The Philadelphia Eagles have to prove last week's embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears was a fluke — but they just got some BAD news ahead of their matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. DeVonta Smith is not expected to play Sunday, while Zack Baun has entered concussion protocol and is also unlikely to suit up. Dallas Goedert remains out, Hollywood Brown is out, and the Eagles are dealing with several other injuries heading into a massive Week 4 matchup. RB breaks down everything you need to know ahead of Eagles vs. Rams, including the latest injury news, the biggest matchup advantages and the major problems Philadelphia needs to fix. The Eagles' offense has been extremely inconsistent through the first three games. Philadelphia currently has the highest second-half three-and-out rate in the NFL, with 50% of its second-half drives ending in three-and-outs. The Eagles have also struggled badly in the third quarter, where 72.7% of their drives have ended in three-and-outs. RB explains why Philadelphia has to find a way to get its offense going after halftime and why the running game could be the key to making everything else work. Saquon Barkley is not washed. Despite his inconsistent production, Barkley has posted an average speed of 11.22 miles per hour when crossing the line of scrimmage, the second-fastest mark among 36 running backs with at least 25 carries. RB explains why the Eagles need to get Barkley downhill and create actual running lanes for their star running back. Jalen Hurts also needs to take another step. Former Eagles quarterback Nick Foles recently said Hurts needs to go through his progressions and find Makai Lemon when he is open. RB agrees that Hurts has to do a better job of getting the rookie involved and letting the ball rip. On the other side, the Rams could be getting Puka Nacua back to pair with Davante Adams, who has been one of the best receivers in football this season. RB also breaks down the matchup at cornerback, including the potential opportunity against Emmanuel Forbes, as well as the biggest question facing Philadelphia's offensive line. Can Cam Jurgens get healthy and protect Jalen Hurts? Can Drew Kendall continue his strong play at center? Can the Eagles finally generate pressure after recording just three sacks and zero takeaways through three games? Philadelphia is 4-0 against the Rams during the Nick Sirianni era, but RB believes this game is different. The Rams are 1-2, hungry for a win and coming off a tough loss of their own. The Eagles need a statement. Will Philadelphia bounce back and prove the Bears game was a fluke? Or will the Rams hand the Eagles another loss? Let us know your prediction in the comments. The Eagles NEED To Make 3 HUGE Changes After This...

After Monday night's embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia has several problems that can no longer be ignored. RB breaks down the biggest changes the Eagles should consider before their problems become even bigger. The first major change involves the safety position. RB has been warning about Philadelphia's safety situation for months, and Marcus Epps' struggles against Chicago only reinforced those concerns. Epps missed two tackles and allowed a 118.8 passer rating in the game, while Michael Carter performed better after taking over. RB believes the Eagles need to consider making Carter the full-time starter until they can find another option. There's also a potential change at linebacker. Jihad Campbell has struggled through the first three games, including allowing a 139 passer rating as the primary defender in coverage. RB believes Jeremiah Trotter Jr. has shown enough to deserve an opportunity if Campbell cannot turn things around. Then there's the offensive line. Cam Jurgens has struggled badly through the first three games, including allowing four pressures against Chicago. Meanwhile, Drew Kendall played well at center, leading RB to question whether the Eagles should consider making Kendall the full-time starter. RB also breaks down the Eagles' offensive struggles and one of the biggest things nobody is talking about. Philadelphia is the only team in the NFL that has not scored in the first quarter this season, while the Eagles have scored just six points in the third quarter. Their third-quarter offensive success rate is only 17.1%, compared to a 46% league average. Why has the Eagles' offense become so inconsistent? RB explains why Philadelphia needs to get back to attacking the middle of the field and why players like DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon need to be more involved. RB also reacts to Seth Joyner's claim about Sean Mannion calling plays from the coaching box and Nick Sirianni's influence over the offense. However, RB isn't completely convinced that Joyner's claim tells the whole story. With the Eagles preparing to face the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia needs to figure things out quickly. What changes should the Eagles make? Should Marcus Epps be benched? Should Jeremiah Trotter Jr. get a bigger role? Should Drew Kendall replace Cam Jurgens at center? And what needs to change about the offense? Let us know in the comments. The Eagles Just Got A HUGE Advantage Against The Bears...

