Sad but kinda funny

Brittney Tribble

Sad But Kinda Funny started as an unfiltered, slightly chaotic, and oddly comforting podcast where two longtime friends, Brittney and Jennifer, reunited after years apart to talk about life, depression, leaving corporate, and the messy moments in between. It was real talk with zero pretension, equal parts vulnerable and hilarious, where even the bad days could still land a good punchline. As life tends to do, things evolve. Jennifer has stepped back from the podcast to focus on a few things currently filling her plate, and Brittney will continue the journey forward. The heart of the podcast isn’t changing, it’s still honest, real, and sometimes a little sarcastic, but the format will shift. Moving forward, Sad But Kinda Funny will feature rotating co-hosts for a few episodes at a time, along with guests from all walks of life and different stages of their journeys. Some conversations will be light, some a little deeper, and most will land somewhere in the middle because life rarely stays in just one lane. From awkward adulthood moments to the heavier stuff we don’t usually say out loud, Sad But Kinda Funny is still a space where honesty wins, laughter sneaks in when you least expect it, and even the sad parts might come with a sarcastic snort.

When Your Inner Voice Turns Vicious | Sad But Kinda Funny Podcast

Send a text This week on Sad But Kinda Funny, we’re getting brutally honest… again. We talk about how sometimes we’re all a little bit of an a*****e, as kids, teens, adults, and even now. Not intentionally. Not maliciously. Just… human. And how looking back at those moments helps us understand who we are today. Then we get into the inner voice, that loud, bossy, mean one that tries to tell you who you are and who you can’t be. The one that loves to sabotage you at the worst possible moments. We talk about learning to beat it, outsmart it, and shut it up long enough to breathe. And yeah… we go there. Depression. The way it sneaks up on you. The way it drains you. The way it makes the smallest things feel impossible. And the way we keep fighting through it anyway: clumsily, imperfectly, and sometimes sarcastically, because humor is how we survive. If you’ve ever been hard on yourself, battled your own brain, or felt like life was kicking your ass for sport… this episode is for you. Raw. Honest. Emotional. And still somehow… kinda funny. #SadButKindaFunny #MentalHealthPodcast #RealTalkPodcast #RawConversations #DepressionTalk #InnerVoice #HealingJourney #WomenWhoPodcast #HonestPodcast #LifeAfterCorporate #RelatablePodcast #EmotionalWellness #NeurospicyLife #PodcastCommunity #PodcastForWomen #MentalHealthMatters #RealLifeTalk #FriendshipPodcast #SadButFunny #CreatorsLife #WomenSupportingWomen #AnxietySupport #TraumaHealingJourney #TherapyTalk #PodcastListeners #UnfilteredPodcast Support the show
