    Balancing the Lines: Power, Fire, and Farming

    The Power of Washington Youth Tour: A former student's Washington D.C. Experience

    This month, we caught up with former Washington Youth Tour delegate, Emma Sanders, to discuss the opportunities and connections she gained through the program.  Emma offers an inside look at her experience, from her time at the Frankfort Youth Tour learning about state government, to her week-long trip in Washington D.C., and updates us on how those experiences are informing her studies at Lindsey Wilson University.  Know a high school junior and Farmers RECC member that is interested in applying for Youth Tour?     Powering Our Veterans: Honoring those who served through Honor Flight Kentucky

    In this Veteran's Day episode, we sit down with Mr. Rodney Bell, a 2025 Honor Flight Kentucky veteran, to discuss his day visiting Washington D.C.'s monuments and memorials. From the Tomb of the Unknown Solider to the Honor Flight Welcome Home Ceremony, Mr. Bell shares his experience and why every veteran should consider applying. If you've ever wondered what Honor Flight is all about, this episode is your inside look at a day dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of Kentucky veterans.
