    In this episode, we sit down with Lily and Donovan Arrowood to hear their story of addiction, faith, family, and the unexpected way God brought their lives together through John 3:16 Ministries. Donovan shares how his battle with addiction began after trying meth for the first time at just 13 years old and the journey that eventually brought him to the ministry. He later went on to serve as an instructor at John 3:16 for two years. This ministry also became the place where Donovan and Lily's story began. Donovan became good friends with instructor Richard Clubb, Lily's father, who eventually introduced Donovan to his daughter. That introduction grew into a relationship, and today Lily and Donovan are married. Hear their story of how God can take a life marked by addiction and use it for something far greater than we could ever imagine.

For years, Tammy was a functioning addict. She had a nursing license, a good job, and a life that looked put together from the outside. But as her addiction to pain pills grew stronger, the things she had worked for began to dwindle away. Eventually, addiction took control. Today, Tammy's story looks completely different. Through Jesus Christ, she has found freedom, hope, and a new life she never thought possible.     In this powerful episode, Lisa Fischer sits down with Maria Guzman, a resident of John 3:16 Women's Ministries, to hear the incredible story of how God transformed her life. Maria shares how addiction began at just 16 years old with cocaine and led to years of bondage, brokenness, and repeated time in jail. What once seemed like an endless cycle of hopelessness became the very path God used to change her life. After being court-ordered to John 3:16 Women's Ministries, Maria initially viewed her time at the ministry as punishment. Paul tried many things such as rehabs, 12-step programs and more but he was completely powerless to his addiction. Since coming to the ministry he has found a new life in Christ and he is now an instructor here at the ministry.
