    14. Walking Each Other to Heaven: The Beauty of a Marriage Rooted in Christ With Silvana and Wayne Johnson

In this powerful and deeply moving episode, I share an amazing conversation with Silvana and Wayne Johnson, husband and wife, founders of Live Your Faith Catholic, and sweet Catholic couple living out the beauty of a Christ-centered marriage. Silvana shares her profound reversion to the Catholic faith after years away from the Church, a journey that ultimately led Wayne—who was raised Methodist—to enter the Catholic Church himself. Together, they chose chastity, RCIA, and a sacramental Catholic marriage rooted fully in Christ. Their story is a beautiful testimony to surrender, prayer, and trusting God with everything. From daily prayer routines and fasting for one another, to navigating marriage with respect, communication, and grace, Silvana and Wayne offer practical wisdom for Catholic couples who desire to walk each other to heaven. They also share the inspiration behind their faith-based business, Live Your Faith Catholic, where they create hand-poured prayer candles, devotional jewelry, and sacramentals designed to support prayer, peace, and beauty in everyday life. This episode is rich with encouragement for: Couples discerning or living Catholic marriageAnyone longing for deeper unity through prayerThose seeking beauty, intention, and faith in daily lifeA conversation full of hope, light, and the reminder that a life lived with God at the center truly is whole and holy! ✨ Learn more about Silvana & Wayne and their beautiful products at liveyourfaithcatholic.com Connect with Silvana and Wayne on Instagram @liveyourfaithcatholic Connect with Carrie on Instagram @livingwholeandholy If you are interested in being a guest on The Living Whole and Holy Podcast, contact Carrie at livingwholeandholy@gmail.com

    13. How Finding a Rosary On a Hike Led to Renewed Faith, Healing, and Catholic Community with Kathleen DuBois

In this episode I am thrilled to be joined by Kathleen DuBois — seasoned business leader, host of The Resilience & Grit Podcast, and a woman of fierce faith whose life was quietly and powerfully transformed by an unexpected encounter with the Blessed Mother. Kathleen shares the extraordinary story of finding a rosary on a hike during a moment of deep longing for Catholic community — a moment that set off a ripple effect only God could orchestrate, and truly an answered prayer. What followed was the creation of a parish hiking ministry, new spiritual friendships and the Catholic community she was praying for, a deeper devotion to the rosary, a return to confession, a renewed reverence for the Eucharist, and a profound love for adoration. This conversation explores: How God answers prayers in deeply personal waysMarian devotion and the power of the rosaryBuilding authentic Catholic community as an adultHow to have authentic conversations with GodSuffering, surrender, and trust after unexpected injuryReturning to the sacraments with fresh reverenceAdoration as an intimate encounter with JesusThe saints as real companions on the journey to holiness Kathleen’s story is a beautiful reminder that faith is not static — it is an adventure, with highs and lows, but with God always be our side. God meets us where we are, uses our gifts, redeems our wounds, and gently leads us deeper into relationship with Him through His Church. This conversation is for anyone longing for deeper faith, authentic community, or reassurance that God is still moving — even in the quiet, hidden ways. 12. Choosing Holiness When the World Encourages the Opposite With Jolene Hardege: A Young Woman's Journey Back to the Catholic Faith

In this powerful and moving episode I sit down with my dear friend and spiritual daughter, Jolene Hardege, for a raw and grace-filled conversation about faith, healing, and total surrender to God. Jolene shares her journey as a Catholic revert—growing up culturally Catholic, walking away from the faith, and searching for meaning through New Age spirituality, only to discover that everything she was longing for was found in Jesus Christ and the fullness of the Catholic Church. Jolene opens up about her experience with depression, identity, and spiritual confusion, and how God patiently pursued her through Scripture, friendship, prayer, the sacraments, and powerful encounters with His love. From her first confession in seven years, to encountering Jesus in the Eucharist, to experiencing the gentle but undeniable intercession of Our Lady through the rosary and the Miraculous Medal, this episode is a testimony to God’s mercy, healing, and perfect timing. Together, we reflect on what it truly means to live whole and holy in a world that tells us to rely on ourselves. We discuss obedience, death to self, Marian devotion, the power of prayer, and how saying “yes” to God—even when it costs us everything—leads to freedom, peace, and abundant life. This episode is especially for reverts, converts, seekers, and anyone longing to come home to the heart of the Father. 11. Growing Closer to Jesus Through Mother Mary in 2026

