She Thought She Was a Boy Since Age 4 — Gender Dysphoria, Addiction, and a Felony: And A Path to God | EP 21

On today's episode of Trusted Voice, I sit down with my friend Monet, someone I met about a year ago on an LGBTQ panel and instantly connected with, right down to the joke that we look like the movie Twins. Monet's story is radical. From the age of four or five, she insisted to her mom that she was a boy, demanded to shop in the boys' section, and wanted to swim without her shirt on, and her mom, who didn't know the Lord and didn't want to fight her, let her live in that confusion. I ask Monet to walk me through the difference between gender dysphoria and transgender identity, and she gets brutally honest about just how extreme it became, including a story she'd never told publicly before about avoiding women's restrooms altogether. We get into one of the most gut-wrenching moments of her story: going to the doctor at eighteen or nineteen convinced that testing would finally confirm she was actually male, only to hear the words "you're one hundred percent woman." Instead of healing, that diagnosis sent her spiraling into cocaine, alcohol, sleeping around, and eventually a felony charge that put her on the edge of a prison sentence, all while she cursed God and declared he didn't exist. Monae also opens up about a friend she calls "the bearded lady," a transgender friend who now feels permanently trapped by surgeries and hormones she can't undo, and what that taught both of us about the difference between love and truth. This episode ends right at the edge of Monet's rock bottom, in a courtroom, facing a judge who statistically had every reason to send her to prison. I don't want to spoil where that goes, because you'll want to come back for part two to hear how God met her in that courtroom and completely transformed her life from there. If Monet's story is speaking to you or someone you love, I want you to know your story isn't finished either. Thanks for joining me for this episode of Trusted Voice, and I'll see you next time for part two. Pastor's Daughter Trapped in a Lesbian Relationship — The Word Curse That Almost Destroyed Her Life | EP 20

One of the most powerful testimonies we've ever featured on Elijah Streams. Naomi grew up as a pastor's daughter, the oldest of nine homeschooled children in a home full of love and scripture — yet at just 12 years old, a confusing encounter and a word spoken over her by her own father opened a door the enemy would use for years to come. She walks me through how that door led her, in her twenties, into a years-long same-sex relationship, complete with a shared home, adopted pets, and a life that looked, from the outside, like it was heading toward marriage. What happens next is a real picture of divine reversal. Naomi shares the moment she looked in the mirror and realized her sin was destroying her physically, the agonizing process of leaving a relationship she was financially and emotionally entangled in, and the raw, months-long journey back to Jesus that followed. She opens up about forgiving her father, a battle that proved just as hard as leaving the lifestyle itself, and the vision of the cross that finally broke unforgiveness off her heart. From there, we talk about the ten years of singleness that followed, marrying her husband John, and the miracle births of her two daughters, Esther and Ruth Anna, at ages 40 and 46. We close the conversation with something every parent needs to hear: how to love a family member still caught in a homosexual lifestyle without losing them, and practical, spiritual ways to guard your own children in a culture that starts exposing kids to these issues far earlier than most parents realize. Naomi's story is proof that no one is too far gone and no prayer is wasted. If you or someone you love needs hope today, this episode is for you — and be sure to watch for Naomi's upcoming book, Free Forever, releasing this fall. 4 Things Every Parent Must Teach Kids to Stop Gender Ideology: Warning Signs Parents Should Watch | EP 19

What started as a painful rejection turned into an incredible testimony of God's providence, including an almost unbelievable connection to the exact abortion clinic and doctor involved in her own story through a documentary film crew she now works with. Erin and I dig into her "yes woman" journey, from someone who describes herself as shy and non-confrontational to a bold voice speaking on national platforms, producing films like Art Club, America's Identity Crisis, and contributing to Death of Recess on Angel Studios. She shares four powerful things every parent needs to teach their kids to protect them from gender ideology, why she refuses to send her kids to government schools, and the exact letter she sends every teacher on the first day of school to make her parental boundaries crystal clear. We also talk honestly about warning signs parents should watch for and practical steps to take if a child is already being pulled into this ideology. By the end of our conversation, Erin gets vulnerable about the real cost of standing up publicly, including death threats, home break-ins, losing her career, and painful betrayal from former friends and family. But she also shares how she's learned to recognize spiritual warfare for what it is and keep fighting anyway. This conversation is packed with practical wisdom, real encouragement, and a powerful reminder that your yes matters, no matter how small it feels. Erin's organization is Protect Kids Colorado, and she encourages everyone, no matter where you live, to pay attention to what's happening there because as goes Colorado, so goes the nation. This Mom Took Her Case to the Supreme Court to Save Her Daughter - Erin Lee w/ Protect Kids Colorado | EP18