The Philadelphia Eagles just got a HUGE advantage heading into Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears. Caleb Williams is officially out, and Case Keenum will start at quarterback for Chicago. But that's not the only major development for Philadelphia. Jonathan Greenard is expected to make his Eagles debut after dealing with a pectoral injury, giving Philadelphia's defensive line a much-needed reinforcement. RB breaks down both major updates and everything the Eagles need to do to move to 3-0. Case Keenum hasn't started a regular-season game since December 2023, and now he'll face an Eagles defense that desperately needs to generate more pressure and play better in the second half. RB explains why pressuring Keenum could be one of the biggest keys to the game, while also breaking down Chicago's biggest weapon: its rushing attack. The Bears have gotten strong production from D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai, and Philadelphia has allowed 132 rushing yards and 122 rushing yards through its first two games. If the Eagles can't stop Chicago's run game, Case Keenum could be given enough opportunities to keep the Bears in the game. The other major question is whether Philadelphia's own running game can finally get going. Saquon Barkley has averaged 4.8 yards per carry but has only 19 attempts for 92 yards through two games, and RB believes the Eagles need to establish the run and control time of possession. The battle in the trenches could ultimately decide this game. Philadelphia's offensive line will need to improve, while the Eagles' defensive line needs to finally generate consistent pressure. RB also explains why Chicago's offensive and defensive lines present an opportunity for Philadelphia. The Eagles are dealing with several other injury questions heading into Monday night, including DeVonta Smith, Cooper DeJean, Jalen Carter, Tank Bigsby, Saquon Barkley and Zach Ertz. Dallas Goedert, Fred Johnson and Hollywood Brown are out, while Will Shipley is limited. RB also looks at the possibility of Zach Ertz making his Eagles return and why Philadelphia needs him with Goedert unavailable. Finally, RB gives his official Eagles vs. Bears prediction. Will Philadelphia move to 3-0? RB's prediction: 🦅 Eagles 27 🐻 Bears 13 Let us know YOUR score prediction in the comments. Zach Ertz is officially back in Philadelphia, the Eagles just signed former Pro Bowl cornerback Kenny Moore, and RB believes another former Eagle could be next: Mekhi Becton. RB breaks down all three storylines and what they could mean for the Eagles moving forward. The Zach Ertz reunion is finally official after Dallas Goedert suffered another injury. Ertz is just 11 receptions away from becoming the Eagles' all-time receptions leader, and RB explains why Philadelphia made the move and whether Ertz could be ready to play against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. At 35 years old and coming off an ACL injury, there are legitimate questions about how much Ertz has left. But RB points to his production with Washington, including 654 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024 and 500 yards and four touchdowns in 2025 before his season-ending injury. The Eagles also signed Kenny Moore to a one-year deal worth up to $3 million. Moore is a former Pro Bowl cornerback with 21 career interceptions and 11.5 sacks, and RB explains why the signing could signal a major change in Philadelphia's secondary. Could Cooper DeJean be moving back to safety? RB believes that is a possibility, with Moore potentially taking over as Philadelphia's nickel corner and Marcus Epps potentially moving into a reduced role. Then there's Mekhi Becton. A fan asked Becton to return to Philadelphia, and Becton responded by telling them to have Howie Roseman call him. Becton was one of the best guards in the NFL during his 2024 season with the Eagles, but struggled after leaving Philadelphia. With Cam Jurgens continuing to struggle, RB believes the Eagles should take a chance on bringing Becton back. The video also breaks down some absolutely WILD statistics from Philadelphia's first two games. The Eagles have not gained a first down on first-and-10 through two games. They're the first team in 27 years to do that. Philadelphia ranks 32nd in yards per play on first down, 21st on second down and first on third down. And somehow, the Eagles are 2-0. RB explains why Jalen Hurts deserves enormous credit for continually bailing Philadelphia out and why these numbers could become a major problem against better teams. The Eagles have also gone 2-0 without forcing a single turnover, something only five teams in NFL history had previously accomplished. DeVonta Smith is another major positive. He currently ranks as the second-highest graded wide receiver in football, trailing only JSN, and RB believes Smith is on track for a breakout season. Finally, RB reacts to Jalen Hurts' mom defending her son on TikTok and declaring that her quarterback is more clutch than yours. The Eagles are 2-0, but Howie Roseman still has plenty of work to do. What do you think of the Zach Ertz reunion? Should the Eagles bring Mekhi Becton back? And should Cooper DeJean move back to safety? Let us know in the comments. The Eagles Just UNLOCKED Something HUGE... And Now They NEED Zach Ertz Back!

