The AudioZoo Podcast Drama Network

AudioZoo Podcast Drama Network Back in the day, radio dramas were called Theatre of the Mind; listening audiences could close their eyes and visualize the stories unfold in their heads as the audio played. Today, we have smartphones, the new entertainment platform of choice, a platform designed to deliver the rebirth of this immersive experience. The AudioZoo Podcast Drama Network is powered by a small, creative, and talented team of writers, sound designers, musicians, and voice actors who are passionate about delivering immersive and powerful entertainment experiences. You, the listener, are as much a part of the experience as we are, because everyone will interpret and visualize the episodes in their own unique way. Our stories are not for everyone. These are gritty adult-oriented tales of crime, intrigue, and struggle, all with a dash of dark humour and suspense.  Each Series is divided into Seasons, which are subdivided into Episodes. Some series, like The Collector, have as many as eighteen episodes, while others, like The Penny Dreadful Gazette, have fewer. We welcome your feedback and comments, as they help us deliver the kind of stories you want to hear. The following podcast dramas are intended for mature audiences and contain graphic violence, explicit language, and adult themes. Listener discretion is advised.

    EPISODE 1

S1E1 The Collector: Dead Men Can't Pay

The Collector: Season One Meet Joey Sokoloff, a collector, like his associate, Louie Zoboli. Both men work for mobster Momo Kastle. Joey is a nice guy, not a good guy. He’s smart, stylish, and sophisticated, especially when it comes to women and music. Joey isn't averse to violence, but he’d prefer negotiation. He’s a problem solver, and the problem at hand is money.   It seems Louie got carried away when trying to collect a debt from sleazy bar owner, Ozzy Bianchi. Now, Ozzy is dead, and Joey has to find a way to clean up the mess and get Momo paid. The situation is further complicated by the fact that Ozzy owed money to a Chinese mobster, the beautiful and sexy Toni Tang. And as far as Toni is concerned, Ozzy’s debt is now Joey’s. And so our story begins.
