This new episode in Healing our CELLves is a cellfie by Laurie Adami who is a survivor of follicular non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Laurie’s story starts with how her busy and successful life got interrupted by some strange symptoms and how it took her three years of seeing multiple doctors to finally get a diagnosis. Her story continues with the lengthy journey of fighting the cancer with different types of chemotherapies and drugs, and her participation in several clinical trials for new drugs when nothing else worked. And how she got to be the very first patient at UCLA in a clinical trial with CAR-T therapy for follicular non-Hodgkin lymphoma.     Meet Jonathan who is a journalist, an author, and a cancer survivor. He has been fighting multiple myeloma for 22 years, got treated with CAR-T therapy two years and four months ago and has been in a remission ever since.