The Philadelphia Eagles are 2-0, and there are some very encouraging signs emerging from Sean Mannion's new offense. But after another Dallas Goedert injury, RB believes the Eagles now have an obvious move to make: bring Zach Ertz back to Philadelphia. RB breaks down why the Eagles' offense is showing HUGE potential through two games and why Mannion's system already looks significantly different from what Philadelphia had last season. The biggest difference is how the Eagles are using the middle of the field. Philadelphia is spreading the ball around, using more pre-snap motion, creating more deception and finding ways to incorporate multiple weapons into the offense. DeVonta Smith is being used differently, Dontayvion Wicks has emerged as a major receiving weapon, and the Eagles are creating more opportunities for their skill players. RB compares Sean Mannion's offense to Kevin Patullo's system from last season and explains why the Eagles finally appear to be getting more creativity and variety from their offensive scheme. But there is a major problem. Dallas Goedert is injured again, and the Eagles now have a significant need at tight end. RB believes Philadelphia should bring back former Eagles star Zach Ertz, who remains available. Ertz has the experience, familiarity with Philadelphia and receiving ability that the Eagles could use in Mannion's offense. Ertz is also just 11 receptions away from becoming the Eagles' all-time receptions leader. RB explains why he believes Howie Roseman needs to pick up the phone and make the move now. The video also breaks down Jalen Hurts' incredible response to Jeffrey Simmons, his clutch performance that helped the Eagles reach 2-0, and why Philadelphia needs to put the right system and protection around its quarterback. RB also takes a close look at the offensive line. Drew Kendall had a strong first start at center with 76 snaps and no penalties, while Cam Jurgens struggled badly at left guard. RB explains why Kendall could potentially become Philadelphia's long-term answer at center and why the Eagles need to fix their protection problems before facing better defenses. The Eagles' defense is another major concern. Philadelphia missed 12 tackles against Tennessee and allowed the Titans to stay in a game they statistically dominated. RB breaks down the defensive line, the Eagles' safety situation and why Vic Fangio's defense needs to improve as the schedule gets tougher. RB also looks ahead to Monday night's matchup with the Chicago Bears and Caleb Williams, who is dealing with a Grade 1 hamstring injury. The Eagles are 2-0, but there are still plenty of questions to answer. Is Sean Mannion unlocking the Eagles' offense? Should Howie Roseman bring Zach Ertz back? And can Philadelphia fix its offensive line and defensive issues before the schedule gets tougher? Let us know what you think in the comments. The Eagles Have A HUGE Advantage Over The Titans... But Jalen Hurts Got DISRESPECTED!

