Interviewing ‘Prince (Royal) in Paradise’ co-writers Adrian Powers and Caera Bradshaw

We’re so excited to bring you this interview with the co-writers of the A Prince in Paradise series (or A Royal in Paradise, depending on where you watch the movies), Adrian Powers and Caera Bradshaw. You’ll remember Adrian from a previous interview after we reviewed ‘A Christmas Castle Proposal.’ We had so much fun together he agreed to drag his writing partner to the show after the release of the third film. You can watch that interview here and if you’d like to see our review, you’ll have to upgrade to a paid subscription as it was a bonus episode. Or you can wait until the Christmas season when we release it to the free side. A delightful time was had by all. We covered a range of topics including how you write a movie with a writing partner, the highs and lows of filming, and the challenges of storytelling in the “Christmasland” format. There was also quite an extensive conversation about the name KIRA. You’ll have to watch to see the roller coast ride of that particular conversation. We can’t say enough great things about these two artists. They were warm, open and generous. True Christmasland citizens! Don’t forget to subscribe on YouTube and share with your friends who love the spirit of Christmas and love the cheesy coziness of tv Christmas movies (and movies from all the surrounding seasons…Christmasland has seasons too!). *Our show is a labor of love. If you’d like to support this type of positivity, please upgrade to a paid subscription. Your support doesn’t just help us do this joyful work, it also helps deposit a little bit more of the Christmas spirit into the world. Thank you and Merry Christmas…always. This is a public episode. A Royal Christmas: Revolution In Cordinia

Our Summer Rewind series continues as we dip into the archives of our first podcast, A Very Merry Podcast. You may remember we decided it would be a good idea to rebrand as there was already a more established podcast with a similar name. But we did a lot of great work over there, so we decided to share some of those episodes to keep the content rolling for the summer on the free side. We’re still making fresh content for our VIPs. Upgrade to a paid subscription to enjoy fresh movie reviews, advice segments and bonus interviews. This episode originally aired in December of 2020 and it covered a range of topics including our favorite Hallmark repeat watches, including The Most Wonderful Time of the Year and If I Only Had Christmas. We were audio-only in those days so visuals are limited. We ended up landing on Lacey Chabert’s A Royal Christmas. It’s a familiar plot (naturally) and one of our favorites. And it made us wonder - do any of these American princess romances ever result in revolution? Listen to find out and don’t forget to upgrade if you haven’t already. If you haven’t heard our review of The Jealous Bride, you are really missing a…fun one. We appreciate your support so we can stay in the Christmas spirit all year round. Summer Rewind: The Genesis of Christmasland

It’s summer break in Christmasland! We’re moving indoors where the AC keeps it cool enough to wear our cozy sweaters and drink our spiced eggnogs. That means fresh content will be behind the paywall until next season (premiering on Halloween). We invite you to join us there for bonus movies, advice segments and you don’t want to miss our Season Awards Show. We’ll hand out the top awards for Best in Season in each of our three categories. But have no fear, we’re not leaving the podcast well dry. We’ll be replaying some of our old podcast episodes (A Very Merry Podcast, FCB Radio Network) - our ‘vintage shows,’ if you will - for our Summer Rewind series. We decided to start right at the start…which makes sense. Episode One of A Very Merry Podcast sounds a bit different from our current format, but it is a great introduction into the world of Christmasland - how we got here, why we started, and our favorite parts of the Hallmark/Christmasland universe. This episode originally aired on the FCB Radio Network in December of 2020 and it was fun to go back and listen to us in the 2020 context. As you’ll remember, it was a tumultuous year, but we managed to stay on track and remain firmly in the Christmas spirit. Enjoy Summer Rewind: The Genesis of Christmasland (originally titled: ep.1 The Christmas Waltz) *Don’t forget to follow us on X Facebook YouTube and Instagram *Click here to upgrade your membership so you can continue to enjoy JTC all summer long. Your support will help us save the town’s favorite Christmas tree farm from the big-city developers who want to tear it down for a hotel. This is a public episode.
