Ep. 40 - How to Refill Your Well: Finding Your Way Back to Creativity, Flow & Yourself

Love to hear your take aways. Send me a message. This week, I sat down to record a podcast... and nothing came. No big lesson. No inspiring story. No topic I was excited to teach. At first, I thought I needed to push through it. But then I realized maybe the answer wasn't to force another episode. Maybe it was to ask a different question: How do we refill our well? In this conversation, I'm reflecting on the importance of stepping away from constant output and creating space to receive. We explore the rhythms of creativity, why inspiration can't be forced, and a few of the simple practices that help me reconnect with God, myself, and the flow that's always waiting beneath the noise. If you've been feeling uninspired, stretched thin, or like you've been pouring from an empty cup, this episode is your permission slip to pause, breathe, and refill your well. Because sometimes the most productive thing we can do... is receive. Soulful Sunday Newsletter:  Each week, you’ll hear from me in a way that’s simple, intentional, and easy to stay connected to. Ep 39 - What My Birth Chart Taught Me About Myself | Cancer Sun, Aquarius Moon & Gemini Rising

Love to hear your take aways. Send me a message. Have you ever discovered something about yourself that made you pause and think, "Huh... that actually explains a lot?" In this birthday reflection episode, I'm sharing what happened when I began exploring Tropical Astrology as a complete beginner. No predictions. No expertise. Just curiosity. After turning 53, I started learning about the three foundational pieces of a birth chart, often called The Big Three: your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs. As I explored my own chart (Cancer Sun, Aquarius Moon, Gemini Rising), I found myself asking deeper questions about who I've always been and how those qualities have quietly shaped my life. In this episode we explore: • What Tropical Astrology is (and how it differs from Sidereal Astrology) • The meaning of your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs • Why curiosity may be one of the greatest gifts of midlife • How astrology became another lens for self-awareness alongside neuroscience, faith, Human Design, and The Artist's Way • Why understanding ourselves is often more powerful than trying to fix ourselves This episode is less about astrology and more about self-discovery. Whether you've been studying your birth chart for years or have never looked at one before, my hope is that this conversation inspires you to become a little more curious about yourself. A heartfelt thank you to Gabi Turik, whose wisdom and guidance sparked my curiosity and encouraged me to explore my birth chart through the lens of Tropical Astrology. What I appreciated most was that she didn't tell me who I am. She simply offered another framework for understanding myself more deeply. If you're interested in learning more about Gabi's work or booking a reading, visit https://www.gabiturik.com. Gabi also recommends https://www.astro.com as an excellent free resource for generating your own birth chart. All you'll need is your birth date, the exact time you were born (if possible), and your birthplace to begin exploring your own Big Three. If this episode resonates with you, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Share your Big Three with me on Instagram or send me a message. I'm learning right alongside you. Until next time, keep being bold, keep being audacious, and keep walking yourself home. Ep 38 - Why the Best Moments in Life Aren't on the Itinerary: Lessons on Trust, Intuition & Presence

Love to hear your take aways. Send me a message. What if the most meaningful moments in your life aren't the ones you planned? After returning home from two unforgettable weeks in Italy with her three children, Celeste shares the deeper lessons she brought back with her. This isn't a travel recap. It's a conversation about what happens when we loosen our grip, trust our intuition, and create space for life to surprise us. In this episode, you'll discover: • Why planning creates structure, but presence creates memories. • How one frustrating detour became one of the greatest lessons of the trip. • The powerful difference between structure and control. • What happens when we ignore our intuition... and what changes when we listen. • Why slowing down creates space for joy, creativity, connection, and God's quiet guidance. Whether you're navigating a new season of life, feeling pulled in a dozen directions, or simply longing for a little more peace, this episode is a gentle reminder that possibility often lives in the moments we never could have planned. If this episode resonates with you, I'd love to invite you to join us for our August Book Study Seminar beginning August 5th as we explore The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. Together, we'll spend four weeks rediscovering creativity, intuition, flow, and the courage to become more available to the life that's waiting for us. Because sometimes the greatest souvenir isn't what you bring home... It's who you become along the way. Ep 37- A Guided Meditation for Returning to Flow

Love to hear your take aways. Send me a message. What if, for the next 15 minutes, you gave yourself permission to simply receive? Last week, we explored the idea that flow isn't something you find—it's something you allow. This week, I'm inviting you to experience it. This guided meditation is designed to help you quiet the noise, soften your grip, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and return to the natural flow that's already within you. Whether you're beginning your morning, taking a mindful walk, sitting in your favorite chair with a cup of coffee, or simply needing a reset in the middle of a busy day, this meditation is here for you. And here's something I hope you'll remember: This isn't an episode to listen to once. It's one to save. To come back to again and again. Because flow isn't a destination we arrive at—it's a relationship we nurture. Every time you return to your breath, your heart, and your inner knowing, you strengthen that relationship. In this guided meditation, you'll: ✨ Release the mental noise and tension of the day  ✨ Visualize healing golden light flowing through your body  ✨ Practice letting go of control and trusting the next step  ✨ Reconnect with your intuition, peace, and inner wisdom  ✨ Leave feeling grounded, open, and ready to move through your day with greater ease If this meditation leaves you wanting to explore flow more deeply, I'd love to have you join us in August for our Book Study Seminar as we journey through The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. Together we'll spend four weeks exploring creativity, intuition, trust, play, and authentic self-expression—the practices that help us create lives with more flow. Ep 36 - Flow Isn't Something You Find, It's Something You Allow | Trust, Creativity & The Courage to Let Life Flow

