    FEEL GOOD HOUR - SERIES 3 SHOW 2 - ANXIETY, JUNE 2026

The Feel Good Hour Podcast turns its attention to anxiety - not just as a word people throw around, but as something millions experience in real life through racing thoughts, physical tension, overthinking, fear, uncertainty and the feeling that the mind is constantly overloaded.  Hosted by broadcaster and wellbeing advocate Sam Griffin alongside life coach, hypnotherapist and best-selling author Nigel Jones, the episode starts by asking what anxiety really is and why so many people misunderstand it, before exploring whether we are now living in The Age of Anxiety.  The episode, titled The Age of Anxiety: AI, Doomscrollingand How To Cope in a World That Won’t Switch Off, looks at why modern life can feel so overwhelming - from AI job fears and doomscrolling to 24-hour information, family pressure, imposter syndrome, physical symptoms and the everyday moments when the mind feels as if it has grabbed the steering wheel. Anxiety is now one of the most common mental health challenges in the world. The World Health Organisation estimates that 359 million people were living with an anxiety disorder in 2021, making anxiety disorders the most common mental disorders globally. In England, NHS data shows that one in five adults had acommon mental health condition in 2023/24, with generalised anxiety disorder the most prevalent specific condition. Nigel explains anxiety as the brain and body’s protection system, not a sign that someone is broken. The problem, hesays, is when that system becomes overactive and starts treating everyday lifelike danger. The episode includes practical tools from Nigel’s coaching, NLP and hypnotherapy work, including the Control Room, Challenge Hierarchy, Inner Librarian, Reticular Activating System, submodality work, mindfulness practices, and simple ways to interrupt anxious thinking patterns. Listeners will hear: · what anxiety is and why it is so often misunderstood· why modern life can leave the mind feeling overloaded· how AI fears, doomscrolling and constant uncertainty feed the threat system· the different types of anxiety people may experience· why anxiety can feel so physical· why anxious thoughts can feel so believable· how imposter syndrome fits into anxiety· how mindfulness can help bring the mind back to now· one practical thing listeners can do right now to start taking back control Nigel says: “Anxiety is not proof you’re broken. It is the brain and body trying to protect you. The problem is when that protection system becomes overactive and starts running your life. The aim isn’t to never feel anxious. The aim is to stop anxiety driving the car.”  Sam Griffin brings the listener’s questions into the conversation, keeping the episode practical, accessible and grounded in everyday life. The Feel Good Hour is a monthly podcast hosted by Sam Griffin and Nigel Jones. Each episode tackles a real-lifewellbeing challenge and breaks it down into practical tools, clear thinking and everyday action. FEEL GOOD HOUR - SERIES 3, SHOW 1 - HAPPINESS, MAY 2026

Live, Uncut and Straight Talking - The Feel Good Hour Launches With a New Take on Happiness London 7th May 2026… The Feel Good Hour, has launched with a bold, stripped-back format - recorded live in one take with no edits - tackling real-life problems with practical tools that work, starting with a challenge to one of the biggest myths around happiness. Hosted by Nigel Jones, best-selling author, life coach and hypnotherapist, alongside broadcaster and well-being advocate Sam Griffin, the show builds on its origins as a radiosegment and steps into a full podcast format. No edits. No second takes. What you hear is exactly what happened. The concept is simple: real-life problems, straight answers, tools that work. Each episode takes a specific challenge - from anxiety and sleep to habits and mindset - and breaks it down into what’s actually going on and, more importantly, what people can do about it in real life. The format is designed to feel like listening in on a live coaching session, with Sam asking the questions listeners are already thinking, and Nigel giving practical, experience-based answers. In this episode we tackle one of the biggest well-being topics: happiness. But instead of repeating the usual advice, the episode challenges one of the most common assumptions peoplestill believe - that happiness comes from what happens to you. Nigel draws on principles from positive psychology, including the PERMA model, alongside his own coaching work and personal experience, to show that happiness is far more influenced by mindset, focus and daily habits than external events. Sam keeps the conversation grounded, cutting through theory and pushing for clarity so the focus stays on what people can actually use. Originally developed from a radio show format, The Feel Good Hour has already built a loyal following and now reaches a growing audience across the UK, Europe, the USA and worldwide. The aim is not to overcomplicate well-being, but to make it practical, accessible and useful. As Nigel puts it: “Overthinking keeps people stuck. Better thinking moves you forward.” Links Website: www.feelgoodhour.com YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeH5NI1EWf4 Hosts: Nigel Jones and Sam Griffin   Format: Monthly podcast, recorded live Origin: Developed from a radio show format Audience: (UK, Europe, USA and worldwide) Focus: Practical tools for well-being, mindset and behaviour change About Nigel JonesNigel Jones is a life coach, hypnotherapist and best-selling author of Walking Back to Happiness. FEEL GOOD HOUR PODCAST 2026 EPISODE 4 - DREAMS

