First, a group of kids stumble across a mysterious tent in the middle of nowhere, and the bizarre events that follow leave them wondering exactly what they had wandered into. Then we head to an abandoned smelting factory where a group exploring the property witnesses hundreds of bats suddenly pour out of the building. But the bats aren’t the strangest part. Shortly afterward, they hear massive banging coming from inside… followed by a terrifying shriek that absolutely no one can explain. 😳 And then there’s the man who accidentally wanders into what appears to be a secret military installation. What he sees there leaves him seriously creeped out and raises one very uncomfortable question: exactly what was going on in that place?     The Alpine Divorce: Kerstin Gurtner & the Grossglockner Mystery

    On January 18, 2025, Kerstin Gurtner and her boyfriend Thomas Plamberger set out on a winter ascent of Austria’s highest mountain, the Grossglockner. By the following morning, Kerstin was dead, just 50 meters from the summit. At first glance, it could be a horrific mountaineering accident. But the deeper you go into what happened that night, the more questions begin to emerge. In this episode, SherRee takes a deep dive into the Kerstin Gurtner case, unpacking the details that may have never made it into the headlines. We’ll follow the couple’s climb, examine the timeline of their final hours on the mountain, look at the equipment they had with them, the changing weather conditions, rescue efforts, phone calls, messages, and the evidence investigators uncovered afterward. We’ll also get into the details surrounding the Grossglockner webcams, Kerstin’s physical condition, the decisions made as the situation deteriorated, and the questions surrounding why help wasn’t called sooner.
