Deborah’s Arising: Breaking the Muzzle of Religion

In this special episode of The Morning Charge, Joshua is joined by his wife Brandy for a powerful conversation that started with one question: Can women be used by God from the pulpit? What followed was not a debate, but a passionate exploration of scripture, testimony, and the voice of the Holy Spirit. Brandy shares her journey from addiction and trauma to freedom through Jesus Christ and explains how God began calling her into a deeper walk with Him. Together, Joshua and Brandy discuss biblical examples of women used by God including Deborah, Priscilla, Phoebe, and Junia, and challenge the religious mindset that has often silenced women in the church. But the conversation goes even deeper. They talk about deliverance, prayer and fasting, spiritual warfare, forgiveness, breaking religious mindsets, and why believers must return to intimacy with God instead of relying on traditions or secondhand theology. This episode is a call for believers to pursue truth in the Word of God, seek the Holy Spirit personally, and walk boldly in the calling God has placed on their lives. Acts 13: The First Missionary Journey Begins

Acts chapter 13 marks a defining shift in the early church. What began in Jerusalem now becomes a Spirit-led missionary movement. While the church in Antioch is worshiping and fasting, the Holy Spirit speaks clearly: “Set apart Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” From that moment forward, the gospel begins moving intentionally beyond regional influence into global mission. In this episode, we break down: • How worship and fasting positioned the church to hear the Spirit  • What it means to be “set apart” before being sent out  • The confrontation between Paul and Elymas the sorcerer  • Why Paul boldly rebuked false spiritual authority  • The shift from Saul to Paul and what it signifies  • How rejection from some opened the door to the Gentiles Acts 13 shows us that apostolic sending is not man made ambition, it is Spirit initiated obedience. It also reminds us that every true move of God will face spiritual resistance. The chapter ends with persecution rising, but also with joy and the Holy Spirit filling the disciples. When God sends you, opposition doesn’t mean you missed it. It often confirms you’re right where you’re supposed to be. Acts 11: When the Church Adjusts to What God Is Doing

In this episode of The Morning Charge, we walk through Acts Chapter 11, the chapter where breakthrough must be explained and revival must be embraced. After the Holy Spirit falls on the Gentiles in Acts 10, Peter returns to Jerusalem and is immediately questioned. The Church now faces a defining moment. Will they resist what God is doing, or will they adjust their framework to match heaven’s activity? Acts 11 reveals how spiritual maturity handles major shifts. Peter recounts the vision, the outpouring, and the undeniable evidence that God has granted repentance to the Gentiles. The leaders glorify God instead of clinging to tradition. This is a powerful lesson in humility, discernment, and obedience. We also see the continued spread of the gospel through persecution, the rise of Antioch as a mission hub, the reemergence of Saul into leadership, and the first time believers are called Christians. The Church moves from reacting to persecution to proactively building, teaching, and giving. Generosity flows. Prophetic insight increases. Identity deepens. This chapter reminds us that revival is not just about moments of power. It is about properly stewarding what God is doing and being willing to grow when heaven stretches our understanding. When God moves, will we argue, or will we glorify Him? Acts 11 challenges us to recognize grace, embrace expansion, and align with what the Spirit is building. For the burning ones. For the wild ones. For those willing to adjust when heaven moves. Send us a message For a more interactive experience, watch "The Morning Charge" LIVE every Monday–Friday at 7:00 AM CST on TikTok.
