    Season 1, Episode 3: Becoming in 2026

Hello Shining Ones, Welcome to this week’s ‘Sunday Service’, our third episode of Dream Midwifery: The Podcast. This week we explore the emergence phase in rites of passage. From enclosure and metamorphosis in Samhain to a slow emergence at Imbolc, entering into the energy of becoming in 2026. When we move into our becoming with intention, we place ourselves on the road to Tara, the royal citadel of ancient Ireland. Tara is Temair in Irish Gaelic, meaning ‘high place’, ‘eminence’, ‘hill’. Tara is the high, eminent place within us, the place of soul. No one could enter Tara who was not devoted to their becoming. We draw on the symbology of Tara and midwifery to illuminate the role of pleasure and sensual aliveness to life as wayshowers on our soul’s journey. How the creative energy within us needs to be expressed and if we try to contain it because of feelings of not-enoughness or too-muchness or whatever collective shame we’ve taken on, it can attack our nervous systems (compounding that shame as an unlived part) and dull our spirit. We also touched upon the very important topic of juicy pears as you will soon hear… A few quotes from our conversation: “Creative energy needs to be expressed. It can't be contained. It needs to be moved. It needs to be allowed to be expressed and to move and to sway and to dance and to sing and to create. If anybody is a highly sensitive, highly creative person and they’re feeling really anxious, maybe there's something that is trying to be born from you.” “Little do we know at the time, but the pressure and the constriction of being squeezed through that birth canal is exactly the pressure that we need to then fully embrace all of life. To fully inhale all of life, we first need to be compressed so that we can then expand.” “There are so many times that you abandon yourself or you have to dissociate to survive. For me to actually say to myself, ‘I’m devoted to you. I'll do this for you’ - it’s a really powerful act. It’s like choosing you.” “What brings me alive is romancing life. Being in relationship with life. I was walking this morning and I saw this beautiful blackbird, then the footpath was glistening with frost and it felt like every step that I took something was glistening back. That’s what makes me feel alive—just that romance, I'm in relationship with life.” Sarah’s Book: If you'd love to learn more about Sarah’s potent, primal and poetic book, WOMAN: A guide to living your best life by setting yourself free and coming home to your true nature, have a look here. Stunningly illustrated, it is a work of art. Oracle Activation: From Jen’s oracle deck, Celtic Dream Oracle: Ancient Symbols to Guide Your Modern Life. Read the full entry here. Season 1, Episode 2 : The Liminal

In this episode of Dream Midwifery: The Podcast, we enter the fertile dark of the liminal — the space between worlds, identities, breaths, heart beats, contractions and of course, becomings. We explore the Banshee as an archetypal presence in the Irish psyche. An incredible guardian of thresholds, a keener of grief, a psychopomp of souls, and a midwife of transitions. She is the voice of the unknown — the one who raises the cry, to bring a message of endings. This episode weaves together myth, birth wisdom, dreamwork, and cultural memory as we speak about the transition phase in birth and creations — that moment when everything seems to slow, soften, and fall away. A deep dreaming space opens. This pause is an essential initiation and one often missed in todays society. This is where the soup of creation begins to take form and intelligence. We reflect on how modern culture and fear, often blocks us from stopping, resting, trusting, and surrendering into the unknown — even though this is where the magic lives. We explore our sacred site, Newgrange located in Brú na Bóinne, the great womb-tomb, as a living symbol of death and rebirth, rest and return — a portal reminding us that darkness is not an ending, but a preparation. This episode is for anyone: * Standing in a liminal space * In transition, grief, change, or unknowing * Feeling called to slow down rather than push through * Learning to trust rest, pause, and surrender * Gestating something new but unseen * Feels they may be gripping or controlling We explore: * The Banshee as archetype, midwife, and psychopomp * The wisdom of the unknown and the fertility of pause * Transition in birth as a dreaming state * Why we resist stopping — and how to unblock that resistance * Liminal spaces as portals of initiation and liberation ✨ Oracle Activation — BANSHEEFrom Jen’s beautiful oracle deck, Celtic Dream Oracle: Ancient Symbols to Guide Your Modern Life. Season 1, Episode 1 : Dreaming into Samhain

In this episode, we journey through the deep threshold from Samhain to Imbolc, from death and decay into fertility, renewal, and new life. This is a conversation about endings, dissolutions, and the personal apocalypses we are asked to walk through in order to become free. We explore what it means to sit in the composting dark, to let identities fall away, and to trust the intelligence of death as a necessary initiation into rebirth. Along the way, we work with the Spirit Horse as a guide - a symbol of instinct, power, and liberation - helping us move through fear, collapse, and transformation with courage and momentum. This episode is for anyone standing at a threshold: * Moving through grief, loss, or endings * Experiencing an inner death or identity shedding * Feeling the call toward renewal, creativity, and fertility — of ideas, life force, or literal birth * Longing for liberation on the other side of collapse We explore: * Death and decay as sacred and fertile processes * Personal apocalypses and soul-level initiations * The Spirit Horse as a guide through the underworld and back into life * The seasonal arc from Samhain’s darkness to Imbolc’s quickening light * Liberation as the fruit of surrender and trust ✨ THRESHOLD: In case you missed it this week, we’ve just launched THRESHOLD - a 31-day sacred container of ritual and ceremony to guide you across the threshold from Samhain to Imbolc.
