  1. It’s Already In The House

    It’s Already In The House

In this message, It’s Already In The House, we look at the powerful story of the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7. She came to the prophet desperate, broken, and facing a situation that looked final. Her husband was dead, her debt was real, and the creditor had come to take her sons. But Elisha asked her one question: “What hast thou in the house?” The miracle didn’t begin with what she didn’t have. It began with what was already there. Sometimes we’re looking outside the house for what God has already placed within reach. The oil was already in the house. The anointing was already there. The answer began with what seemed small, overlooked, and insignificant. This message is a reminder that God can take what you already have, breathe on it, multiply it, and turn your situation around. There is still oil in the house. There is still power in the Holy Ghost. There is still provision, breakthrough, and restoration when we make room for God to move. If you’re empty, desperate, and ready for God to fill you again, this word is for you. 2 Kings 4:2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? 2. Little Foxes, Little Fires, Little Leaven

Little Foxes, Little Fires, Little Leaven

Small things can have large consequences when they are left unchecked. In this Bible study, we look at the warning found in Scripture about little foxes that spoil the vines, little fires that can spread through careless words, and little leaven that can affect the whole lump. From Song of Solomon 2:15, James 3:5-6, and Galatians 5:9, we are reminded that not every danger looks obvious at first. An offence left alone can become bitterness. A careless word can sow discord. A small compromise can begin to weaken conviction. But through the Word of God, prayer, and a renewed mind, we can learn to guard the vineyard of our heart. This study also looks at the importance of protecting what God is growing in us, keeping a hedge around our spiritual life, and refusing to give place to the devil. Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. We pray this message encourages you to deal with the little things while they are still little, and to keep your heart sensitive before God. 3. The Jezebel Spirit

    Jun 14

    The Jezebel Spirit

The greatest danger isn’t simply that corrupt influence exists. It’s when that influence is recognised but allowed to remain unchecked. In Revelation 2, Jesus rebuked the church at Thyatira because they had allowed a corrupt spiritual influence to continue teaching, seducing, and leading His servants away from obedience. In this message, Pastor Brian looks at the biblical account of Jezebel and examines how this influence gains access, changes what people consider normal, resists correction, uses intimidation, manipulates authority, and hides behind false spiritual claims. Jezebel brought the influence into Israel, but Ahab opened the door. What began in his home eventually affected his worship, his leadership, and the direction of an entire nation. This message challenges us to examine the voices, relationships, teaching, entertainment, attitudes, and desires we’ve allowed to shape our thinking. Not every voice deserves influence in our lives, and not everything that sounds spiritual comes from God. The answer isn’t suspicion, hatred, or harshness. It’s discernment, repentance, submission to the Word of God, and obedience to the Holy Ghost. We must guard the door, test every spirit, resist manipulation and intimidation, protect the apostolic inheritance, and hold fast to truth and holiness until Jesus comes. “Hold fast till I come.” Follow Northern Rivers Pentecostal Church: YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@NorthernRiversPentecosta-st7qi Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/NorthernRiversPentecostals Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/_nrpc_/ #TheJezebelSpirit #Jezebel #UncheckedInfluence #SpiritualInfluence #BiblicalDiscernment #FalseTeaching #GuardTheDoor #HoldFast #ApostolicDoctrine #Holiness #JesusName #oneness #apostolic #nrpc #pentecostal #pentecostalchurch

  4. STRENGTH FOR THE WEARY

    Jun 7

    STRENGTH FOR THE WEARY

Isaiah 40:31 gives us one of the most familiar promises in Scripture: “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” But this promise isn't just about soaring like an eagle. It's about learning to depend on the God who never grows weary. In this message, we look at the full context of Isaiah 40 and see that before God promises renewed strength, He reminds us who He is. He is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth, and the One who fainteth not, neither is weary. When our strength runs out, His strength doesn't. When we feel faint, weary, burdened, or spiritually exhausted, God calls us to wait upon Him. Waiting on the Lord isn't giving up. It isn't doing nothing. It's trusting His timing, depending on His strength, staying faithful while He works, and expecting Him to keep His promises. This sermon is a reminder that we don't have to live on our own strength. Through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost, God gives strength to the faint, lifts us above the storm, helps us keep running, and gives us grace to keep walking without fainting. If you're weary, heavy laden, or running on empty, this message will encourage you to come back to the source of true strength. 5. LAYING THE AXE TO THE ROOT

    May 31

LAYING THE AXE TO THE ROOT

What if the problem isn't the branches, but the root? In this powerful message from Matthew 3:1-12, we examine the ministry of John the Baptist and his urgent call to repentance. As Israel stood on the threshold of the Messiah's arrival, John declared that the axe was already laid to the root of the trees. His message wasn't about surface-level religion or outward appearances. It was about genuine repentance that reaches the heart. Too often we try to manage symptoms while ignoring the source. We trim the branches, mow the lawn, and make outward adjustments, yet the root remains untouched. John reminds us that God isn't looking for religious activity, pedigree, or tradition. He's looking for fruit that comes from a truly transformed life. This message explores:• Why God sends preaching before every major move of God• The difference between repentance and behavior modification• Why religious heritage cannot replace personal obedience• How our desires become the root of our actions• The danger of focusing on the branches while ignoring the root• Why lasting victory over sin requires a deeper love for God• The promise of the Holy Ghost for those who truly repent If we're ever going to experience real spiritual growth, the axe must be laid to the root. Repentance isn't pruning. It's allowing God to deal with the source so that new life can grow.
