Why Women Who’ve Done the Work Still Pull Back at the Midlife Threshold with Meghan

What if the hardest part of growth isn’t learning what you don’t know… but accessing what you already know when it matters most? ✨ Episode SummaryIn this episode of Voices of Impact, I’m excited to welcome Meghan Raza, a neuro-performance coach and workplace psychological health and safety advisor, for a powerful conversation about patterns, pressure, leadership, and the gap between awareness and actual change. This episode is for you if: • You’ve done significant inner work but still notice old patterns under pressure • You understand your patterns intellectually but struggle to change them consistently • You’re navigating a new level of leadership, visibility, or responsibility • You’re a woman approaching a major personal or professional threshold • You lead a team and want to understand how pressure shapes organizational behavior • You want to move beyond insight into embodied, sustainable change • You’re curious about the connection between neuroscience, performance, leadership, and behavior 🔥 Key TakeawaysAwareness is not the same as access. You can understand exactly why you respond a certain way and still find yourself repeating the behavior. Sustainable change requires being able to access a different response when the pattern is activated. Pressure reveals what is already operating underneath. When the stakes rise, we often fall back on familiar responses. Pressure can therefore become a window into the patterns that still need attention—not necessarily the source of those patterns. Doing the work doesn’t mean you’re finished evolving. Personal growth doesn’t eliminate every old pattern. New levels of responsibility, visibility, and leadership can reveal parts of ourselves that haven’t yet been integrated at that level. Your next threshold can activate your old identity. Sometimes the challenge isn’t that you don’t know what your next level requires. It’s that your nervous system, habits, and identity are still familiar with the version of you that came before it. Organizations have patterns too. Teams can consciously define values around trust, collaboration, psychological safety, and healthy leadership. But pressure can reveal whether those values are truly embodied or simply documented. Change has to move beyond insight. Knowing better is valuable. But transformation happens when that knowing becomes available in real moments—especially the difficult ones. Building More Than a Business: The Woman, Mother, and Mission Behind an 8-Figure Company with Cherie

What if building an 8-figure company isn’t just about what you build… but who you become while building it? ✨ Episode SummaryIn this episode of Voices of Impact, I’m excited to welcome Cherie Hoeger, Co-founder & CEO of Saalt, for a powerful conversation about entrepreneurship, motherhood, purpose, social impact, identity, and building a business that becomes bigger than you. Saalt, a women-owned B Corp creating reusable and sustainable period care products designed to replace disposable pads and tampons. An entrepreneur and philanthropist, Cherie champions the intersection of for-profit and nonprofit models through social enterprise and leads Saalt’s social impact mission to help end period poverty. Since launching in 2018, Saalt has donated more than 160,000 period cups and underwear to women and girls in 60 countries through its social give-back program. This episode is for you if:• You’re building a high-growth company but want your life to remain bigger than your business • You want to understand how purpose and profitability can coexist • You’re navigating the tension between entrepreneurship, motherhood, and personal identity • You want to build a company rooted in values rather than simply chasing revenue • You’re interested in social enterprise and creating measurable impact through business • You’re building for both financial success and meaningful legacy 🔥 Key TakeawaysGrowth changes the founder, too. An 8-figure business isn't simply the result of better strategies, systems, or execution. The journey requires founders to continually evolve their leadership, identity, priorities, and capacity alongside the company. Purpose and profitability don't have to be opposites. A business can pursue financial sustainability while also addressing meaningful social or environmental challenges. The question becomes how intentionally those values are embedded into the business model. Your values can become part of your business architecture. When the things you care about personally are reflected in the company's mission, products, culture, and impact strategy, the business can become an expression of something deeper than its financial performance. Legacy is bigger than what you accumulate. Revenue, valuation, and growth are measurable. But the impact a company has on people, communities, future generations, and the causes its founder cares about can become part of a much larger definition of success. From Survival to Sovereignty: Reclaiming the Woman Beneath the Roles You Learned to Play with Karen

What if being the woman everyone can depend on… has come at the cost of becoming the woman you actually want to be? ✨ Episode SummaryIn this episode of Voices of Impact, I’m excited to welcome Karen Roberts Forbes Mitchell, known as The Empress Lioness, for a powerful conversation about identity, survival, healing, purpose, leadership, and reclaiming the woman beneath the roles we learned to play. This episode is for you if: • You’ve become the person everyone depends on but rarely ask yourself what you need • You feel like you've lost parts of yourself inside your roles and responsibilities • You’re navigating a season of reinvention or questioning what comes next • You’re ready to examine the expectations and conditioning that have shaped your identity • You’re learning how to love and support others without abandoning yourself • You’ve built a life that looks successful but doesn’t necessarily feel fully aligned anymore • You’re ready to move beyond survival and consciously create your next chapter 🔥 Key Takeaways Survival can become an identity. The behaviors that help us navigate difficult seasons can eventually become the way we operate even when the circumstances have changed. Being dependable can come with a hidden cost. When you're constantly the person everyone turns to, it can become easy to prioritize everyone else's needs while disconnecting from your own. Strength doesn't require self-abandonment. You can lose yourself inside your roles. Mother. Partner. Daughter. Leader. Founder. Caregiver. Professional. The roles we carry can become so consuming that we forget there is a woman underneath all of them, with her own desires, dreams, needs, and identity. Healing can involve reclaiming your voice. Reconnecting with yourself can mean becoming willing to hear your own desires again—especially when you've spent years listening to expectations, responsibilities, and the needs of others. Sovereignty begins with remembering who you are. The journey isn't simply about becoming someone new. Sometimes it's about peeling back the expectations, conditioning, and roles until you can hear yourself clearly again. From Self-Made to Collective Impact: The Evolution of Conscious Wealth with Jen Conkey

