    Ep 16 - Contend with the Word God Gave You

(either for the year or otherwise) The purpose of the Word of God to us personally can be to Inform InstructDirectEquipPrepareEncourageComfortand more!When God gives you a word, initially you will receive the instruction or comfort it entails, and sometimes that is the whole purpose, but other times—and more often than not, that word is a tool or a weapon God has given you for what is to come. So when things happen (or sometimes it is that things AREN’T HAPPENING), you go back to that word, and you repeat it, rehearse it, and BELIEVE IT! You CONTEND WITH IT for the outcome God promised, and you desire!One of my favorite verses is in Acts 27:25 NLT So take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as he saidSo what has God said to you?
