    Mary Kate Morrissey (Wicked, Mean Girls)

    Mary Kate Morrissey refuses to be defined by just one creative box. She is a Broadway powerhouse, a passionate golfer, one of my favorite social media follows, and a self-proclaimed “grown-up clown” fashionista. Mary Kate made her Broadway debut as the full-time Elphaba the same year the Wicked movie hit theaters. We chat about the lessons she learned playing Janis in Mean Girls, her passion for vintage fashion, what it was like singing “For Good” alongside Kristin Chenoweth in honor of composer Stephen Schwartz, and what she took away from the early workshops of Fun Home.     Elizabeth Teeter (The Hairy Ape, Heathers, Beetlejuice)

    Liana Hunt (The Play That Goes Wrong, Back to the Future)

    Liana Hunt has brought some of Broadway’s most memorable characters to life, from Lorraine Baines McFly in Back to the Future: The Musical to Katherine Plumber in Newsies, Sophie in Mamma Mia!, and Nessa Rose in Wicked! Currently, she is cracking audiences up 8x a week, playing Sandra in The Play That Goes Wrong at New World Stages.     Amy Marie Seidel (The Great Gatsby, Here There Are Blueberries)

    Amy Marie Seidel is a director and dramaturg whose work spans Broadway and beyond. On Broadway, she was the assistant director for Paradise Square and The Great Gatsby. Amy is now part of Tectonic Theater Project’s team behind Here There Are Blueberries, a new play coming to Broadway this fall. We talk about how Jeremy Jordan’s iconic Great Gatsby fall came to be, the moment Amy found out Here There Are Blueberries was a Pulitzer Prize finalist, and how clothes and hair have become a sort of armor for her throughout her journey of earning respect as a young female director.     Lilia Buckingham (Hocus Pocus 2) & Emma Garner (Meet Me in Five)

    This week on Dressed Rehearsal, we’re celebrating emerging theater creatives with Behind the Seams Week, spotlighting the up-and-coming artists working backstage and behind the scenes to make theater magic happen. Today’s guests are Lilia Buckingham and Emma Garner. Lilia is a performer and producer who you may know from starring alongside Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy in Hocus Pocus 2 or from her seriously epic fashion moments on social media.     Elizabeth Stanley (Disruption, Jagged Little Pill)

    Today’s guest is Tony Award nominee Elizabeth Stanley! A Broadway veteran, Elizabeth has starred in productions including Jagged Little Pill, Company, Million Dollar Quartet, and many more. She’s currently appearing Off-Broadway in the new play Disruption, running at the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center through October 4.In this episode, Elizabeth shares what she learned from working with Alanis Morissette on Jagged Little Pill, takes us behind the scenes of Liza Minnelli’s 80th birthday celebration at Carnegie Hall, and talks about how fashion has become an extension of her creative expression.
