Before You Read Revelation, Watch This (Mark of the Beast, 666, and the Millennium Explained)

Most people who talk about Revelation have never actually read it. They know the highlights — the Four Horsemen, the mark of the Beast, 666, Armageddon — but they've never sat with the text long enough to see what it's actually doing. And the impression most people are left with is wrong. Before the Bible Chapter by Chapter series on Revelation begins, this video clears the ground: what kind of book Revelation really is (it's apocalyptic literature — "unveiling," not "catastrophe"), what it is not (not a code for predicting the future, not designed to terrify, not a commentary on your country's politics), and what it actually is — a letter to seven real churches, a throne-room vision centered on a Lamb, and a worship manual built around one question: who is worthy? In this video:• What "apocalyptic literature" actually means — and how to read its symbolism• The three biggest myths about Revelation, debunked• The mark of the Beast and 666 — the historical context (Nero Caesar), without the microchip theories• The millennium debate in Chapter 20 — premillennialism, postmillennialism, and amillennialism, explained fairly• The ending almost everyone misses — not fire, but a city, a river, and a tree whose leaves heal the nationsWhat comes to mind when you hear the word "Revelation"? Be honest — the Beast? The rapture? Confusion? Tell me in the comments. I read every one.Come back for the full verse-by-verse series through Revelation, starting with Chapter 1.#Revelation #BookOfRevelation #MarkOfTheBeast #666 #NewJerusalem #BibleStudy #BibleChapterByChapter

1 John 5 — That You May Know | Bible Chapter by Chapter

How do you know? Not hope, not wish — know, with the kind of certainty that doesn't flinch when the room goes dark and the feelings go quiet. That's the question John has been building toward for four chapters, and in this final chapter of 1 John, he plays his last card: you can know you have eternal life. This chapter brings in three witnesses — the Spirit, the water, and the blood — all testifying to the same thing. It delivers the one sentence that is the reason John picked up the pen in the first place. And it ends with a hard left turn: after five chapters of God is light, God is love, God is true, the very last words of the letter are a warning — keep yourselves from idols. In this video we cover: • Faith That Overcomes the World (1 John 5:1–5) • The Three Witnesses — Spirit, Water, and Blood (1 John 5:6–12) • "That You May Know" — the thesis of the entire letter (1 John 5:13–17) • Three Things We Know — and the final warning (1 John 5:18–21) Reading from the World English Bible (public domain). What is the one thing you know — not hope, not wish, but know — about God? Leave your honest answer in the comments; I read every one. That's the whole letter of 1 John — five chapters, one hundred and five verses, and it hasn't aged a day. Thank you for walking through every chapter of this one with me. #BibleStudy #1John #EternalLife #ThreeWitnesses #OvercomeTheWorld #BibleChapterByChapter
