the opportunity to learn in what appear to be awful situations. I also discuss the responsibility we have for our environment and to own what we may be accountable for, even when we initially feel like a victim. I observe how important it is to go through the healing process and not take short cuts, if we are going to learn and truly shift for good through our trials. I will discuss some of the clues that plants offer us to know how they work in the body, without having a book in front of you. I also bring up specific herbs that I used to help heal my heel, and they are not the hero herbs that you may think. It reminds me of how we take for granted what is often already in the cupboard. I’m happy to report since this recording the situation has been resolved and our neighbours from heel have moved on. 6. The Forgotten Placenta with Adrian, Anna and Aria (Really, they ran back for it!)

The Forgotten Placenta with Adrian, Anna and Aria (Really, they ran back for it!)

I recorded this episode in 2024 with Adrian Neagu, Anna Cyzon-Neagu and their then two-week-old daughter Aria born on the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. I have so much gratitude that Adrian and Anna entrusted me with such an intimate time. We talk about the chaos and blessing of their unexpected pregnancy. How it not only tested them as individuals but strengthened the bond they share and their own personal discernment in life. They felt being in the entertainment world prepared them fully to take the birthing stage. Anna discusses the unnecessary fear-based opinions that were shared with her as an expecting mother, and how this experience has given her an inner standing of allowing yourself to grow and move into alignment, rather than stubbornly fighting for the story you think you want. We also discuss the many versions of who we are, and the internal monsters that we are learning to grow through. She shares some humorous Polish wisdom and what it looks like to keep her online commitments while leaking and breast feeding, two things of which she did not see herself doing. What is for you will find you! Adrian offers important ‘how to’s’ on advocating for self and baby when birthing in a hospital setting, along with what happened when forgetting the placenta in the communal freezer. Together they remind us of when we are in a place of allowing, this life script often has much more to offer than what we are able to conceive of. Nonetheless, we must know we are the directors of this story, and it is up to us to feel for what is right for our individual selves, along with the ability to stand in that power.
