    Time | God First | Pastor Mark Daniel

    Is God really first in your life, or is he getting your rushed, distracted leftovers?     Being Found Ready | Stand in Awe | Pastor Mark Daniel

    How do you live today with forever in mind? Your entire earthly life is like a single grain of sand next to the vast Sahara of eternity, and what you do with it matters more than you think.     The Glory of God | Stand in Awe | Pastor Mark Daniel

    What does it really mean to fear the Lord? It's not terror, but a reverential awe that grows as we see the true weight of who God is.     Discovering the Incomprehensible God | Stand in Awe | Pastor Mark Daniel

    God is not a bigger version of us. He is transcendent, and the higher your view of Him gets, the easier it becomes to trust Him. This message walks through the unsearchable greatness of God and why a low view of God makes trust almost impossible. It opens with Israel meeting God at the mountain after 400 years surrounded by Egypt's idols, then works through four ways God transcends us: He is beyond the physical laws, beyond our comprehension, beyond time, and beyond space. Along the way you will hear the miracles that prove there is no one like Him, C.S. Lewis describing eternity as an infinite sheet of paper with a one inch pencil line drawn on it, and an honest word about why we keep trying to figure God out instead of trusting Him. If you have been struggling to trust God, this message points you back to where trust actually grows: getting into the Word daily and asking God to open your eyes to who He really is. Because the same God who fills the infinite expanse of the universe is the God who surrounds you personally right now. You are not out of His sight, you are not beyond His reach, and you are not beyond His grace.

Walking through Isaiah 6 and Israel's encounter at Mount Sinai, Pastor shows why God told Moses the plagues and the parting of the sea would not be the proof of His identity, but the mountain would. A small view of God produces a fragile faith, one that cannot carry you through trials, comfort your suffering, or meet your needs. When we see God as He truly is, our arrogance dies, our worship becomes real, sin loses its appeal, and our hearts catch fire.