Aaron shares the gut-wrenching story of how her 12-year-old daughter was invited to what she thought was an after-school art club, only to discover it was actually a gender and sexuality awareness club run by outside activist groups who told her that any discomfort in her body meant she was transgender. What followed was the darkest year of Aaron's family's life: secret online communications, a visit from child protective services, suicidal ideation, and a daughter who despised her own parents for not immediately affirming a new identity she'd been groomed into just weeks earlier. Aaron takes us through how her husband's honest, direct conversation became the turning point that helped their daughter find her way back, and how that experience transformed Aaron from a self-described "sleepwalking, virtue-signaling" mom into a fierce advocate who has now filed federal lawsuits, made three documentary films, and taken her family's case all the way to the Supreme Court. Even in the loss at the highest court, Aaron explains how that case paved the way for other rulings protecting parental rights, like the Mirabelli v. Olsen decision in California. We also get into the incredible, faith-fueled story of how she built Protect Kids Colorado from nothing, mobilizing over 3,300 volunteers and 500 churches, with zero budget, to get citizen ballot measures on the November ballot. By the end of our conversation, Aaron opens up about just how widespread this issue really is, with some school districts reporting as many as one in three kids identifying as LGBTQ, and why it's disproportionately the vulnerable, artistic, and neurodivergent kids being targeted by this social contagion. This is such an important conversation for every parent, grandparent, and pastor to hear, and Aaron is coming back for part two with practical advice on what you can actually do to protect the kids in your life. I Lived a Lesbian Lifestyle for Years — Speaking Truth in Love to Parents of LGBTQ Children | EP 17

#thecrosstv @TheCrossTVOfficial⁩   www.thecrosstv.com THE CROSS TV NETWORK USA Founded By #dr_joseph_nassralla  My name is Naomi, and in this interview I share my full testimony of redemption, how what the enemy intended for evil, God used for good. I grew up in what looked like an idyllic Christian home, the oldest of nine children, homeschooled, memorizing scripture with my family every day. But at 12 years old, a confusing conversation with my father over a girl's crush on me turned into what I now recognize as a word curse, and it set off years of same-sex relationships I never expected for my life, including one relationship so consuming it left me physically wasting away. I walk through the night everything changed, when I had to choose between staying in that relationship and taking up my cross to follow Christ, and how untangling myself from it wasn't instant, it took months of physically, emotionally, and spiritually separating. I share the moment I truly encountered the Holy Spirit in a guest home in Studio City, saw a vision of Jesus on the cross, and had to learn not only to forgive myself but to forgive my father. From there I talk about getting married at last, years of infertility and miscarriages, and having two daughters through what I can only call miracles, one at 40 and one at 46. The second half of this conversation shifts into the ministry I'm part of now, including the "Don't Mess With Our Kids" movement that started in Peru and is now mobilizing across US cities, and why I believe so strongly that Christians have a responsibility to vote, especially on the issue of life. I close in prayer for America and for anyone still trapped in the same bondage I once lived in. If you know someone walking through what I walked through, or a parent who needs hope for their child, I pray this testimony reaches them. Becket Cook PART 2: Gay-Affirming Churches & His Mother's Secret 24-Point Prayer Saved Him From AIDS | EP 16

