Is Jesus REALLY God? - Ep. 31

Tonight, LIVE, we’re going through the entire first chapter of the Gospel of John — all 51 verses — to answer one question: is Jesus actually God, or just a good man, a prophet, or a created being like Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and Muslims all claim? We dig into the original Greek and Hebrew, break down the Logos, expose the “a god” mistranslation controversy, and walk verse by verse from “In the beginning was the Word” all the way to Jacob’s ladder. This is deep Bible study with zero boring parts — apologetics, humor, and modern analogies that actually make sense. If you’ve ever had someone at your door try to tell you Jesus isn’t God, or you’ve just wondered how to defend what you believe, this is the episode to send them. We’re not backing down from Scripture — we’re diving straight into it. Topics covered tonight: the deity of Christ, John 1:1 in the Greek, Jehovah’s Witnesses and the New World Translation, Mormon theology on Jesus as a spirit child, Islam and the Trinity, the tabernacle and the incarnation, the Lamb of God and Passover typology, and how the whole chapter points to Jesus as God in the flesh. Christian apologetics, Bible study, and Say Something LIVE — all in one. Are Jehovah’s Witness CHRISTIAN? - Ep. 29

On New Year's Eve, 1975, an eight-year-old girl sat in an empty apartment with her family, waiting on a date the Watchtower Society had promised was the end of human history. Her family had sold their house for it. Midnight came and went, and nothing happened — not that year, and not in 1914 or 1925 either, when the same organization made the same kind of confident, specific, wrong prediction. In this episode of Say Something, we walk through the Bible's own test for a true prophet in Deuteronomy 18:22, the Watchtower Society's documented history of reversed medical positions on vaccines and organ transplants, and the two key verses — Matthew 24:45 and 2 Peter 1:20 — routinely stretched to build an authority structure Scripture never actually grants. This one's for anyone with a family member caught inside a system that claims to speak for God and answers to no one when it's wrong. Say Something is a weekly sermon series confronting culture, apologetics, and Scripture head-on — no filter, no fluff, just the truth about who God is and what He actually asks of us. New episodes every week on YouTube, X, and Instagram at @xmikemac. If you're searching for Jehovah's Witness false prophecies, is the Watchtower Society the voice of God, 1975 Jehovah's Witness prediction, Watchtower vaccine ban history, Matthew 24:45 faithful and discreet slave explained, 2 Peter 1:20 private interpretation, how to talk to a Jehovah's Witness, or Christian apologetics against high-control religion — this episode of Say Something walks through the documented history and the Scripture, plain and simple.

Bibles in Texas Schools? - Ep. 28

Texas just approved a mandatory reading list for over five million public school students — a 9-4 party-line vote on June 26, 2026 — and for the first time in American history, it includes required Bible passages, straight out of the King James Version. Nearly 200 texts, far beyond the one-work-per-grade minimum the law actually requires. A lot of Christians — most conservatives, most people who voted for Trump — are celebrating. I'm not one of them. In this episode of Say Something, I dig into why a believer — a preacher, even — can look at a state-mandated Bible curriculum and still say "not like this." We talk denominations, translations, the Establishment Clause, why our own ancestors fled a state-run church in England, and why the gospel was never supposed to travel through a school board gavel. If you've cheered every headline about the Ten Commandments in classrooms, chaplains in hallways, and now this reading list, I want you to sit with one question before you cheer the next one: whose Christianity gets to be the official one? This isn't an argument against Scripture in the hands of kids. It's an argument for keeping that Scripture in the hands of the church, the family, and the Holy Spirit — not the state. Faith that's forced isn't faith. It's compliance. And compliance never saved anybody. Whether you're a lifelong believer or you've never opened a Bible in your life, this one's for you. Because the real answer to a godless culture was never gonna come from Austin. It was always gonna come from us. Texas Bible reading list, Texas school board Bible mandate, Christianity in public schools, separation of church and state, King James Version curriculum, Ten Commandments in classrooms Texas, Establishment Clause religious liberty, Christian nationalism debate, government mandated religion, school chaplains Texas law, freedom of religion in America, why Christians should oppose government religion, Say Something with Mike Mac.

The God Grift! - Ep. 25

Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck at 31 years old. A 22-year-old man confessed. The FBI says he acted alone. Case closed. Unless you've got a podcast to feed. Tucker Carlson stood at Charlie Kirk's funeral and retold the death of Jesus — with a laugh — as a wink-and-nod that Jewish people had his friend killed. Candace Owens launched a multi-part series called "Bride of Charlie" accusing Kirk's grieving widow Erika of being involved in his murder. Her evidence? Anonymous tips. Suspicious pantsuit choices. And a dream. Six million subscribers. In this message I'm going after the God Grift in its most dangerous form — the version that wraps antisemitism in Christian language, uses a dead man's legacy as content, attacks a widow for views, and calls it truth-telling. I'm naming Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens directly. I'm showing you exactly what Scripture says about this. And I'm making the case that what these two are doing isn't just wrong — it's exactly what Jesus warned us about in Matthew 23 and Matthew 7. I'm also going to tell you what real Christianity actually looks like. Spoiler: it doesn't come with a Patreon link.
