MINI EPISODE: 3 Steps to Feel Like You’re “Enough” With or Without Him

If you want to silence the voice in your head that’s always telling you, “he’s back off because you aren’t good enough” or “he stopped putting in effort because you weren’t interesting enough,” then you have to take control of the inner narrator in your head. Feeling good enough for someone else starts with feeling good enough for yourself. Within yourself. Until you learn to give that love and respect to yourself, nothing they do will ever give you real, lasting relief. You’ll keep wondering if you deserve the person you’re with and possibly tolerating a whole lot less than you truly deserve. Probably completely missing the fact that they might not be good enough for you. If you don’t know me, I’m Hanna, a certified EFT Specialist, and I’ve been a coach for 5+ years. And I’m going to walk you through a simple 3-step process that will silence that inner critic and help you start feeling good just by being you. With or without him. This process will help you understand that the right people will love and appreciate you for who you are. The wrong ones won’t. And you’ll be able to say, “They’re not right for me. And that’s okay.” Start Feeling “Good Enough” Right Now Step 1: Tell a new story. Set aside 10 minutes in the morning—or whenever works for you. But no excuses. Practice the thought, “I am enough.” Give it your full attention. Even if it feels uncomfortable. Even if your mind jumps in with, “No, you’re not. And here’s why.” Notice what you feel. Let those feelings come up. That’s the stuff making it hard to believe you’re enough. I’ve done this myself. At first, my mind and body fought the idea. And those arguments sounded convincing. But after I tapped through what came up—that’s step 2—I could think, “I am enough,” and actually feel it. It felt good. Nourishing. Like a warm hug from inside of me. That was my body starting to accept it. I was starting to believe it. I didn’t get that until I felt it myself. So I hope that gets you excited to try this. Step 2: Tap the resistance out. Tap right here on your collarbone to help that part of you calm down. Or, if you already know the tapping points, use the full set. Or download a pre-recorded tapping audio at thetapping.club/tapping-scripts Because that part of you shouting “you’re not enough, and you need to be better so you can earn someone’s love” is scared. She’s trying to protect you. At some point, believing “I’m not enough” may have felt like a way to stay safe. Now, help her feel safe enough to let that story go. Keep tapping and say: “Even though it’s hard to believe I’m enough when I don’t feel that way, I accept how I feel right now. And I’m going to stay here with myself through this heaviness.” Or use your own words. Then do exactly that. Stay with yourself as you tap. Notice any signs that your body is calming down. With practice, those small shifts in how you feel and think can grow into bigger ones. Step 3: Repeat until it starts to feel true. After you’ve tapped and felt a little calm settle in, you’re going to say it again: “I am enough.” Notice how those words feel now. If more doubt comes up, tap through that too. Pick a time each day and keep practicing. Give your body time to relax and those words time to feel true. Small shifts count. Keep showing up for yourself. Go try this, then come back and tell me what happened. What came up? What did you let go of? When did it start feeling easier to accept that you are enough?
