    18. Raw Dogging Life & Money Capacity

    The most common money advice sounds responsible, but it can quietly train you to live in scarcity: cut the latte, stop buying clothes, restrict harder, repeat. We go after the deeper truth that usually gets skipped: spending is often a search for a feeling, and budgeting without emotional awareness can turn into a shame cycle that costs you more in the long run. I break down three separate skills that change everything in your personal finance psychology: saving money, spending money, and having money. “Having” is the one most of us were never taught. We talk about money capacity, why extra cash can feel like it’s “burning a hole in your pocket,” and how your first impulses reveal your values. I also share a simple but confronting exercise: imagine winning $100 million and notice what you’d do immediately. The point isn’t judgment, it’s clarity. Then we take it further with “raw dogging life,” my phrase for reducing the substances and distractions we use to avoid discomfort. When you stop numbing, you can finally hear your intuition and meet the real need underneath the impulse, whether that impulse looks like overspending, overeating, overdrinking, doom scrolling, or overworking.     17. Ever been FUN FUMBLED?

    How much joy are you actually willing to let yourself feel, and what does it reveal when you do? Fun can look frivolous from the outside, but it’s one of the fastest ways to find the truth.  After two trips to Miami in 90 days, I couldn’t ignore what that city brought out of me: more pleasure, more presence, more confidence, and a deeper sense of worthiness that had nothing to do with “earning” it. Miami becomes my backdrop for a bigger question: how much joy are you actually willing to let yourself feel, and what does it reveal when you do? We get into fun intolerance and pleasure intolerance, and why some people can be in a gorgeous place and still spiral into complaint, boredom, or discontent. I share how magnetism shows up in the smallest moments, like waiting in a line, getting delayed, or dealing with pain while still choosing to stay connected to beauty. This isn’t about pretending life is perfect. It’s about discernment, nervous system regulation, and building the capacity to hold pleasure without immediately collapsing back into negativity. Then we go to the ugly part: fun raises your standards. When you finally taste freedom, it becomes impossible to unsee what’s misaligned, including draining jobs, lopsided responsibilities, or friendships that “fun fumble” you by puncturing your joy. I also talk about being multi-dimensional without performing an identity, plus my current hyper-fixation on Bad Bunny and why his music feels like celebration, safety, and medicine when the world feels on fire.