WE SPEND SIX YEARS OF OUR LIVES DREAMING - BUT WHAT DO THOSE DREAMS MEAN? To mark National Bed Month this March, the Feel Good Hour explores the science, psychology and symbolism of dreams - and what our sleeping minds may be trying to process. March marks National Bed Month, an annual campaign highlighting the importance of good sleep for physical and mental wellbeing. This month, the Feel Good Hour is turning its attention to one of the most fascinating parts of sleep - dreams. Experts estimate that the average person spends around two hours every night dreaming, adding up to almost six years of a lifetime spent inside the dream world. Yet most people know very little about why dreams happen or what they might mean.   On Friday 13 March, 12:30–1:30pm, presenter Sam Griffin explore the topic live on The Feel Good Hour on Radio Ashford, joined by Kent‑based life coach, hypnotherapist and sleep specialist Nigel Jones, author of Walking Back to Happiness and founder of the 9KM BY 9AM well- being movement. During the programme Nigel explores the psychology and science behind dreaming, explaining how dreams can help the brain process emotion, organise memories and sometimes reveal the pressures we are experiencing in waking life. “Dreams are often dismissed as random nonsense,” says Nigel. “But research suggests they play an important role in helping the brain process experiences and emotions. When the conscious mind rests, the unconscious mind continues working.”  The show includes questions such as: -       Why do we dream? -       Are dreams symbolic - and how should we interpret them safely? -       What’s the difference between nightmares, night terrors, sleepwalking and stress‑related dreams? Sam shares a few of her own dreams live on air for Nigel to explore, giving listeners a fascinating insight into how dream symbolism can reflect everyday life experiences. The episode highlights the importance of sleep habits, sleep beliefs and sleep hygiene, with practical tips listeners can try immediately to improve their sleep quality.  “Good sleep is one of the most powerful foundations for mental health,” Nigel adds. “When we improve sleep, we often improve mood, clarity and resilience at the same time.” Recorded LIVE onThe Feel Good Hour on Friday 13 March from 12:30–1:30pm. FEEL GOOD HOUR PODCAST 2026 EPISODE 3 - HOARDING

