10: She Was 14 When Everything Changed: Tatiana's Journey to IVF & Twins

At just 14 years old, Tatiana experienced a medical procedure that would change the way she thought about motherhood long before she was ready to become a mom. She learned early that when the time came, getting pregnant might not be easy. But knowing infertility might be part of your future and actually living through it are two very different things. In this powerful episode of Suddenly Infertile, Tatiana takes us through the unexpected twists of her journey, from navigating relationships and divorce to finding love again with a partner who embraced her story without judgment. She opens up about what it was like telling the man who would become her husband that conceiving a child could be difficult and that they might need fertility treatment to build their family. Then came the reality of IVF and figuring out how to afford it. Tatiana shares the extraordinary lengths she went to for the chance to become a mother, including working multiple jobs to help pay for treatment and seeking donated IVF medications when the financial burden became overwhelming. Her story is about so much more than IVF. It’s about starting over. Sacrifice. Partnership. Community. Advocating for the family you dream of and continuing to move forward when the path to motherhood looks nothing like you imagined. And eventually, that winding road led Tatiana to twins.  In this episode, we talk about receiving life-changing fertility information as a teenager, dating while knowing conception could be difficult, divorce and remarriage, finding a supportive partner, the financial realities of IVF, asking for help, and what it took emotionally and financially to keep pursuing motherhood. Whether you’re wondering how you’ll afford your next treatment, navigating infertility while dating or married, or simply trying to hold onto hope when the journey feels impossible, Tatiana’s story is one you don’t want to miss! 🎧 Listen to Season 2, Episode 2 of Suddenly Infertile wherever you get your podcasts. 7: Faith and Infertility: What Hannah Taught Me About Waiting

Mother’s Day can feel beautiful, heartbreaking, complicated… or all three at once. In this deeply personal episode of the Suddenly Infertile Podcast, I open up about what it feels like to navigate infertility on a day that can magnify grief, longing, and disappointment. I share honestly about wanting to hide, struggling to stay present, and learning how to hold both joy for others and sadness for myself at the same time. Through Hannah’s journey with infertility, we talk about faith, waiting, surrender, and what happens when your relationship with God shifts from transactional faith to real trust. If you’ve ever asked: “Why me?”“Why hasn’t God answered my prayer?”“How do I keep believing while I’m hurting?”…this episode is for you. ☕ In this week’s Sis, What’s the Tea? segment, we also discuss the lawsuit against the Pasadena Black Infant Health Program and the larger conversation surrounding Black maternal health, healthcare disparities, and why programs designed for underserved communities exist. 5: A Grown Woman's Battle In A Little Girls Body: Part 5 When Infertility Enters A Marriage

In this special episode of Suddenly Infertile, I’m joined by a very important guest — my husband. Together we open up about our journey through infertility from both perspectives. We talk about how we met, when I shared my diagnosis of Primary Ovarian Insufficiency, and what it has looked like navigating infertility as a married couple. During the conversation, my husband shares his honest feelings about what infertility has been like for him as a partner, the emotional challenges men often face but rarely talk about, and how couples can support their wives and each other through such a difficult and uncertain season. We also share some exciting and hopeful news that we were recently awarded a fertility grant and are currently in the process of preparing for the next step in our journey. While we are grateful to share parts of this experience, we also ask for understanding as some details of this process may remain private as we move forward. This episode is a reminder that infertility is not just an individual experience, but something that impacts couples and families. Our hope is that this conversation encourages honesty, compassion, and support for anyone walking a similar path. You can follow the journey and connect with me on Instagram @SuddenlyInfertile. 3: A Grown Woman's Battle in a Little Girl's Body: Part 3 What Broke Me, Built Me

In this deeply personal episode of Suddenly Infertile, I open up about the experiences that shaped me. From my college years to my first marriage, divorce, and the devastating loss of my father, this episode traces the emotional groundwork that made my diagnosis feel like both a breaking point and a revelation. This is a story about growing up too fast in a body that couldn’t keep up. About grief layered on grief. About trying to be strong while quietly unraveling. And about realizing that infertility doesn’t begin at a diagnosis—it often shows up after years of survival, loss, and unanswered prayers. We also spill some necessary tea: infertility discrimination is illegal. Just like pregnancy, infertility is protected under federal law, and employees undergoing fertility treatment have rights to reasonable accommodations at work. If you believe you are experiencing infertility discrimination, you can learn more and file a claim with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC): 🔗 Learn more: https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/guidance/pregnancy-discrimination-and-related-issues🔗 File a claim: https://www.eeoc.gov/employees/charge.cfm If you’ve ever felt like a grown woman trapped in a little girl’s body…If you’ve ever grieved a life you thought you’d have…If you’ve ever wondered how much one heart can hold… This episode is for you. ✨ Follow the journey on Instagram: @suddenlyinfertile🎙️ Interested in being a guest on the show?
