As the Holy Spirit gives us revelation and understanding of God through His Word, we become more aware of who God is, what He has provided for us, and the resources available to us for life and godliness. That knowledge strengthens our inner man and gives us confidence to walk in God's will—even when our circumstances say otherwise. In This Episode, We Explore Why the Word carries powerHow the Holy Spirit strengthens our inner manHow revelation of the Word produces strengthWhy deeper knowledge of God empowers the believerHow the Word transforms our thinking and actionsHow the Word equips us to overcome challengesWhy consistency in the Word builds spiritual strengthThe Word does not simply tell us what to do. Season 3 Episode 22: The Word in Spiritual Authourity

In this episode, we explore how the Word of God operates in Spiritual Authority. Jesus demonstrated authority through His words — speaking to the fig tree, commanding the storm, confronting the enemy with “It is written,” and teaching His disciples to speak in faith. As believers, our authority is not based on our feelings, confidence, or ability. It comes from God and is exercised in alignment with His Word, the name of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit.   In This Episode, We Explore Authority is not something we create. We stand in the authority God has given us.   Scriptures Referenced Matthew 21:18–22 Mark 4:35–41 Matthew 28:18–19 2 Timothy 3:16 Hebrews 4:12    Key Takeaway Jesus spoke — and the fig tree responded. Jesus spoke — and the storm became calm. The believer must learn to know the Word, believe theWord, speak the Word, and stand on the Word in faith. Our confidence is not in ourselves. Our authority is anchored in Christ and His Word.  Weekly Challenge When you face a difficult situation this week: Find the Word concerning it.Believe it.Speak it.Stand on it. Respond with the Word rather than fear or doubt.   What’s Next In the next episode, we’ll explore: The Word That Empowers — how the Holy Spirit strengthens us from within through thetruth and revelation of God's Word. If this episode encouraged you, share it with someone whoneeds to be reminded of their authority in Christ 🤍

Season 3 Episode 19: Practising the Word

In Episode 19 we move from studying the Word to practising the Word. In the previous episode, we learned how to develop a Quiet Time with God by setting aside intentional time to study His Word, pray, worship, listen to the Holy Spirit, and make personal adjustments according to what He teaches us. But studying the Word is not the destination. God desires His Word to become visible in the way we live. We explore the journey from knowledge → understanding → wisdom, and why hearing and understanding God's Word must ultimately lead to obedience. James reminds us: “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only…” God does not want us to simply accumulate knowledge about His Word. He wants His Word to transform our lives. In This Episode, We Explore Why hearing and studying the Word are not enoughWhat it means to become a doer of the WordWhy Quiet Time should lead to personal adjustment and obedience How the Word moves from knowledge to understanding and then wisdom How the Holy Spirit helps us understand what we have studiedHow grace gives us the ability to carry out God's instructionsWhy the Word must enter our conversations, decisions, reactions, and everyday lifeHow small acts of obedience build a life that reflects God's Word Why the Holy Spirit helps us remember, practise, and live what God has taught usHow consistent obedience turns biblical knowledge into visible transformationThe goal is to become what the Word is teaching us. Scriptures Referenced James 1:22–25 Proverbs 3:19–20 Key Takeaway God's Word was never intended to remain as information inour notebooks. We study to receive knowledge. We meditate, and the Holy Spirit gives understanding. We receive grace to obey what God has revealed. And as we put His instruction into practice, we begin to walk in wisdom. Weekly Challenge Go back to something God has already shown you. Ask yourself: What do I know from this Word? What has the Holy Spirit helped me understand? What is God asking me to do? Then ask Him for the grace to obey. Choose one instruction and intentionally practise itthroughout the week. Don't only ask: “What did I learn?” Begin asking: “What am I going to do with what I have learned?” What's Next In the next episode, we'll explore: The Word That Manifests What happens when the Word we have studied, meditated upon, believed, and consistently practised begins to produce visible fruit in our lives? We'll explore how the Word moves from revelation toobedience and from obedience to manifestation.
