This week brings the 2nd instalment of our snowboard & snowsports podcast, and we’re joined once again by our new co-host, The Trap Lord himself — Mr B00by Trap, John Weatherley 🤙 Joining him is Neil “9 Lives” Campbell, an OG of the UK snowboard scene. Snowboarding was something Neil never thought he’d have access to. That all changed when he landed a job at his local snow dome — and the rest, as they say, is history. From pushing the UK park scene with his feature-building skills alongside his local crew, to working seasons abroad and spending time riding alongside some of the world’s best snowboarders and coaches, Neil has packed a lot into his snowboarding life. He earned the nickname “9 Lives” for his ability to take things to the limit — big tracks, big airs and, of course, some absolutely savage slams… only to somehow get back up and walk away every time. These days, Neil runs a huge snowboard podcast page where he reviews riders’ reels and gives his thoughts on some of the best riders in the UK and around the world. Stories. Laughs. Riding. Tricks. Q&As from the listeners. Two OG snowboard dons in one room at the same time….. This one has it all.

This week we sit down with DJ Respect Afrika & his Manager NuNo , the Cape Verde born, Manchester-based Afro House DJ known for taking his music beyond the clubs and turning ordinary streets into huge, spontaneous dance. His sound blends Afro House, Afro Tech, tribal percussion and African influences, with a message centred around connection, unity and bringing people together. We talk all things about his early life growing up in Cape Verde & his journey across Europe building a following in Portugal before moving to Manchester where him and his team are bringing the best Afro house events to the city and further a field.
