You Don’t Have to Have It All Together | MODGNIK | Week 5

What if God isn’t looking for a better version of you, but the real you?In Week 5 of MODGNIK, we explore the “I” in our upside-down Kingdom: Inviting. Jesus consistently welcomed people others overlooked, valued authenticity over appearances, and made it clear that everyone has a place in His Kingdom.Through stories from Luke 18, we discover a powerful truth: God responds to real. You don’t need the perfect prayer. You don’t need to have your life figured out. You don’t need to look like you have it all together. You can come to God exactly as you are—with your questions, struggles, doubts, hopes, and need for help. And because we've experienced that kind of welcome, we're called to extend it to others. This week, who can you invite?Someone who doesn't think they measure up.Someone who needs help.Someone who needs to know Jesus.Someone who simply needs to know they belong. The Kingdom of God is upside down and there is room for you!Find out more about The Village https://www.thevillagechristianchurch... Why Do We Worship God? | MODGNIK | Week 4

What is worship really about—and why does it matter? In Week 4 of our MODGNIK series, we explore what it means to put the focus where it belongs: Not to us, but to God.Whether you grew up singing hymns, sitting quietly in church, or worshiping with a full band, this message explores three important questions:Why do we worship? Because God is holy. How do we worship? With our whole selves—through singing, celebration, surrender, prayer, and praise.Who do we worship? Jesus, the name above every other name.Worship isn't about a particular style or musical preference. It's about recognizing who God is and responding to His greatness.“Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory...” — Psalm 115:1Discover why there is no name greater than the name of Jesus—and why He is worthy of our worship.Find out more about The Village https://www.thevillagechristianchurch... The Secret To A More Generous Life | MODGNIK | Week 3

What if the key to a fuller, more meaningful life isn't getting more, but giving more?In this message from our MODGNIK series, we explore Jesus' radically different approach to greatness, service, and generosity. While the world tells us to put ourselves first, Jesus invites us to descend into greatness by serving others and letting generosity flow through every part of our lives. We’ll look at what it means to be generous with our time, talents, and treasure, and discover why Jesus says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”Generosity isn't simply about money. It's about becoming the kind of person who uses what God has given us to love people, serve others, and make a difference. What could change in your life if generosity became a way of living—not just something you occasionally do?Find out more about The Village https://www.thevillagechristianchurch... The Upside-Down Way To Live | MODGNIK | Week 1

What if the best way to live is completely backwards from what the world tells us?Welcome to MODGNIK, “Kingdom” spelled backwards, a new series exploring the upside-down Kingdom of God and the radically different way Jesus calls us to live.In this message, we discover what it looks like to follow Jesus by living with less, putting others first, descending into greatness, living generously, giving God the credit, inviting others in, and following a King who chose a cross. The Kingdom of God isn't about climbing higher, gaining more, or making life all about us. It's about surrender, serving, generosity, humility, and becoming more like Jesus. What would change if you started living life God’s way instead of the world’s way?Join us as we step into the upside-down Kingdom of God.Find out more about The Village https://www.thevillagechristianchurch... What If Prayer Isn’t What You Think? | I Love My Church | Everybody Prays

Does prayer make you nervous? Maybe you’re not sure what to say, how to pray, or whether you’re even doing it right. What if prayer isn’t about finding the perfect words—but about learning to listen? In this message, we look at the story of Samuel and discover three simple ways to rethink prayer: start by listening, find a place to pray, and focus less on getting God to do what you want and more on discovering what He wants you to do.Prayer isn’t about performing for God or having all the answers. It’s an invitation to slow down, listen, share your heart, and allow God’s peace to shape your heart and mind.If you’ve ever wondered how to pray—or simply want to grow in your prayer life—this message is for you.Speak, Lord. Your servant is listening.Find out more about The Village https://www.thevillagechristianchurch... FOLLOW US Facebook   / thevillagechristianchurch   Instagram   / villagechristianchurch
