The Privilege: A Labor Day Terror

Episode Summary: An estimated 600,000 Black women have been pushed out of the labor market since January 2025, a damning statistic that shows the impacts of anti-DEI policies and deep federal job cuts.  Just in time for Labor Day, these serious statistics get combined with a supernatural scenario in “The Privilege: A Labor Day Terror.”  The spotlight of this story is on an MBA-holding operations executive named “Tiffany” who is at the mercy of targeted layoffs, predatory career coaches, and a dwindling 401K account. Tiffany pens a LinkedIn post that catches the attention of a tech bro-coded mogul named “Mark Tucker” who offers her a high-paying job and membership into his special program, The Privilege.  Little does Tiffany know, there is a much higher cost of admission than she could possibly imagine for Mark’s mentorship.  The episode stars Joanna Moore as “Tiffany” and Andrew Ryan as the mysterious, wealthy ally, “Mark Tucker.” Key members of our cast for this episode include T.J. Pryor-Wells, our charming, but creepy omniscient narrator “Greatmomma.”  Also marking her fifth consecutive appearance in the Home for the Holidays universe portraying both “The Tester” and “Coach Kayla” is voiceover veteran kittie KaBoom, aka the "Cita" in BET's groundbreaking "Cita's World."  For Fans Of: Workplace horror, workplace comedy, psychological horror, satire, social thrillers.
