Divorce After 30 Years: How Women Rebuild Their Identity & Life After Heartbreak

What happens when a 30-year marriage comes to an end? In this deeply honest and emotional conversation, Kelly sits down with divorce strategist Joyce Ayers to talk about the reality of divorce, identity loss, healing, and rebuilding your life after heartbreak. Joyce shares her personal experience navigating the end of a long marriage, the grief of losing the future she thought she would have, and how conscious uncoupling completely changed the way she approached healing. Together, they explore why so many women lose themselves in relationships, how conditioning impacts the way we show up in marriage, and what it truly means to “rewild” your life after divorce. This episode is for any woman who feels stuck, disconnected from herself, or afraid to start over. Topics we cover:  ✨ Divorce after a long-term marriage  ✨ Emotional healing after divorce  ✨ Conscious uncoupling  ✨ Rebuilding your identity as a woman  ✨ Why women lose themselves in relationships  ✨ Trusting your intuition again  ✨ Self-abandonment and people-pleasing  ✨ Starting over after heartbreak  ✨ Feminine healing and empowerment  ✨ Creating a life that actually feels aligned Joyce Ayers is a heart-centered divorce strategist who helps women get their life back after divorce on their terms. After the ending of her 30-year marriage, she found herself faced with a future she wasn’t prepared for. One that felt uncertain, overwhelming, and completely unscripted. She discovered what so many women experience: without a strategy, it’s easy to get stuck in the emotional roller coaster, replaying the past, second-guessing decisions, and struggling to move forward with clarity. What women truly want is a clear path that helps them navigate their emotions, leave the past behind, and begin choosing a future that feels like their own. Through her ReWilding After Divorce process, Joyce guides women back to their inner compass so they can trust themselves again, make clear decisions, and create what’s next with intention. From Invisible to Unforgettable: Style, Confidence & Visibility for Midlife Women

What if feeling “frumpy” has nothing to do with your clothes… and everything to do with visibility? In this episode of The Unscripted Woman, Kelly sits down with style and confidence expert Mary Michele Nidiffer, also known as The Visibility Stylist, to explore the deeper truth behind why so many women over 40 begin to feel invisible. This conversation goes far beyond fashion. We dive into:  Why “frumpy” is often a reflection of feeling unseen  The connection between personal style, identity, and self-expression  How cultural conditioning teaches women to shrink with age  The subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways women make themselves invisible  Style as an energetic and psychological tool for confidence  Why you don’t need to “fix” yourself to be seen  Reclaiming your presence, power, and voice in midlife You’ll also hear about Mary Michele’s Style Finder ID system and how aligning your outer appearance with your inner truth can transform how you show up in every area of your life. Why You Feel Disconnected During Sex (And What Your Body Is Trying to Tell You)

If sex feels like a chore… your body is trying to tell you something. What if the reason you don’t want sex… has nothing to do with libido? In this episode of The Unscripted Woman Podcast, Kelly sits down with intimacy coach Daria Lebedeva to talk about why so many women feel disconnected during sex, and what’s actually happening beneath the surface.  From people-pleasing and “performing” intimacy… to feeling numb, avoidant, or completely shut down, this conversation gets into the real reasons desire disappears. Daria shares how her own journey through burnout, trauma, and nervous system dysregulation led her to discover the missing piece most women are never taught: Your body has to feel safe before it can feel pleasure. In this episode, we explore: • Why sex can start to feel like a chore • The link between trauma, the nervous system, and desire • What’s actually happening when you feel disconnected or “not into it” • How people-pleasing shows up in intimacy • Why forcing yourself makes it worse • What somatic work is — and how it helps you reconnect to your body • How to rebuild safety, trust, and desire from the inside out This isn’t about fixing your sex life. It’s about understanding your body, and why it’s been protecting you. If you’ve ever thought, “What’s wrong with me?”, this episode will change how you see yourself. Daria Lebedeva is an Intimacy Coach who helps women ditch the pressure and finally enjoy pleasure again. Daria’s work blends science, soul, and lived experience. She trained in psychology and psychiatric research, worked on the frontlines of mental health, and later dove deep into trauma and body-based work after her own experiences with burnout and disconnection. She understands the real patterns women struggle with - from people-pleasing and performing during sex, to freezing, avoiding, or feeling ‘broken’. She’s basically the woman you call when you want to fix your sex life from the inside out. She Survived a Car Explosion, Assault & 40 Years of Silence

Content Warning: sexual assault, traumatic injury and death Some stories are hard to hear… but they’re even harder to live through. In this episode of The Unscripted Woman Podcast, Kelly sits down with Tracy Smaldino, host of the Trauma Rockstars Podcast, to talk about survival, suppressed trauma, and the long road to healing.  At just 12 years old, Tracy survived a devastating car accident that left her with severe burns over most of her body, a traumatic brain injury, and months of hospitalization. She was the only survivor.  But the trauma didn’t end there. Years later, as a teenager, she experienced another devastating event that she kept secret for decades. She was drugged and gang raped at a high school party. For more than 40 years, Tracy suppressed the pain from these experiences, until meditation, nervous system work, and ultimately MDMA-assisted therapy helped her confront what she had carried for most of her life.  In this deeply honest conversation, we discuss: • Surviving a catastrophic burn accident as a child  • The long-term impact of unresolved trauma  • Why many trauma survivors suppress their experiences for decades  • The role of meditation and nervous system regulation in healing  • What MDMA-assisted therapy actually looks like  • Learning to forgive yourself after years of pain  • Turning trauma into purpose and helping others heal Today, Tracy uses her voice to help others through her podcast and advocacy work, showing that healing is possible, even after decades of silence.
