    Mets Salvage Finale vs Seattle, Need Length from Starting Pitchers

    The New York Mets salvaged the series finale vs the Mariners on Wednesday afternoon in a day that saw Bo Bichette go 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs. The Mets won 7-1 and Freddy Peralta went six innings, only the second time a Mets starter or bulk reliever has done that since Clay Holmes went down. That is a key to their season moving forward. Can they get length out of their starters? How confident am I that they're going to be able to do that? Find out on this episode. Also, Jorge Polanco is close to returning. What should the Mets do with him and what should the roster move be to add him to the roster? I think my opinion may shock some people. Plus we look ahead to three games in San Diego.

    Mets Take First Game of Series vs Miami, Stearns and Mendoza talk to media

    MJ Melendez hit a two-run walk-off home run to give the Mets the 9-7 victory over the Miami Marlins on Friday. The Mets record is now 24-33 after back to back wins. They look to win the series tomorrow with Christian Scott on the mound. Plus, both David Stearns and Carlos Mendoza spoke to the media on Friday afternoon. I give my take on what was said and I go over some of the questions I would have asked the Mets President of Baseball Operations.

    Mets Fall to 11 games under .500, I rant

    The New York Mets have lost their 5th game in a row and have now fallen to 11 games under 500. It's pretty much rock bottom and I ranted about everything. A therapy session for me.

    Mets Lose First 2 in Miami, Offense Continues to Struggle

    As good of a homestand the Mets had last week is as bad as the road trip has been for the Mets. They split the series in Washington this past week and now have dropped the first two games against the Miami Marlins. The offense which had some life recently, has gone back to being absolutely brutal including basically being no hit for the first 8 innings of the game on Saturday. I'll discuss the issues with this team and the other concerns I have on the latest edition of the Metsomania Podcast.

    Mets Win Subway Series, With season altering Series ahead

    A wild and unpredictable Subway Series resulted in the Mets taking two out of three from their crosstown rival New York Yankees. After a disastrous start to the series, the Mets rebounded and won on both Saturday and Sunday to take the series. On this episode I break down the final two games of this series and discuss what the difference was for the Mets to win this series. Plus, I look ahead to the Washington series and discuss what the Mets need to do to keep their season alive.

    Clay Holmes Injured, Mets lose Subway Series Opener

    Clay Holmes took a line drive off the leg of Spencer Jones and broke his fibula. Now the Mets have to figure out life without Holmes and add another injury to their disastrous season. Plus, the offense went limp again on Friday night as they had couldn't solve Cam Schlittler and the Yankees bullpen and fall to 18-26 on the season. The season feels like it's slipping away.

    Mets call up AJ Ewing, A Big trade on the way?

    The Mets have called up prospect AJ Ewing ahead of this week's series against the Detroit Tigers. Ewing, a 4th round pick in 2023, should play outfield for the club in their attempt to jumpstart a putrid offense. I'll give my take on the move and whether or not I think it will help. Also, there has been some discussions about the Mets making a trade for a big bat. Is that needed? What would that do? I'll give my opinion on who they should go after and what this team should do moving forward. Finally, I look ahead to the series vs the Tigers and discuss what I think will happen on Tuesday.