Welcome to The Feel Good Hour - the show that helps you feel lighter, brighter, and back in the driver’s seat.   With National Old Stuff Day falling on 2 March, we’re talking about hoarding - one of the most misunderstoodmental health conditions.   It’s often dismissed as mess or disorganisation, but for millions of people it’s something far deeper, affecting health, homes and relationships.   Joining Sam, as always, is Nigel Jones - life coach, hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner, author of Walking Back to Happiness, and founder of 9KM BY 9AM. Nigel works with behaviour change at a deep emotional level and helps people make changes that are realistic, compassionate and lasting.   National Old Stuff Day is a timely moment to reflect on our relationship with possessions - why we keep things, what they represent emotionally, and when holding on stops being comforting and starts becoming harmful. This isn’t about blame or forced clear-outs. It’s about understanding and taking small, safe steps forward.   1.     When does “being a bit messy” or “liking to keep things” cross the line into hoarding? 2.    Is hoarding officially recognised as a mental health condition — and how is it classified medically? 3.     What’s really going on underneath hoarding behaviour — what emotional need is being met? 4.    What impact can hoarding have on physicalhealth? 5.    What impact does hoarding have on mental healthover time? 6.    How does hoarding affect partners, children, carers and others around the hoarder? 7.     Is it realistic to tackle hoarding alone — or does it usually need support and structure? 8.    What are some gentle first steps if decluttering feels panic‑inducing? 9.    What can we learn from Japanese and other cultural approaches to possessions and tidying? 10.  Is there a simple, judgement‑free self‑check listeners can do — and one small action for National Old Stuff Day? If something resonated today, remember this: hoarding isn’t about laziness or mess - it’s about emotion, safety and identity. Change doesn’t start with bin bags. It starts with compassion and one small step. If you’d like to find out more about Nigel’s work in coaching, NLP and hypnotherapy, head to 9kmby9am.com oremail nigel@9kmby9am.com

FEEL GOOD HOUR PODCAST 2026 EPISODE 2 - RESOLUTIONS CHECK IN

FEEL GOOD HOUR PODCAST - SHOW 2 2026 Resolution Check-In: You’ve Got This Far Mid-January reset • New Year’s resolutions • Dry January The Feel Good Hour Podcast…Recorded LIVE on Radio Ashford on 20th January 2026. As January reaches and passes its midpoint, millions of people across the UK are reassessing their New Year’s resolutions — particularly around health, wellbeing and alcohol. Recent figures suggest that around 72% of UK adults — approximately 39.5 million people - planned to make a New Year’s resolution, with lifestyle change topping the list. Alcohol remains a major focus: more than 17.5 million adults — nearly one in three — planned to take a full month-long break from drinking this January, while around 21% of the UK population say they intend to drink less in 2026. Despite the strong start, this stage of January is where many people begin to doubt themselves. Motivation naturally dips, routines are disrupted, and even small slips can feel like failure — often leading people to abandon their goals altogether. Life coach and hypnotherapist Nigel Jones reframes this moment very differently. “You can only ever run halfway into a field,” says Jones. “After that, you’re running out. If you’ve made it halfway through January, you’ve already done the hardest part. From here on, you’re running toward the finish line — and you can see it.” Research into behaviour change consistently shows that the early weeks of change demand the most mental energy. Habits are unfamiliar, routines haven’t bedded in, and people rely heavily on motivation rather than automatic behaviour. Once this phase passes, consistency becomes easier and momentum begins to build — particularly when change is broken down into small, daily actions rather than all-or-nothing goals. “People think they’ve failed because it doesn’t feel easy yet,” says Nigel. “But it’s not supposed to feel easy at this stage. That doesn’t mean it’s not working.” We talk blips, cravings, Dry January, daily goals, and what really helps people stay on track — without guilt, pressure, or perfectionism. If you’ve slipped, stalled, or just need reassurance, this hour is for you. QUESTIONS INCLUDE We’re halfway through January — why is this the point people wobble most with resolutions? Let’s talk about blips — are they failure, or part of the process? If someone’s had a blip, what’s the healthiest way to respond — mentally and practically? Cravings can hit hard — what’s going on in the brain? In the moment of a craving, what simple tools can help people ride it out? What if someone does fall off the wagon — especially with alcohol — how do they avoid the spiral? With Dry January in mind, what helps people get through the month and maybe keep going? If resolutions are meant to last longer than January, how should people be thinking about change? For anyone thinking “I haven’t done this perfectly” — what’s the one message they need to hear? Hosted on Radio Ashford 107.1 FM, The Feel Good Hour is designed to be accessible, practical and supportive - offering real-life tools listeners can try immediately, without pressure or perfection. #FeelGoodHour #RadioAshford #BeyondResolutions #Goals2026 #DryJanuary #Wellbeing #PersonalGrowth #NigelJones #SamGriffin #9kmby9am
