The Birth Portal is a podcast hosted by Connie Fetterly, She is a retired midwife with decades of experience supporting families through pregnancy and birth. She practiced at a large midwifery clinic and held hospital privileges at two hospitals in her area attending both hospital and home births. Known for often saying she had "the best job in the world", Connie considers it a privilege to have been part of families' birth stories whether joyful or challenging. After years of hearing how deeply people value sharing their birth experiences, she created The Birth Portal to share true birth stories with a gental educational lens.
