Join me on this podcast journey as I explore radical rest, sacred rhythm, easeful yoga, nature rewilding and divine soul purpose. The goal of this podcast is to help women shift from worry to wonder, irritation to interest, stagnation to stamina, and separation to connection. Wisdom for Women from Yoga and Ayurveda will inspire women to transform knowledge into wisdom through deep rest, wonder, and lived experience.

E79| Season 1 Rested Woman Conversations with Margaret James

Episode 79 - Rested Woman Conversation with Margaret James  In this 35-minute episode, I sit down and chat with Margaret on rest and reading. In her words: "....in a lot of the books that we're reading there are young women who didn't know that they had power inside of them until something happened. And then all of a sudden it's a huge becoming into what was already within them. And so it's a really great reminder for me that there's already a power within me to enact change in my own life. It's really nice because, instead of scrolling on social media and getting bombarded left and right and beaten over the head with all the things that are happening, which doesn't feel restful, reading has been a space for me to become immersed in another world...." E76| Season 1 Rested Woman Conversations with Juliana Sloan

Episode 76 - Rested Woman Conversation with Juliana Sloan.   In this 35-minute episode, I sit down and chat with Juliana Sloan about rest, non-profits, and the weight of urgency. In her words: "in the nonprofit sector, there is often a sense of urgency. There's not enough time. There are not enough resources. Whether you're a woman in some other career or staying at home with kids, we live in a culture of urgency. And I think part of what is so essential and a challenge for all of us, I think, no matter how advanced in meditation or yoga or other wellness practices we are, is how do we actually start to discern what is truly urgent? And what is this false sense of urgency that's baked into so much of our culture?"  Juliana is a certified Depth Hypnosis Practitioner and Applied Shamanic Practitioner, trained by Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D. She works with clients using Depth Hypnosis, Coaching for the Unconscious Mind and Shamanic Journey Work. Episode 75 - Rested Woman Conversation with Stacey Bonham In this 35-minute episode, I sit down and chat with Stacey about exhaustion and chronic illness. In her words: "....getting this illness really proved to me that my lifestyle wasn't sustainable. I was busy - Every second of every day was scheduled. And I felt so powerful. I really did, until this illness knocked me on my butt and I knew everything had to change." Learn more about Stacey's company & products at Bare Assembly. My personal faves include the magnesium cream, gentle clay face wash & face serum.  The Wisdom for Women from Yoga & Ayurveda Podcast is sponsored by the Easeful Yoga Lifestyle Collective(EYLC).