As we begin a new year and continue in the light of Epiphany, this episode is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and listen for where God is leading you in 2026. Rather than choosing a single “word for the year,” I share how the Lord gently invited me to focus on faithfully living the faith by growing in virtue — particularly through imitating the virtues of our Blessed Mother Mary. As a newer Catholic, I reflect on my journey deeper into the Church these past 2 year, my growing love for reverence and tradition, and how God has been shaping this season into a Marian year. In this episode, we reflect on: ✨ What it means to grow closer to Jesus through Mary ✨ Why Marian devotion always leads us more deeply to Christ ✨ The 10 Marian virtues described by St. Louis de Montfort ✨ Choosing virtues for the year to support and guide our goals ✨ The beauty and power of the Rosary ✨ Practical ways to invite Mary into your prayer life in the year ahead This episode includes a beautiful prayer from the Sisters of Life, Magnificat With Mary, time for reflection, and gentle encouragement to discern which Marian virtues the Lord may be inviting you to grow in this year. Whether you are a convert, a cradle Catholic, or simply curious about Marian devotion, my prayer is that this episode helps you feel supported, encouraged, and reminded that you are not behind — you are exactly where God wants to meet you.T May 2026 be a year of deeper trust, quiet listening, and growing closer to Jesus through the heart of His Mother. 10. An End-of-Year Catholic Prayer Ritual for Reflection and Renewal

As we come to the close of one year and prepare to step into the next, I invite you in this episode to slow down, pause, and reflect with God. Rather than rushing into resolutions or goals, we begin with prayer — allowing the Lord to gently guide us through gratitude, healing, surrender, and hope. This is a sacred space to look back on the year with honesty and grace, and to welcome the year ahead with faith, trust, and Christ at the center. In this episode, we reflect on: ✨ Slowing down and resting in God’s presence ✨ Noticing where God has been faithful throughout the year ✨ Spiritual growth, holy habits, and areas of struggle of the year ✨ Vocation, daily work, and living God’s call in ordinary life ✨ Places God is calling us to forgiveness, renewal of mind, and freedom of heart ✨ The gift of community and the companionship and of the saints ✨ Welcoming the new year with intention, surrender, and trust This episode is inspired by a Holy Spirit nudge I had in Adoration to create an end-of-year Catholic prayer and reflection ritual journal, inspired by my recent trip to Assisi. It is an invitation to go deeper to reflect with Jesus at your own pace — without pressure, perfection, or rushing. If you feel drawn to continue this reflection more deeply, the full prayer journal is linked in the show notes and is free.  You can use it on New Year’s Eve, sometime in January, or whenever the Lord invites you back to Him. May this time of prayer help you let go of the year with grace, and welcome the year ahead with faith — trusting that Jesus is not just part of the plan, but our ultimate destination. Jesus, I trust in you. Have a Happy and Holy 2026! Links & Resources: Free End-of-Year Catholic Prayer and Reflection Ritual JournalConnect with me on Instagram: @livingwholeandholy

    9. Unconditional Hope: Why It Matters in Your Walk With Jesus

As Advent draws to a close and we approach the quiet days between Christmas and the New Year, this episode invites you into a deeper season of reflection. In today’s conversation, Carrie shares insights inspired by a recent homily from Fr. Mike on unconditional hope. She discusses what unconditional hope is, why it’s uniquely Christian, and how it transforms the way we wait, pray, and set goals with God. So often, our hope becomes tied to outcomes: I’ll be happy when this happens… I’ll feel fulfilled once I reach that goal. But Christian hope is different. It’s not dependent on results—it’s relational. It’s rooted in trusting God Himself, not just what He might give us. In this episode, Carrie explores: What unconditional hope really means in the Christian lifeWhy waiting well is not giving up or settling for lessHow goal-setting with God differs from outcome-driven strivingThe difference between waiting in anxiety versus waiting in hopeWhy God is more interested in who you’re becoming than what you’re achievingHow to reflect on unanswered prayers without losing trustPreparing your heart to move into 2026 grounded in hope, not fearCarrie also encourages you to prayerfully examine your relationship with hope during these final days of the year—especially if you’ve been discouraged, disappointed, or tired of waiting. Whether your “hope muscle” feels strong or weak, this episode is a reminder that you can always begin again. As Christians, we don’t place our hope in circumstances or timelines—we place it in a Person, Jesus Christ. He is the one who ultimately satisfies and quenches our thirst. 🎄 Merry Christmas, and may God bless you as you enter the 2026 with renewed, unconditional hope.
