    Hello friends, Episode five was recorded two days ago on Brigid’s Feast Day, which is also Imbolc in the northern hemisphere. Coral has a deep connection with Brigid - who is honestly one of the most accessible, nurturing, and warm Goddesses you could ever connect to. It was such a beautiful energy to commune with her together and learn more from Coral who has honoured the Feast Day with her family for many years. The Goddess of Poetry is also the Goddess of Mourning. And while they may seem like two very different extremes, both are deep and healing emotional expressions. Brigid’s symbols include fire and water, which we speak to in the conversation, as well as her relationship to weaving and the significance of the pagan cross symbol. Coral, who is a wildhearted artist, speaks directly to the creative spirit within all of us and shares the importance of imperfection and failure along our creative paths.     In this episode, Coral and Kris share their unique and personal stories of White Buffalo Calf Woman. Thousands of years ago, while many Indigenous tribes of North America were suffering, some say they had lost their connection to the earth and each other, they had an experience with this earthly Goddess that helped them cultivate peace, live in abundance, and discover a closer relationship with nature. This story feels pertinent because we’re again at a time where there is so much division between tribes, communities, families, and within individuals. Those on the spiritual path are looking for ways to bridge differences, open hearts, and bring about the new earth with greater reverence for nature and each other. And when we turn to the wisdom of Indigenous elders, listen deeply to nature, ask for the help of the Goddess, and get lovingly curious, we find our way. You’ll hear about Coral’s invitation to experience the kind of sacred ceremony that brought her close to the White Buffalo Woman, and Kris will share how she discovered her Indigenous Canadian roots that brought her to the wisdom and purity of this Goddess. Both Coral and Kris also talk about weaving ritual and ceremony into their lives and how it felt to do so. My friend, sister, and absolute goddess Coral Scarlett and I have been planning this for months and now we’re finally launching our new podcast. We are creating 13 episodes for 13 months/moons and we will cover many goddesses, their hidden stories, and the energy of the month ahead. We are both deeply curious about the many expressions of the Goddess and how to be guided by her each day. This month we begin with Persephone… who was she really? Did she choose the underworld or go by force? What did she learn there? What does she have to teach us? And who was Hades? We also talk about the evolving Divine Feminine and Masculine energies this month and what this might mean personally and globally.