What if the next level of wealth isn’t about how much you can build… but how much you can hold, leverage, and pass on? ✨ Episode SummaryIn this episode of Voices of Impact, I’m excited to welcome Jen Conkey for a powerful conversation about wealth, identity, & financial freedom. Jen Conkey is a multifamily investor, capital strategist, entrepreneur, and founder of the Remote Multifamily Investing Academy (RMFIA). After 22 years in corporate leadership, Jen transitioned fully into entrepreneurship and real estate, eventually building three multimillion-dollar companies and overseeing $100M+ in assets across multifamily, storage, hospitality, oil and gas, and more. This episode is for you if:• You’re building wealth but questioning what financial freedom actually means to you • You’re ready to examine the identity and beliefs shaping your relationship with money • You want to understand how investing can create leverage beyond your personal effort • You’re transitioning from success built through effort to success built through systems 🔥 Key TakeawaysWealth is more than accumulation. Building more money or assets doesn’t automatically create freedom. True wealth can also mean having the knowledge, systems, choices, and capacity to determine how you want to live and lead. Security and freedom are not always the same thing. It’s possible to become financially successful while still operating from the identity that says you need to keep pushing, proving, or accumulating. Leverage allows wealth to move beyond your personal effort. Systems, investments, relationships, and strategic assets can create opportunities for growth without requiring you to personally do more of everything. The ultimate shift can be from “I” to “we.” At a certain point, the question can evolve from How much can I create? to What can this create for others? Manifestation Meets Strategy: How I Rebuilt My Business From Hustle to Sovereign CEO in 90 Days

✨ Episode SummaryIn this deeply personal solo episode of Voices of Impact, I’m sharing how I rebuilt my business in 90 days—from a model rooted in hustle, overwork, and proving into one grounded in sovereignty, joy, alignment, and strategic growth. I didn’t need a better hustle strategy. I needed a different identity. I had to move beyond the traditional definition of entrepreneurial success and step into what I now call the Sovereign CEO, a leader who builds from alignment rather than pressure, strategy rather than chaos, and embodiment rather than constant striving. I had to get honest about what I wanted my business and my life to actually feel like: Joyful. Profitable. Spacious. Impactful. Sustainable. In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on that 90-day transformation and exploring what happens when manifestation meets strategy—when the energetic work of becoming meets the practical work of building. Because manifestation without action can remain a vision. And strategy without alignment can become another version of hustle. The Sovereign CEO integrates both. This episode is for you if:• You’re exhausted by the traditional hustle model • Your business is growing, but the way you’re building it no longer feels sustainable • You want more profit, impact, and freedom without sacrificing your joy • You know your next level requires an identity shift—not just another strategy • You’re ready to stop forcing and start leading from alignment 🔥 Key TakeawaysThe hustle identity has an expiration date. What gets you started may not be what gets you to your next level. Eventually, doing more can become the very thing preventing you from becoming the leader your business requires. Becoming a Sovereign CEO starts with identity. Sovereignty means no longer allowing fear, comparison, external expectations, or traditional business models to dictate how you lead. You begin making decisions from self-trust, clarity, and intention. Joy can coexist with serious growth. A thriving business doesn’t have to feel heavy. Growth, profitability, purpose, freedom, and joy can exist together when you build from a different foundation. Hustle → Alignment Proving → Embodiment Doing → Leading Force → Trust Scarcity → Expansion Entrepreneur → Sovereign CEO This became the foundation of the work I now teach through SOVEREIGN ALIGN™. 🎙️ About Your Host — Veena RamaswamyI’m a Strategic Advisor & Consultant, helping visionary CEOs and executives align identity, strategy, and presence to attract aligned opportunities and create real freedom. Through my SOVEREIGN ALIGN™ framework, I support leaders in moving beyond performance-driven leadership into grounded, integrated impact. Why Waiting for the Right Time Is Costing You Your Next Chapter with Gita

