Vision

Vision Blind vision From intuition To indecision Becoming insecure By retreating from the cure Exploring the exterior Feeling inferior Dive inside Seeing the other side All the lies Within the mind Allow to subside From the hole in the head Rather than wind up dead Relief To real living Watching the leaves fall In the midst of the fall Still able to stand tall Through it all Feeling stuck in the cell Living through hell Strapped to a gurney Proceed in the journey Always in a hurry Take time to rest To be able to invest In the process While living in the present Relieved of all that I resent Shedding the pretense Disconnecting To connect & collect All there is to ingest As we digest the rest Making room for the fresh Breathing in the air Aspiring to inspire Inspiration sparking the passion Discovered in our own fashion Clothed in character Learning to love What's provided from above Abundance A fun dance As I abide Instead of deny The suggestions There shouldn't be any questions It's for our protection It's much better than what I've already ingested Pretension Causing tension Tense Sense Common sense What's common with the problem? Seeking the solution From confusion Insight In sight Prepared to fight For the right To spread the light Taking it to new heights Over the darkness Mending the madness As I continue to practice And value the assets That God has set Within my grasp Proceeding from the past Ending how long it will last Fast Forward, to reset what I resent The apologies sent Sending the message Cleansing the mess As I'm being pressed Realizing I'm blessed Not lessened From learning the lessons Through experience The greatest teacher So many tests To test abilities Respond to the abilities Creating responsibility Continuing to learn who I am to be From what God decrees

Thank You God For This Day The opportunity to learn Though it may burn As within begins to churn What can I earn? Help me God To continually Focus on You I can't do this on my own Help me to learn What are You teaching me? Help me to see clearly Vision in view What is that vision? Show me the clues Of where You're leading me to As You begin to glue The broken pieces of me back together Rearranged Rewired from the mess I've made Assemble to resemble The life of light Continuing to fight With the ending in sight I don't need to fight For You will provide my might As long as I'm willing to step towards the light

Thrive Letting go of the pain and the sorrow In sight of a better tomorrow Replacing the void with something new Infused with brighter visions in view Mustering up the courage to change Not to labor in vain My ways are flawed and failures But Yours shall reveal the answers Never to fully understand But always remember the scars on Your hands Consistent in effort to seek You No matter what obstacle we come to Discouraged at times But I, continue to thrive

Feeding The Fire Refusing to let the light burn out in this lifetime Let the burning embers ignite action With the wood & wind The flame shall sustain With continued maintenance Building up To burn bright The warm To comfort the chaos A sign To re-align with the design Division from the collision Enhancing decisions Embracing emotions Faced with the tears And all the memories through the years Memorializing to live on Long after their gone Brave through the brokenness In preparation for the test All along the quest A testament to growth Getting to be present The blessings heaven sent Mourning to motivate To not cycle in the same place Bettering the space in mind Translating the decay To find my way Continue to pray What can I say? Not my will, but Thine be done For this life shall not overcome

Why?!

Why?! A question with no need for an answer It's out of my control Advance in acceptance Receive what is decreed A nightmare of an outcome Paralyzing Analyzing Crying Goodbying Memorializing So much life left So many questions to ponder the mind racing endlessly in wonder A mystery of memories Musing Mentally drained Thoughts deranged Why does it continually rain? Remember the past Not to dwell in grief Continue to seek Life in the light Don't waste the time here Even as the scars sometimes sear No going back opening the wound For it will once again consume Proceed on to bloom In times of loss It can really straighten out perspective Life on earth, doesn't go on forever