He walks us through what it actually looked like to leave his old life behind in the middle of Hollywood, telling A-list friends and colleagues about Jesus on movie sets, at the opera, even during a UGG campaign shoot with the client staring right at him. Some of those friends were shaken, some were cold, and one asked the strangest possible follow-up question. Through all of it, Becket never backed down, and it's a powerful picture of what boldness in your true identity actually costs, and what it gives back. We also get into the calling that took him from a fashion brand he built out of nothing straight into seminary, and how that theological training ended up reshaping the book he'd already started writing. From there we talk honestly about where the church is failing right now on sexuality and truth, why so many pastors stay silent while culture disciples their congregations instead, and what it actually looks like to preach the whole counsel of God with courage. The most emotional part of this episode is the story behind Becket's upcoming second book, A Mother's Prayer for Her Gay Son. Years after she'd passed away, he discovered a typed prayer his mother had written for him decades earlier, twenty-four specific prayer points he never knew existed. One of them connects directly to a terrifying moment in his past involving an HIV test, and hearing how those two threads line up will stay with you. If you're a parent, sibling, or friend of someone walking through this, or if you just want to see what God can redeem, this episode is for you. Becket Cook: Gay in Hollywood for 15 Years...Then God Showed Up in a Coffee Shop | EP 15

Connect with Becket at www.becketcook.com Book: "A Change of Affection" amzn.to/3hgOBtu Facebook: facebook.com/becket.cook X: twitter.com/becketcook Instagram: instagram.com/becketcook Podcast: omny.fm/shows/the-becket-cook-show Welcome back to Trusted Voice! Today I'm sitting down with my new friend @BecketCook , a former Hollywood production designer who lived in the gay lifestyle for 15 years before an unforgettable, dramatic encounter with Jesus changed everything. Becket opens up about something he's never shared publicly before: being molested by a friend's father at just nine years old, and how that single traumatic night set him on a path he never chose. We talk about growing up the youngest of eight kids in a Catholic-Charismatic household, the double life he led in high school, and how a broken childhood opened a door the enemy was all too ready to walk through. Becket takes us from Dallas nightclubs and a secret relationship in Tokyo to the heights of Hollywood glamour, where he found himself on set with Nicole Kidman, attending after-parties for the Oscars and Emmys, and watching close friends like Minnie Driver and Lisa Loeb become overnight stars. But underneath the glitz, something wasn't sitting right. We get into the exact moment at Paris Fashion Week when a wave of emptiness hit him out of nowhere, and how six months later, of all places, five Bibles sitting on a coffee shop table in Los Angeles set the stage for the most radical encounter of his life. What happened the first Sunday Becket ever walked into an evangelical church is nothing short of a modern-day road to Damascus, and I get to ask him about every detail. We talk about his parents' surprising grace-filled response to his coming out, God's perfect timing in preparing his heart, and his book, A Change of Affection, which chronicles his whole incredible story of redemption. If you or someone you love needs to hear that no one is too far gone for God to reach, this episode is for you. Kathy Ireland's Pro-Life Turning Point: What One Ultrasound Changed Forever | EP 14

Connect with Kathy: https://kathyireland.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kathyireland/?hl=en X: https://x.com/kathyireland?lang=en In this powerful Part Two with Kathy Ireland and her incredible mom Barbara, we dive even deeper into the journey God has had them both on — and I honestly was not prepared for how much this conversation would move me. We talk about what it truly means to be pro-life, how Barbara's prayer life has shaped not only her family but women around the world, and how Kathy went from being pro-choice to becoming one of the most fearless voices for the unborn — all because of what science revealed and what God's Word confirmed. Barbara's faithfulness to show up at Planned Parenthood, walk door-to-door, and pray on her knees every single morning is one of the most convicting and beautiful things I've ever witnessed. Kathy opens up about the painful season that led to the launch of Kathy Ireland Brands — and what it looks like to rebuild with God as your only strategy. She shares the verse that carried her through it all: Joel 2:25, "I will restore the years the locusts have eaten." Whether you're in a season of loss, betrayal, or uncertainty, this part of our conversation will remind you that God's redemption is always bigger than what the enemy had planned. We also get into the surprising world of commercial lobster fishing — yes, Kathy has been Greg's first mate out on the open water — and the life lessons she's brought back to shore about doing hard things through Christ. We close with wisdom for every generation: Barbara's simple charge to see a need and do something about it, Kathy's JOY principle (Jesus, Others, You), and the importance of learning to say no to good things so God can lead you to great things. Whether you're just starting out or navigating a hard season, I believe this episode will encourage you deeply.
