Many subcutaneous (soft tissue) lumps are benign, commonly a lipoma (fatty lump) or a cyst, but some features warrant prompt medical assessment. In this episode of the Cutting Edge Plastic Surgery (CEPS) Podcast, Dr Adam Greenbaum explains the common causes of lumps under the skin, how they are assessed clinically, and when treatment or removal may be recommended.
