I put the fun in dysfunctional.

In this episode, we’re going way beyond the surface. What starts as a look at how close our phones are compared to a good book turns into a full-hearted celebration of living life for you- not external expectations, and definitely not unsolicited opinions. From getting that post-run dopamine hit, loving the sweat, and going back to padel tennis, to dealing with body dysmorphia and standing firm in absolute self-love - this episode is a reminder that your body and your life belong to you. We talk about picking back up the creative projects we put on hold, making room for fun, making books easier to reach, and writing a narrative that external factors can't break. In this episode: Creation vs. Consumption: Reclaiming your attention (and putting books closer than your phone).Movement for Joy: Why I run for the dopamine, the sweat, and the heart-racing feeling- not for anyone else’s standards.Body Positivity & Self-Love: Shutting out external noise and loving the body that moves you through life.Unfinished Projects & Pure Fun: Returning to what you paused and remembering why you started.Creating Your Own Narrative: Doing you, unapologetically.Press play for an honest, energizing reset on self-love, movement, and making life fun again. What If The Life You Prayed For Is Already Here? (Rebuilding Discipline Without Burnout)

Welcome to episode 33 of Season 3 Beyond comfort zone podcast! You do not need to keep fighting for a reality that has already arrived. If you’ve been feeling burned out, scattered, or oddly tense- even after things start going right- this episode offers a grounding reset on how to rebuild discipline without slipping into perfectionism, pressure, or all-or-nothing thinking. In this episode, I open up about a season of forced slowing down, dealing with grief and a frustrating episode-editing setback, and navigating the emotional shifts of the Full Moon in Aries. If astrology or energy talk isn't usually your thing, here is the simple breakdown of what this energy actually means in real life: The Full Moon in Aries: A full moon always represents a moment of culmination- the peak harvest point of something you’ve been building over time. Aries is the fire sign of action, courage, and self-identity. When a full moon hits Aries, it shines a spotlight on your growth and asks: Who are you now that the chase is over?? Understanding Culmination: It’s the moment an effort reaches its natural completion. It’s the shift from striving to get somewhere to finally standing in the room you built. The Reality of Willpower: We often blame ourselves for lacking 'willpower' when we get exhausted. But willpower isn't an endless muscle- it’s a finite daily fuel tank. When you’re juggling school, work, and personal goals, relying on pure willpower causes burnout. True discipline isn't about forcing yourself harder; it's about building friction-free environments that support you. In this episode, I unpack: Why your internal nervous system can lag behind your external success-and why peace can feel uncomfortable when you’re used to surviving. Beating decision fatigue through simple evening/morning or short break-mindful routines that protect your mental energy. The' Minimum Viable Effort' rule and why discipline isn't about never skipping a day, but about never skipping two days in a row. How keeping tiny, micro-promises to yourself builds undeniable evidence for genuine self-belief. How to stop gripping your reality so tightly and give yourself permission to flow through what you’ve built. If you’re juggling work, study, creative ventures, and the pressure to hold it all together, tune in for a calmer, more sustainable way to stay disciplined while honoring your rest. Welcome and thank you for listening. Journal Prompts shared in this episode:- 1.Where in my life I'm i still operating in hustle mode even though the situation has already changed or stabilized? 2. What am i holding on to so tightly out of fear of loosing it and what would it look like to trust my capacity to hold it loosely instead ? 3. If i stopped planning the next phase for just 5 minutes today, what current win or answered prayer could i fully allow myself to feel and enjoy right now? Grief, Uncertainties, Manifestations, Merch & Gratitude: Losing is Actually Gaining

Welcome to Season 3, Episode 32 of the Beyond Comfort Zone Podcast! In this episode, I reflect on a week filled with heavy realignments, deep vulnerability, and making peace with things beyond my control. When you get pushed to your edge, you realize there’s only one real choice left: to let go. This doesn't mean that you're done grieving- Grieving doesn't have a timeline- Its the first step to acceptance of what the reality is- It does not invalidate your feelings. We explore the truth that losing is actually gaining, and that when things come to an end, it’s not a failure- it simply means they have reached their completion. I also dive into what it takes to show up for new challenges-from recent driving classes to sports like padel tennis, roller skating, and skateboarding. Every new skill, game, or mobility tool humans create is ultimately a mental game. Hitting a ball, holding a racket, or navigating a vehicle requires raw discipline, body awareness, and absolute presence. Finally, I honor and pay homage to those who came before us- the ones who paved the way and made it just a little easier for us to learn, move, and grow today. I am deeply grateful. One more act of Choosing Yourself Before the World Blows

Choosing Yourself Before the World Blows When being yourself starts to feel like a constant fight, the problem isn’t you- it’s the environment around you. Lately, I’ve been listening to Erykah Badu and The Alchemist’s collaborative album, Before the World Blows dropped in Aug 28 2026 - and all the teasers she put out, Watching Erykah's interview on Apple Music with Zane Lowe- and her poetic game of adding " One more ' thing' before the world blows" to everything- inspired the title for this episode: one more act of choosing yourself before the world blows. Set against a week that felt like an emotional roller coaster, I'm opening up about navigating uncertainty, exhaustion, and what it really means to keep choosing yourself when the spaces around you punish individuality. From the subtle strain of performative care to the false security of systems that preach support while causing harm, this conversation is a raw, grounded reflection on self-preservation, boundaries, and reclaiming peace. In this episode, we unpack: Why autonomy feels unsafe in unhealthy or restrictive environments How shrinking yourself to fit in fuels quiet burnout The vital difference between genuine support and performative care How to stay grounded and protect your energy when life feels loud and chaotic Reclaiming self-celebration, wholesome music, and women-led community as acts of resistance If a space makes it hard to simply exist as you are, it’s time to question the room- not your worth.
