160-Fearful living in light of a precious gift (1 Peter 1:17-19) || The Evening Mindset - Christian Bible Meditation and Bedtime Prayers

Send Carey a note (sorry, replies are not possible at this time) TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:1 Peter 1:17–19 [17] And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, [18] knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, [19] but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. (ESV) SUMMARY We sit with Peter’s reminder that God is our Father who judges impartially, so reverence and obedience belong in a believer’s daily life. We also trace the staggering cost of redemption and end with a prayer for Spirit-powered gratitude that reshapes how we live. • God as Father and impartial judge  • Holy justice that holds us accountable as His children  • Redemption from futile inherited ways of living  • The priceless ransom of Christ’s precious blood  • Gratitude and love as the motive for obedience  • A bedtime prayer for confidence and Spirit-empowered living  As you prepare for rest, as you think about the day tomorrow, ask the Father to give you a realization of his role as your father and of his love for you, and ask him to prepare you to understand the great and mighty value of what he has done for you in Christ. 155-We will rise (1 Thessalonians 4:16–18) || The Evening Mindset - Christian Bible Meditation and Bedtime Prayers

Send Carey a note (sorry, replies are not possible at this time) TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:1 Thessalonians 4:16–18 [16] For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. [18] Therefore encourage one another with these words. (ESV) SUMMARY We read 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18 and let it reshape how we think about mortality, fear, and what comes after death. We end the day with prayer, setting our hearts on resurrection hope and the promise that we will always be with the Lord. • evening mindset meditation centered on 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18  • why we instinctively protect ourselves through medicine and safety habits  • the honest confession that we are frail and mortal  • eternal life in Jesus as more than comfort, a real future with Him  • resurrection hope, bodies raised and reunited, transformed and whole  • encouragement to rest tonight with confidence rather than fear  • closing prayer for peace, strength, and a life that shows others Jesus  Support the Evening Mindset: https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/EMSupport Join over 16,000 daily listeners who enjoy the podcast that started it all… “The Morning Mindset”: https://MorningMindsetMedia.com/Morning-Mindset
