  2. Youth Sports Parents Gone Wild

    Youth Sports Parents Gone Wild

Youth sports parents… are absolutely wild. In this episode of This with Krish, I tell the hilarious and slightly unbelievable story of my son’s lacrosse game against a team we’ll simply call “Cobra Kai.” What started as a simple 9:00 AM youth game turned into a 3.5 hour delay, suspicious scheduling, a massive Dallas thunderstorm, lightning on the field, and grown adults arguing while kids were standing there with metal lacrosse sticks. Yep… youth sports in 2026. But beyond the humor, this episode digs into something deeper. What happened to youth sports? When did kids’ games start feeling like the NFL playoffs? Why are some parents and coaches so intense that they forget the point of the game entirely? We talk about: • The insanity of modern youth sports culture • Crazy sideline parents and hyper-intense coaches • Why winning isn’t everything for kids • The importance of humility, safety, and respect • What youth sports are supposed to teach our children • And why storms on the field sometimes reveal a lot about people This episode is funny, real, and something every sports parent will recognize instantly. Because at the end of the day… these are kids playing a game. And maybe adults need the reminder. If you’ve ever sat in a folding chair at a youth sports field… this episode is for you. 3. Run Your Race: Time, Faith, and Finishing Well

Run Your Race: Time, Faith, and Finishing Well

How much time do we really have? As another birthday approaches, I’ve been thinking deeply about time, legacy, faith, and what it truly means to run the race of life and finish it well. In this episode of This with Krish, I reflect on a powerful message delivered by Pastor Dan Lian at Keystone Church that challenged me to think about life differently. For most of my younger years, I wondered if people would remember me someday. Would anyone remember the things I built, the things I tried, the good things or even the mistakes? Over time that question changed. Instead of worrying about what the world might remember, I started thinking about what my wife and children would remember. And then something even deeper happened. I realized that while I care deeply about my family remembering me fondly, the only thing that truly matters is living for God and faithfully running the race He has given me. In this episode we talk about: • Why time feels different as we grow older • What it means to truly finish the race of life • Why legacy isn’t about fame but faithfulness • Why I started this podcast in the first place • The moment after Charlie Kirk’s assassination that changed how I thought about leaving something behind for my kids • Writing handwritten birthday letters for my children that they can open every year until they are 99 • The realization that moments—not money—are the real currency of life • A powerful reflection inspired by James Van Der Beek about time, family, and presence This episode is about slowing down long enough to ask the question we often avoid: Are we running the race God gave us… or someone else’s? If this conversation resonates with you, share it with someone who might need encouragement today.
