    Join The Info Pro Podcast hosts Rob Green and Rob Mackinlay as they look at the threats posed to Intellectual Freedom and explore the work of information professionals in protecting our right to access information. The two Rob's are joined by Dr David McMenemy, the inaugural Chair of CILIP's Intellectual Freedom Committee. David is Senior Lecturer in Information Studies at the University of Glasgow and has worked extensively on themes around Intellectual Freedom and the laws, ethics and values associated with it. David's Reveal project is a landmark toolkit for information professionals working in all sectors, which focuses advocacy for the profession and services. Grounded in the profession's ethical principles this work touches on Intellectual Freedom and access to information. CILIP's Intellectual Freedom page includes a number of resources to help you understand how your work can protect people's rights. CILIP's practical guide Managing safe and inclusive public library services is a free resource designed for public libraries, but with advice that can be applied in many library different library settings.
