To Heal Is to Feel Safe: What Creating a Safe Space Really Means

Send us Fan Mail What does it really mean to create a safe space for healing? In this episode of Thrive with Nicole, I share a personal reflection on something I recently heard that challenged me and prompted me to look a little deeper within myself. Rather than dismissing the discomfort I felt, I chose to sit with it, become curious about my reaction and reflect on my own work as a holistic counsellor and EFT practitioner. This process brought me back to my own values and the importance of the work we do on ourselves. My motto is “To Heal Is to Feel Safe”, and creating a space where my clients feel heard, respected and supported is central to my practice. But what does creating a safe space actually mean? Can we promise that someone will always feel safe, or is it about creating the conditions in which safety can begin to develop? In this episode, we explore: 🌿 What creating a safe space for healing really means. 💜 Why emotional safety is personal and can look different for everyone. 🌿 The importance of self-awareness and doing our own inner work. 💜 How we can sit with triggers and use them as opportunities for reflection rather than judgement. 🌿 The difference between creating safety and promising that we will never experience discomfort. Whether you are on your own healing journey or you support others in theirs, I invite you to reflect on what safety means to you and how we can create more space for trust, compassion and understanding. Because healing isn't about never feeling uncomfortable. It's about having the support, space and safety to explore what arises, at your own pace. To heal is to feel safe. 💜 With love, Nicole 🌿 Holistic Counsellor | Certified Clinical EFT Practitioner | Empath Coach Thank you for joining me for this conversation. My hope is that through each episode, you feel a little more seen, a little more understood, and a little more connected to yourself. If you'd like to continue the conversation, I invite you to join my newsletter, where we explore life's questions, challenges, and moments of growth together. What Is Your Dream Asking Of You? Full Moon in Aries | Archangel Ariel

Send us Fan Mail What is your dream asking of you? In this episode of Archangels and Astrology, we connect with the energy of the Full Moon in Aries and Archangel Ariel to explore the deeper meaning behind manifesting a dream. Rather than focusing only on how to make something happen, this reading invites us to ask a different question: What is your dream asking of you? What are you being invited to release? Where are you being called to trust yourself? What action might be yours to take? And where might you be trying to force something that is asking to unfold more naturally? The message from this reading is a beautiful reminder that manifestation doesn't always have to feel like pushing, striving or making things happen. Sometimes there is an invitation to soften, listen and trust the path unfolding in front of you. The episode concludes with a gentle EFT tapping activation, helping you connect with the energy of ease, trust and flow. ✨ “I trust in the ease and flow of life.” ✨ Take some time to settle in, listen deeply and notice what your own dream might be asking of you. 🌿 You may find that the message you need isn't about doing more — but about trusting yourself and allowing life to meet you along the way. With love, Nicole Thank you for joining me for this conversation. My hope is that through each episode, you feel a little more seen, a little more understood, and a little more connected to yourself. Can You BioHack Your Nervous System?

Send us Fan Mail Can You Biohack Your Nervous System? Biohacking has become a popular buzzword in the wellness space, with countless tools, techniques, and strategies promising to regulate your nervous system faster and more effectively. But can you actually biohack your nervous system? In this episode, I explore the growing conversation around nervous system biohacking and share my perspective on where these approaches can be helpful and where they may fall short.  While many biohacks can support regulation and provide temporary relief, I discuss why true nervous system healing is often less about finding the next quick fix and more about creating the conditions for safety, presence, and lasting change. I also explore an important question: "If the nervous system responds to slowness and safety, is biohacking trying to speed up a process that was never meant to be rushed?" One question I often hear is whether EFT Tapping is a biohack. In this episode, I share my thoughts on why EFT Tapping may appear to be a biohack on the surface, while also offering something much deeper.  Rather than simply changing how we feel in the moment, EFT Tapping can help us safely connect with, process, and heal the emotions and experiences that may be contributing to nervous system dysregulation. Join me as we unpack the difference between managing symptoms and supporting genuine healing, and reflect on what it really means to work with your nervous system rather than trying to outsmart it. Whether you're new to nervous system work, curious about biohacking, or wondering where EFT Tapping fits into the conversation, this episode offers a compassionate invitation to slow down and consider a different path forward.  "Healing doesn't always happen faster because we push harder. Sometimes healing happens because, for the first time, we feel safe enough to slow down."  EP168 What is Orienting Tapping? I invite you to go deeper with your nervous system healing and work with me privately.  Get Started Here Thank you for joining me for this conversation. Walking The Labyrinth of Grief: Introduction to a Series on Living with Loss

Send us Fan Mail Grief is often described as a series of stages we move through; but for many people, that simply isn’t how it feels.  In this opening episode, we explore a different way of understanding grief: not as a straight line, but as a labyrinth. A labyrinth has one winding path. It curves, it doubles back, and at times it can feel like you’re returning to the same place again and again.  Grief can feel like this too; shifting, revisiting, and unfolding in its own time. In this episode, we gently explore what it means to live with grief rather than “get over” it. We talk about why grief isn’t something to fix or finish, and how it can become part of your life in a way that allows both sorrow and meaning to exist side by side. This is the beginning of a series that will explore the many layers of grief; including the losses we don’t always name, the idea of “stages,” and how we gradually learn to carry grief in our everyday lives. Wherever you are in your own experience of loss, this episode offers a compassionate starting point: a reminder that there are no wrong turns, and that you are not alone as you find your way through. I invite you to subscribe to the podcast to be notified as each episode is released for this series. I invite you to visit my website to see what the Labyrinth Path looks like.
