Seeing with New Eyes | The Astrology of August 5–11, 2026

As we approach the powerful Leo Solar Eclipse on August 12, this week's astrology invites us to examine the stories that shape our identities and our collective future. This episode explores the major planetary shifts—including Venus entering Libra, Mercury entering Leo, Mars and Ceres entering Cancer, and Mercury's opposition to Pluto—to reveal a larger evolutionary movement from the shadow of Leo toward the humanitarian vision of Aquarius. Through the symbolism of these transits, the conversation reflects on themes of belonging, grief, community, empire, and our relationship with Gaia, asking what humanity may have lost as we moved away from tribal connection and into systems built on hierarchy, extraction, and endless growth. The episode also explores how Ceres, Chiron, Pluto, and the Lunar Nodes invite us to remember our interconnectedness with one another and the living world. Mercury in Leo's gift for storytelling—and its shadow of becoming attached to heroic narratives—takes center stage as Mercury opposes Pluto, encouraging us to question inherited beliefs, embrace greater complexity, and rewrite our stories from "I stand above" to "I stand with." As we prepare for next week's Solar Eclipse, this episode offers an invitation to practice gratitude, justice, humility, and reverence, remembering that meaningful transformation begins not only with what we do, but with how we choose to see. The Caterpillar, Cocoon, and Butterfly | Aquarius Full Moon July 29, 2026

This week we explore the powerful Aquarius Full Moon on July 29th and the profound themes of transformation, identity, and evolution woven throughout this chart. With the Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo opposing the Moon conjunct Pluto in Aquarius, we are being invited into a deeper process of evolution, one that requires us to release old identities, emotional attachments, and familiar ways of moving through the world in order to make space for something entirely new. Through the metaphor of the caterpillar becoming the butterfly, we explore the symbolism of the cocoon: the quiet, unseen process of transformation where the old form dissolves and a new expression of life begins to emerge. We unpack the South Node in Leo and North Node in Aquarius, exploring the difference between becoming a bigger version of who we have always been versus allowing ourselves to evolve into something completely different. We explore Mars in Gemini square Venus in Virgo as the tension between movement and refinement, and Mercury in Cancer square Saturn in Aries as the invitation to honor our origins while courageously stepping into a new chapter. This Full Moon reminds us that transformation is not about rejecting who we were, it is about allowing ourselves to become who we are meant to be. Join me as we explore the astrology of metamorphosis, surrender, and the beautiful process of becoming. The Song of The Soul | Cancer New Moon Astrology | July 8–14

This week invites us into a quiet, sacred conversation with our soul. With Mercury retrograde meeting the Sun in a powerful cazimi, followed by a deeply introspective Cancer New Moon, we're encouraged to step beyond the noise of the thinking mind and listen to the language of our emotions. Like hearing a song without lyrics, this is a time to discover the meaning that already lives within you. At the same time, Venus enters Virgo and challenges Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto, revealing where our lives have fallen out of alignment with our soul's deeper truth. Rather than responding with criticism or judgment, we're invited to embody the highest expression of Venus in Virgo: noticing what needs tending while remaining rooted in love. In this week's story, you enter a concert hall, listen to the language beneath words, and embark on a journey of remembering. Along the way, you discover that awakening isn't meant to make you more critical of the world—it is meant to deepen your capacity to love it. Together we'll explore: The Cancer New Moon and Mercury retrograde cazimi as an invitation to listen to your soul through your emotions. Why Venus in Virgo isn't about perfection, but about learning to care without judgment. How Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, and Jupiter are helping us remember who we are beyond our limiting beliefs. How discernment and unconditional love can coexist, allowing us to tend to our lives with compassion instead of criticism.May this episode remind you that awakening isn't measured by how many flaws you can see—it's measured by how much love remains after you've seen them.