Love to hear your take aways. Send me a message. What if flow isn't something you need to find? What if it's already there—waiting for room? In this solo episode of Midlife Audacity, Celeste explores a powerful shift in perspective: flow isn't something we create through more effort, more planning, or more control. Flow is our natural state. The real question becomes: what's blocking it? Drawing on a lesson from teaching the cardiovascular system and a simple garden hose analogy, Celeste unpacks how perfectionism, overthinking, fear, and the need for certainty can restrict the natural flow of creativity, joy, abundance, and possibility in our lives. This episode is an invitation to stop forcing and start allowing. To loosen your grip, trust the next step, and make room for what wants to emerge. In This Episode: ✨ Why flow may already be available to you  ✨ The surprising connection between blood flow and life flow  ✨ How perfectionism, fear, and control create "kinks in the hose"  ✨ The difference between passive trust and participatory trust  ✨ Why courage often looks like surrender  ✨ A powerful question to help you identify what's blocking your flow If you've been craving more ease, creativity, intuition, and alignment in your life, this conversation is for you. Mentioned in This Episode Registration is now open for the August Book Study Seminar featuring The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. Together we'll explore the deeper theme of FLOW through creativity, intuition, trust, play, and authentic self-expression. Ep 35 - Why Secure Men Aren't Threatened by Strong Women

Love to hear your take aways. Send me a message. In this Father's Day episode of Midlife Audacity, I reflect on the men who have shaped my life—my father, my husband, mentors, coaches, and friends—and explore a question that's been on my mind: Have we become so focused on criticizing unhealthy masculinity that we've forgotten to celebrate healthy masculinity? This isn't a conversation about men versus women. It's a conversation about partnership, wholeness, and the masculine and feminine energies that exist within all of us. I share my thoughts on: ✨ The difference between healthy and unhealthy masculinity  ✨ Why secure men aren't threatened by strong women  ✨ Masculine and feminine energy explained in simple terms  ✨ The role of steadiness, responsibility, and support in healthy relationships  ✨ How over-functioning and carrying everything can leave women exhausted  ✨ What I've learned about trust, receiving, and allowing support in midlife  ✨ Why the healthiest relationships aren't built on power, but partnership I also share personal reflections about my father, my marriage to Steve, and the lessons I've learned about balancing strength, support, leadership, and love. If you've ever found yourself carrying too much, trying to do it all, or wondering what healthy partnership really looks like, this episode is for you. Because perhaps the goal isn't becoming more masculine or more feminine. Perhaps the goal is becoming more whole. Ep 34 - Is It Guilt or Grief? What Happens When Someone You Love Is Disappointed

Love to hear your take aways. Send me a message. Two weeks before a dream trip to Italy, I made one of the hardest decisions I've made in a long time: I asked my husband not to come. What followed wasn't relief. It was guilt. Or at least I thought it was guilt. In this deeply personal episode of Midlife Audacity, I share the story behind that decision, the emotional weight that followed, and the surprising realization that changed everything: Sometimes we're not carrying guilt at all. Sometimes we're carrying grief. Together, we'll explore: ✨ Why feeling guilty doesn't automatically mean you've done something wrong ✨ Brené Brown's distinction between guilt and shame ✨ How caring people often confuse someone else's disappointment with evidence that they've made a bad decision ✨ The emotional maturity required to let people be different than we wish they were ✨ Why grief and guilt can feel surprisingly similar ✨ The powerful question: What fantasy am I still holding onto that reality is asking me to release? If you've ever set a boundary, chosen yourself, changed directions, disappointed someone you love, or questioned a decision that felt right but uncomfortable, this episode is for you. Because sometimes the hardest part isn't making the decision. It's grieving the version of the story you hoped would happen.  Soulful Sunday Newsletter:  Each week, you’ll hear from me in a way that’s simple, intentional, and easy to stay connected to. Ep 33 - Reconnecting with Your Creative Self: Hypnosis, Identity Shifts & a Guided Meditation

Love to hear your take aways. Send me a message. Have you ever wondered why certain patterns seem to repeat no matter how much personal development work you do? In this week's episode of Midlife Audacity, I'm sharing insights from a powerful two-day hypnosis training with Penny Chiasson that completely deepened my understanding of the conscious mind, subconscious mind, and how lasting transformation really happens. We explore what hypnosis actually is (and what it isn't), why it doesn't override free will, and how accessing the subconscious mind can help us move beyond old stories, beliefs, and resistance that may be quietly shaping our lives. I also share my experience learning how to perform a hypnosis induction, why this work fascinates me as a coach, and how I believe it can help women create identity-level shifts from the inside out. Then, instead of a traditional teaching episode, I guide you through a gentle meditation designed to reconnect you with the playful, creative part of yourself that may have been buried beneath responsibilities, expectations, and productivity. Inside this episode: ✨ What hypnosis really is and why it's often misunderstood ✨ The difference between conscious and subconscious resistance ✨ How beliefs are formed and repeated over time ✨ Why creativity and play are essential parts of your Zone of Genius ✨ A guided meditation to reconnect with curiosity, joy, and authentic expression If you've been feeling the pull to create, explore, play, or simply reconnect with yourself in a deeper way, this episode is for you.
