Tania Anderson

The Global Gratitude Show After graduating from American University in Washington, DC, with BA’s in Political Science and International Studies, Tania Anderson was hired as an international flight attendant by the iconic Pan American World Airways which set her on a course to explore the world’s continents. After Pan Am’s bankruptcy, Tania’s airline career expanded even more, to fly VIP charters, the White House press corps, convicts, film crews, refugees, military personnel, religious pilgrims, and medical transplant teams…..”everything” Tania admits, “Except rendition flights for the CIA!” In 1991, the USAF awarded Tania the Civilian Desert Shield and Desert Storm medal for Outstanding Achievement. During the First Gulf War, Tania flew troops close to the war zone under possible SCUD missile attack. In the 1990’s Tania lobbied on Capitol Hill as a volunteer for international human rights for “Those who do not have a voice.” In 2000, Tania joined the Screen Actors Guild and worked as an extra in films directed by Steven Spielberg, the Coen Brothers and Oliver Stone. She was also a “regular” on the popular TV series “The West Wing,” “Dharma & Greg,” and “The Practice” among others. In 2021, Tania worked flights transporting Ukrainian civilians to western Europe to learn how to defend their villages. Later that year, Atlas Air presented Tania with a Certificate of Appreciation for serving in Operation Allies Refuge, airlifting Afghani translators to America. In 2024, Tania’s first memoir, “On Butterflies’ Wings,” was published. It chronicled the anecdotes and diverse, cosmopolitan adventures she has experienced while living in seven countries out of the seventy-nine she has visited. Her love for writing was sparked while attending an exclusive, co-ed school in England. She recounted intriguing interactions with her extraordinary universal classmates, many of whom were princes or offspring of Hollywood celebrities. Currently, Tania is still in touch with lifelong friends from Millfield. Tania has also had the honor of meeting five American presidents, King Birendra of Nepal, President Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa at her home in Calcutta. “Synchronicity – The Escapades Continue” will be the second memoir of the series.  Tania is thrilled to become the host of “The Global Gratitude Show.”  Her experiences will now come to life for an international audience. She will have the  idyllic opportunity to honor some of the luminaries she has met along Life’s journey. The Global Gratitude Show with Dr Braxton Shaw

Dr. Braxton B. Shaw is an author, educator, researcher, and human performance specialist whose interdisciplinary work explores the intersection of cognitive psychology, organizational psychology, psychological skills training, neuroscience, organizational performance, human performance, and human potential. He earned his Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership and a Master's degree in Athletic Administration. He's currently pursuing a second master's degree in Applied Psychology, specializing in Organizational Psychology, at the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Shaw also serves as a Professor of Psychology at Azusa Pacific University, where he teaches and mentors students in psychological science and performance. With a professional background spanning competitive athletics, leadership, education, and the construction industry, Dr. Shaw has developed a distinctive perspective on the psychological mechanisms underlying human and organizational performance, mental health, and human capacity. He's the creator of field-based psychological interventions designed to advance mental readiness and human performance, and the developer and pioneer of Construction Performance Psychology (CPP), an evolving interdisciplinary behavioral science framework connecting psychological science with practical human and organizational performance within the construction industry. His research interests extend into cognitive neuroscience, psychological capacity, human-centered organizational systems, biotechnology, mental health, and the emerging possibilities of predictive approaches to psychological readiness and performance. As an author of multiple works, including The Clutch Gene, Coalescence, Transference, Dawg, and two volumes of Construction Performance Psychology, Dr. Shaw seeks to translate complex psychological principles into meaningful, accessible applications for individuals, leaders, and organizations. Central to his philosophy is the belief that meaningful advances in human and organizational performance require a deeper understanding of the whole person and the entire organizational system—not just observable behaviors or measurable outcomes, but the cognitive, emotional, psychological, and environmental conditions that shape human capability. Through his extensive writing, teaching, research, and his public conversations, Dr. Shaw advocates for a future in which psychological and behavioral science becomes a foundational component of human development, organizational effectiveness, mental health, industrial safety, and sustainable performance.

Mark Steven Porro, a New Jersey native (Exit 163), earned an Industrial Design degree from The Ohio State University. After years of agency work, his love of acting led him to Hollywood, where he appeared in dozens of television, film, and stage productions. Mark also spent his twenty-eight years in Tinseltown, entrepreneuring. He started five non-profit companies. But hold the applause, none were intended to be. He now lives in the South of France. But hold your pity. He of sound mind and body chose to suffer in the heart of wine country where the locals insist his French isn’t so bad—at least that’s what he thinks they’re saying.   Mark is an award-winning designer, writer, director, and now a best-selling, award-winning author. He has written lots of jokes, several screenplays, and one award-winning short film. A Cup of Tea on the Commode—a sad, sweet, and funny debut memoir—chronicles his multitasking adventures of filling his mother’s last years with love, laughter, and joy.
