    It's Not a No, It's a NOT YET

It's Not a No, It's a NOT YET | God's Timing, Love & Becoming Who You're Meant to Be 🦄Have you ever looked at your life and thought, GOD, WHAT THE HELL IS TAKING SO LONG? 😂You prayed for it. You worked for it. You manifested it. You cried about it. And somehow, it's STILL not here. Girl, I get it. In this episode of Unicorns Do Exist, I'm talking about perfect timing, divine intervention, heartbreak, motherhood, relationships, money, and why sometimes the things we want so badly aren't coming when we want them to. I'm sharing personal stories about losing my dad, becoming a mother at 37, learning from past relationships, building my career, and even how I met one of my favorite people in the most unexpected way. Because looking back, so many things that didn't make sense at the time eventually led me exactly where I needed to be. And let's talk about dating for a second. 👀 Sometimes you want the love of your life, but you're still in your hoe phase. Sometimes you want the money, but you haven't learned how to manage it. Sometimes you want the blessing, but you haven't become the person who can actually hold it. And before you come for me, I'm talking about myself, too. 😂Maybe God isn't telling you no. Maybe it's just NOT YET. Maybe you're still learning, healing, growing, and becoming the person who can receive what you've been asking for. This isn't about pretending everything happens for a reason or acting like pain doesn't hurt. Losing someone you love will never feel like perfect timing. Sometimes you just need time to see things differently. So, if you're frustrated with where you are, questioning your timing, or wondering why everyone else seems to be getting what you want, this one's for you. Stop rushing the process. Stop comparing your timeline. And please, for the love of God, stop throwing tantrums because you didn't get your ice cream before lunch. 😂🍦 It's not always a no. Sometimes it's a NOT YET.And who knows? Maybe one day you'll look back and understand why it had to happen exactly when it did.Because unicorns do exist… and if you're not one yet, it doesn't mean you're not one. It just means NOT YET. 🦄✨ 🎙️ Listen, laugh, reflect, and tell me: Have you ever looked back at something that once broke your heart and realized it led you somewhere better? Everything Is Working in My Favor. Even My Emotional Damage

Everything Is Working in Your Favor… Even When It Doesn’t Feel Like It | Unicorns Do ExistWhat if life isn't happening to you… but for you? 🦄✨ Welcome back to Unicorns Do Exist, where personal growth meets a little chaos, spirituality meets sarcasm, and healing is never as pretty as Instagram makes it look. In this candid, unfiltered episode, Vanessa gets real about learning to trust herself, protect her energy, and recognize that not everyone has the same intentions she does. From navigating the emotional challenges of co-parenting and motherhood to learning when to let go of the person you thought someone would be, she's discovering that you can believe in magic without ignoring reality. Vanessa shares her Mario-inspired theory of life: every level comes with new challenges, and if you don't learn the lesson, you're going to keep playing the same level. She reflects on her personal growth, her mental health journey, the importance of accepting change, and why protecting your spark doesn't mean losing your kindness. Plus, there's a wild true-crime conversation, childhood sister fights worthy of a reality show, fantasy football picked entirely on vibes, and a reminder that sometimes the best thing you can do is surrender what you can't control. In this episode, we talk about: Protecting your peace without losing your loving nature. Recognizing patterns and learning life's lessons. Co-parenting, boundaries, and the consequences of how we treat our exes. Motherhood, change, and making space for complicated emotions. Spirituality, faith, and trusting that things can work out in your favor. Why you can be a kind person without giving everyone access to you. Your reminder for today? You don't have to become a bitter person just because life taught you to be more careful.Keep your heart open. Keep your standards high. Learn the lesson. Protect your spark. And remember: Everything is always working in your favor. What is meant for you cannot miss you.🦄 Because unicorns do exist… and you're listening to one. Are Women Monsters, or Are We Driving Them Crazy?

Are Women Monsters, or Are We Driving Them Crazy? | Unicorns Do Exist S2E2 🦄Apparently, women are supposed to be quiet, polite, agreeable, and emotionally regulated while the world tests every last nerve we have. And when we finally snap? Suddenly, we're the monsters. Cute. 🙃 This week on Unicorns Do Exist, we're diving into the stories of Lizzie Borden, Aileen Wuornos, and Lindsay Clancy, connecting true crime, women's anger, mental health, and a system that too often fails to listen until it's too late. We also revisit the disturbing questions surrounding the Cornell University sexual assault case and what accountability really means when people with the power to act choose not to. As a sexual assault survivor who reported what happened to her and still didn't get the justice she hoped for, this conversation is personal. I know what it feels like to speak up and wonder whether anyone is actually listening. Let's be clear: understanding someone's pain doesn't mean excusing violence. Revenge isn't healing, and becoming a monster isn't empowerment. But what happens when women ask for help, raise their voices, and keep getting dismissed until their stories become headlines? We're talking about rage, responsibility, motherhood, mental health, boundaries, financial independence, and why women should never have to choose between suffering in silence and being labeled crazy. Because apparently, a woman can survive hell, set one boundary, and suddenly she's the villain. Make it make sense. It's time to stop asking, "Why are women so angry?" and start asking, "What happened that made them this angry?"🦄 Your anger isn't automatically a character flaw. Sometimes, it's information. Listen to it, learn from it, and turn it into something that changes your life. Watch Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story on Netflix and Furious on Hulu, then come back and tell me what you think. Are women born monsters, or are they pushed to their breaking point? Let's talk. Because unicorns do exist… but you have to be brave enough to create the magic. 🎙️ Listen, share, and join the conversation:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/unicornsdoexistpod📩 unicornsdoexistpodcast@gmail.comContent note: This episode discusses sexual assault, violence against women, murder, postpartum mental health, and failures of accountability.

Starting Over Isn’t Starting From Zero

What happens when you realize you don't actually have your shit figured out? After taking a couple of weeks away from the podcast, Vanessa returns to Unicorns Do Exist with a brutally honest conversation about anxiety, uncertainty, healing, motherhood, dating, and starting over. Her anxiety has been loud lately. Her brain and body aren't exactly on speaking terms, and she's realizing that sometimes the answer isn't to manifest harder, push through, or pretend everything is fine. Sometimes the answer is to slow down, go back to the basics, journal, move your body, rest, and yes… go back to therapy. But that's only part of the story. While trying to get her mental health back on track, Vanessa is also navigating a relationship she never expected to want. What started as something casual became emotional, complicated, intimate—and suddenly she's asking herself some uncomfortable questions: Am I actually seeing reasons this won't work, or am I looking for reasons because I'm afraid to let myself fall? This isn't an episode about having all the answers. It's about realizing you don't need them. Vanessa talks about learning to sit with uncomfortable feelings instead of immediately reacting to them, allowing herself to like someone without knowing where it will go, asking for professional help without seeing it as weakness, and giving herself permission to rest without guilt. Most importantly, she realizes that starting over doesn't mean starting from zero.It means starting again with everything you've already learned. This is Unicorns Do Exist at its core: love, sex, motherhood, healing, mental health, questionable decisions, dark humor, and figuring out how to find the magic when life looks absolutely nothing like the plan. Because maybe you aren't lost. Maybe you're just coming back to yourself. 🦄✨ Follow Unicorns Do Exist: @unicornsdoexistpod
