They went out and got Luis Arraez from the Giants, a hitting machine who is a big upgrade to the lineup. But for him to remain at second base there will be a lot of people playing unfamiliar positions. Is it worth it? They also added two relief pitchers: lefty Brooks Raley from the Mets and righty Caleb Kilian from the Giants. Are we happy with the bullpen now? And we finish up by discussing the rotation. Did the need to add a starter to the mix? And who do we wish they traded for before the deadline? We open up our wishlists!

After we broke out the whiteboard, King James decided to come to Philadelphia and join the Sixers. How did we find out? What were our initial reactions? And what do we think a week after his decision? Then we get into the Phillies, who have struggled since the All-Star break and are still having issues with their 4th and 5th starter spots. But we can't even break that down because of the off-the-field drama. The star player says we need help. The manager tells him to keep quiet and stop trying to take his son's job. Oh yeah, the manager's son is the general manager. And the general manager reports to the President of Baseball Ops, who the star player mentions by name. Given all this, what should they do?     What a week for the Phillies. Cycles and homers and comeback wins! Plus we've got World Cup fever.

    Brothers Johnny and Kyle Fisher were raised on Philly sports and are bringing their smart, passionate, no-nonsense analysis to the podcast world. This is the podcast for all Philly sports fans -- the diehards, the casuals, and everyone in between. In this episode, we talk about the Phillies wild 5-day stretch, starting with Saturday's huge win over the Mets when Kyle Schwarber hit 3 home runs -- including 2 in one inning -- and Bryce Harper hit for the cycle. And Kyle was there! Then both guys homered the next day and the Phils won the series. And after a loss in D.C. on Monday, they had an 8-run 9th inning on Tuesday for a huge comeback win, and the next night got a pinch-hit go-ahead home run from Derek Hill in the 9th for another come-from-behind victory. And both comebacks came with two outs. And then we talk about the World Cup. We've got the fever! Team USA is looking good and things are lining up nicely for the red, white and blue. And Kyle was in the house when Brazil played Haiti at the Linc last weekend, we'll get his recap. Finally, we debut our new segment called Glove Talk (name still under consideration).
