Cell Danger Response: Why Healing Gets Stuck

In this solo episode of The Balancing Point, I continue my series on Cell Danger Response and explain why chronic illness may sometimes reflect a healing process that is never fully completed. We look at how mitochondria shift from energy production into defense mode, why inflammation can persist, and how infections, toxins, nutrient problems, and nervous system dysregulation may keep the body stuck in a prolonged danger state. - - - - - About the Host: John is nationally and internationally known for treating chronic and degenerative health conditions known as "knotty" diseases in Chinese Medicine. He has also written the definitive book, "The Sweet Spot: Increase Longevity Through Innovative Understanding of Blood Chemistry Labs," on advanced functional medicine laboratory analysis. John has completed extensive post-graduate training. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics. Additionally, he completed certifications in Gynecology and Internal Medicine at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in China. Dr. Nieters was in the first group of American acupuncturists to be certified in Integrated Diabetes Prevention and Treatment at the Xin Hua Hospital, China. Dr. Nieters has taught international courses in Integrative Cardiology. As a teacher of herbal medicine, he has developed mastery in creating custom herbal formulas. Mastering the Qi in Qigong

In this episode of The Balancing Point, I sit down with longtime friend and martial arts master Sifu Scott Jensen to explore the deeper side of Qigong. Scott shares how he rebuilt his body after two devastating car accidents, eventually becoming a Tai Chi gold medalist at Wudang Mountain. We discuss Qi, blood, posture, breathing, internal power, healing, and what it truly means to move beyond gentle exercise into deeper Qigong practice. - - - - -  Sifu Scott Jensen is an international Gold Medalist, master teacher, and founder of the 10,000 Victories School of Martial Arts. Cell Danger Response Through the Lens of Chinese Medicine

In this episode, I explore the striking parallels between Cell Danger Response and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