The Philadelphia Eagles are heading to Tennessee for Week 2 looking to move to 2-0, and RB is breaking down the biggest matchups, injury updates and storylines heading into Sunday's game. Philadelphia has a major talent advantage over the Titans, but there is one matchup that could make things much more difficult: Jeffrey Simmons vs. the Eagles' offensive line. With Landon Dickerson out, Drew Kendall is expected to have a huge opportunity against Simmons, who recorded 11 sacks last season and is one of the most disruptive interior defensive linemen in the NFL. RB explains why this could be the biggest matchup of the game and why the Eagles must protect Jalen Hurts, establish the run and control the line of scrimmage. But Jeffrey Simmons has also given Jalen Hurts some extra motivation. Simmons said the Titans need to "make Jalen be a quarterback" by stopping his runs and preventing him from escaping the pocket. RB believes the comments were disrespectful toward Hurts and argues that the numbers don't support the idea that Hurts can't beat a defense from the pocket. Hurts threw three touchdowns from the pocket in Week 1 and posted a 106.9 passer rating from the pocket. RB also points back to Hurts' previous game against Tennessee, when he completed 27 of 33 passes for 370 yards and three touchdowns. The Eagles' new offense could also be a major factor. Sean Mannion used pre-snap motion on 62.5% of Philadelphia's snaps in Week 1, the highest rate of the Nick Sirianni era. RB believes the motion, play action and other offensive creativity could create major problems for Tennessee's defense. The extreme heat in Nashville is another factor. Temperatures are expected to approach 100 degrees, and the Eagles are traveling a day early to acclimate. RB expects the heat to potentially make the beginning of the game sloppy but doesn't believe it will ultimately prevent Philadelphia from winning. RB also breaks down the latest Eagles injury news, including Jonathan Greenard's progress, Jalen Carter's wrist injury, Cooper DeJean's calf and abdomen issues and Drew McCubbin's return to practice. Other key matchups include Cooper DeJean vs. Wan'Dale Robinson, the Eagles' defensive line vs. Tennessee's offensive line and Philadelphia's pass rush against rookie quarterback Cam Ward. RB believes the Eagles have too much talent for Tennessee to keep this game close. His final prediction: 🦅 Eagles 27 🏈 Titans 6 Will Philadelphia move to 2-0? This Eagles News Changes EVERYTHING… But There’s A Clear SOLUTION vs Titans!

Landon Dickerson is on injured reserve, and the Philadelphia Eagles must make an offensive line decision before Jalen Hurts and Sean Mannion face the Tennessee Titans in Week 2. A to Z Sports Philly creator RB joins Austin Stanley and Ryan Roberts for an Eagles and Titans crossover discussion. The Eagles opened their season with a 24–22 win over the Washington Commanders, and Hurts threw three touchdowns without an interception in Mannion’s first game calling plays. RB liked the new pre-snap movement and the structure of the offense. But Philadelphia also needed explosive plays and several remarkable Hurts escapes to overcome stalled drives, pressure and a running game that struggled to find consistent space. 0:00 Eagles-Titans crossover and Week 1 setup 1:19 RB’s first impression of Sean Mannion’s offense 2:26 Questions about the Eagles’ receivers 3:09 Makai Lemon’s overlooked block 4:22 Explosive plays versus stalled Eagles drives 5:45 Was the offensive line the real problem? 7:52 Why Philadelphia kept falling behind schedule 9:19 Landon Dickerson to injured reserve 11:07 Can the Eagles adjust without Jeff Stoutland? 13:02 Kalshi sponsor segment 14:40 Austin’s view of the Titans after Week 1 17:25 Jeffery Simmons versus the Eagles’ reshuffled line 19:17 Brian Daboll and Cam Ward’s Week 1 struggles 20:53 Could the Titans upset the Eagles? 21:13 Nashville conditions for traveling Eagles fans 22:32 Ryan’s upset prediction 23:05 Final thoughts The crew breaks down what worked in Mannion’s debut, including Hurts’ downfield connection with Dontayvion Wicks, Dallas Goedert’s two-touchdown performance and a key block by rookie receiver Makai Lemon on Hurts’ third-and-18 scramble. They also examine why the Eagles too often fell behind schedule and whether the problems came from the offensive line, the run game, negative plays or a combination of all three. Dickerson’s placement on injured reserve makes that discussion more urgent. Could Drew Kendall take over at left guard? How does Willie Lampkin factor into Philadelphia’s options? RB explains why the line’s Week 1 play concerned him even before Dickerson’s absence and why this is an important early test for the Eagles without longtime offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland. Then Austin provides the view from Nashville. The Titans lost 23–10 to the New York Jets in their opener, and their defensive front failed to deliver the impact expected from Jeffery Simmons, John Franklin-Myers and Robert Saleh’s defense. Can a frustrated Titans front create trouble for Philadelphia’s reshuffled line? Austin also explains what surprised him about Brian Daboll’s first game coordinating Tennessee’s offense and where Cam Ward must improve. Finally, Austin, RB and Ryan give their views on Tennessee’s upset chances and discuss the conditions Eagles fans traveling to Nashville could face on Sunday. The Eagles Have A HUGE Problem After Week 1... But This Defensive Star Made A STATEMENT!