What if the “right time” you’re waiting for… is never going to arrive? ✨ Episode SummaryIn this episode of Voices of Impact, I’m excited to welcome Gita Poudel for a powerful conversation about timing, courage, career reinvention, visibility, leadership, and what it takes to stop delaying the chapter you already know you’re ready to begin. Gita is a Global HR Director, immigration advocate, multilingual leadership coach, founder, author, and certified paralegal with 20 years of experience across South Korea, Nepal, and the United States. She is also the founder of The Boardroom Brand, helping C-Suite executives strengthen their visibility and online presence, and WorkIQ AI, an AI-powered HR platform focused on compliance, culture, and leadership development. But beneath the titles and accomplishments is a question so many ambitious leaders eventually have to confront: How long are you going to wait before you decide you’re ready for what’s next? This episode is for you if:• You’ve been waiting for the “right time” to make a change • You know you’re ready for something different but keep second-guessing yourself • You’re trying to move forward while uncertainty is still present • You’re ready to create opportunities rather than waiting to be chosen 🔥 Key TakeawaysThe right time rarely arrives on its own. Waiting can feel responsible, but there is a point where preparation becomes postponement. Your next chapter may require a decision before you have complete certainty. Uncertainty doesn’t mean you’re unprepared. Reinvention often comes with unanswered questions. Instead of waiting for certainty, you can learn to build the confidence and capacity to move while the path is still unfolding. Visibility is part of career evolution. You don’t have to wait until you reach the next level to start positioning yourself for it. Building your presence and communicating your value can create opportunities before the traditional “credentials” catch up. Create the opportunity instead of waiting to be chosen. Sometimes the next chapter isn’t something you find; it’s something you build. Taking ownership of your direction allows you to move from waiting for permission to intentionally creating what comes next. The Courage to Be Known: Why Your Greatest Impact Begins When You Stop Hiding with Christine

What if the part of you you’re hiding… is actually the part that could create your greatest impact? ✨ Episode SummaryIn this episode of Voices of Impact, I’m excited to welcome Christine Blosdale, The Expert Authority Coach®, for a powerful conversation about visibility, authority, personal branding, and the courage to let yourself be fully seen. With more than 25 years of experience, Christine has helped coaches, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and authors become seen, trusted, and paid for what they already know. She is a five-time #1 bestselling author, award-winning media personality, and host of The Expert Authority Coach Podcast. Her latest book, The Expert Authority Code, became the #1 New Release in Amazon’s “Starting a Business” category. This episode is for you if: • You know you’re an expert but struggle to confidently position yourself as one • You’re visible online but still don’t feel truly recognized or remembered • You’re holding back your perspective because of fear of judgment or criticism • You’re waiting until your brand, message, or business feels “perfect” 🔥 Key TakeawaysYour expertise means little if people never know it exists. Being knowledgeable isn’t enough to create influence. Authority requires the courage to communicate what you know and allow others to associate your name with a clear area of expertise. Being visible isn’t the same as being memorable. You can post consistently and still blend into the noise. Becoming recognizable requires a distinct point of view, a clear message, and the willingness to consistently own what makes your perspective different. You don’t have to perform to build authority. True authority doesn’t require becoming someone else online. It comes from becoming more willing to express your actual expertise, experience, personality, and perspective. The thing you’re hiding may be part of your greatest impact. The experiences you’ve questioned, minimized, or kept private may contain wisdom that someone else desperately needs. Sometimes becoming known starts with allowing yourself to tell the truth about what you know. The Purpose-Profit Paradox: Why Businesses Don’t Have to Choose Between Impact and Growth with Josh

What if growing a profitable business and creating real impact… weren’t opposite goals? ✨ Episode Summary I’m excited to welcome Joshua Gould to Voices of Impact for a grounded conversation about growth, profitability, execution, technology, and what it really takes to build businesses that create both commercial success and meaningful impact. Joshua is a CEO, investor, and operator with a track record of scaling businesses through disciplined execution, value creation, M&A, and modern go-to-market strategy. As CEO of thebigword, he helped scale the global language technology and services company from $6M to more than $100M in revenue. But this conversation isn’t about chasing growth for growth’s sake. Impact without a sustainable business model can struggle to scale. How do we build businesses where sustainable profitability gives us the capacity to create greater impact? By the end of this episode, you’ll walk away with: • A more grounded perspective on purpose vs. profit • Insight into what sustainable scaling actually requires • A deeper understanding of operational discipline and leverage • Practical perspective on AI and technology as growth tools • A new lens on profitability as a vehicle for long-term impact 🔥 Key Takeaways Purpose needs a profitable foundation. A sustainable business creates the capacity to expand your impact. Scale requires more than ambition. Systems, execution, leadership, and operational discipline become increasingly important as complexity grows. Technology should create leverage. AI and automation are most powerful when they solve meaningful business problems rather than simply adding more complexity. Growth should create value—not just revenue. True expansion considers the long-term value being created for customers, teams, investors, and the broader ecosystem. Profitability can fuel purpose. The goal isn’t to choose between making money and making a difference—it’s to build a business capable of doing both sustainably.