The Philadelphia Eagles are 1-0, and RB is breaking down the biggest takeaways from Philadelphia's Week 1 win over the Washington Commanders. While Jalen Hurts once again proved why he is one of the NFL's best quarterbacks, RB believes one Eagles defender deserves far more recognition after an incredible performance. That player is Zack Baun. Baun has quickly become one of the most important pieces of Vic Fangio's defense. After making the transition to linebacker, Baun has developed into a complete player who can defend, blitz, tackle and impact the game in multiple ways. Against Washington, Baun continued to show why he may be one of the biggest hidden gems in the NFL. RB explains why Baun fits Fangio's system perfectly and why he could eventually receive Defensive Player of the Year consideration. RB also breaks down the Eagles' dominant cornerback performance. Quinyon Mitchell and Riq Woolen locked down one of the NFL's best receivers in Terry McLaurin, combining to allow only three catches for 16 yards on eight targets. RB explains why Philadelphia may have the best cornerback trio in the NFL. Jalen Hurts is also a major focus. After another offseason filled with criticism, Hurts once again proved his doubters wrong. RB breaks down Hurts' improved downfield passing, his ability to attack the middle of the field and the biggest play of the game — his 22-yard scramble on third-and-18 that helped set up the game-winning touchdown. The video also covers the Eagles' biggest concern after Week 1: the offensive line. Landon Dickerson struggled against Washington, and RB explains why Philadelphia needs to monitor the situation closely. While it is only one game, the Eagles' success is directly tied to the offensive line's ability to protect Hurts and create opportunities in the running game. RB also discusses: 🦅 Sean Mannion's first game as offensive coordinator 🦅 Makai Lemon's rookie debut 🦅 The Eagles' improved use of motion and play action 🦅 The Cowboys' disappointing Week 1 performance 🦅 Why Philadelphia has reason to be excited moving forward The Eagles are 1-0, but there is still plenty to improve. 0:00 Eagles Are 1-0 + Biggest Week 1 Takeaways 0:27 Cooper DeJean's Rough Game & Accountability 1:10 Eagles Cornerbacks Are ELITE 2:17 Vic Fangio's Defensive Masterclass 3:17 The Eagles Have A HUGE Offensive Line Problem 5:42 Landon Dickerson's Future Is A Concern 6:19 Jalen Hurts Proves The Doubters Wrong 7:33 The 22-Yard Run That Changed Everything 8:38 Zach Baun Is A Defensive Superstar 10:09 Eagles Rookie Makai Lemon's Debut 11:07 Sean Mannion's Offense Shows Promise 12:10 Cowboys Get A Reality Check 13:13 Final Thoughts + Eagles Are 1-0 Subscribe to A to Z Sports Philly for daily Eagles news, analysis, reactions and coverage throughout the NFL season. #PhiladelphiaEagles #Eagles #JalenHurts #ZackBaun #FlyEaglesFly
