How does your therapist deal with Depression

Everyone on this planet gets depressed, even your therapist. We all experience loss and hurt over past events. Not feeling anything about what we have gone through would be inhuman. So, wouldn't it be a good idea to have a chat with your therapist about depression and how they cope? I imagine your therapist isn't on medication and in therapy for depression, so how do they manage those moments, those memories that cause them to feel mad, sad, or regret the past? What do they do? How do they cope? Then simply copy them: what works, keep; what doesn't, discard. Soon you will build up a whole arsenal of healthy coping skills and you will feel less depressed as you learn to deal with these memories and the feelings they trigger in most cases, we look up to our all knowing therapist as the holder of the solution, our mentor and life coach to guide us in life; it seems like a great idea to me, that we should ask them how they cope with depression and the different factors that go into depression: The anger The sadness The regret The remorse  The guilt The shame The sense of isolation and loneliness  I am fairly sure your therapist has a wonderful arsenal of healthy coping skill and affirmative actions they recommend to their families and children. Your therapist wants the best for you, but wont suffer this path, until they know you are capable of walking the walk, and so they will wait patiently, lovingly for you to approach them and ask them for a new way of dealing with depression, a way in which you face your fears and demons head on and overcome them, This is your time to take this action and ask your therapist how they deal with depression. I can suggest a program that worked for me and those who have followed me onto this path Healing Any Past Trauma Memory #healinganypasttraumamemory and then a program to teach you to take it, one day at a time, never looking back into the victimhood of all your past lives, and knowing the unknown future isn't happening today ad therefore none of your business today #traumarecoveryanonymous do check  out our website for more information www.traumarecoveryanonymous.com      t

How does your therapist deal with Anxiety?

Surely if your therapist sees anxiety as a mental disorder, then ask,  how does your therapist deal with their anxiety? Do they suffer in all the ways that you suffer anxiety? Do they push people away? Do they curl up in a ball and cry uncontrollably? Do they feel no one understands them or cares for them? Do they spend all their time with you talking about their feelings, their poor me instances, their peeves? Do they feel they should get a special pass in life? or Do they handle anxiety? Are they in control of their feelings? How do they cope with their anxiety? Surely, it would be a good idea to learn from them how they manage their feelings, like anxiety, fear & worry? Wouldn't it be a great thing if you learned how your therapist copes, copy what they do, and suddenly you would be in command of your feelings like your therapist? How cool would that be? Imagine the next time you feel anxious, rather than letting it rule you and needing to medicate how you feel, you copy what your therapist does, and you find yourself surviving that moment. What would that feel like? Wouldn't that be marvelous? You would be stronger, more confident, just like your therapist! Know you therapist will not force change on you, in case you feel threatened or isolated, but if you ask them for more productive ways to deal with anxiety, they will jump at the chance to empower you to overcome your fears and worries. So, the next time you feel anxious, worried or fearful about anything or anyone, ask your therapist what they would do in that situation.  Try it, if it works for you keep it; if it doesn't, discard it and ask for another idea or suggestion. There will come a time when you have tried so many of your therapists healthy coping skills that in the future when you are triggered, you will realize it isn't as bad as before, because now you feel in control. Doing this, asking others for their coping skills, not just your therapist, but your parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends. favorite teacher, professor or manager/boss; and one day you will no you no longer have an anxiety disorder, you'll see anxiety as a superpower instinct, to trust in the face of any danger HOW TO LIVE STRESS & ANXIETY FREE 24 HOURS A DAY by Richard Tierney #howtolivestressandanxietyfree24hoursadaybyrichardtierney #traumarecoveryanonymous

An Opinion is only an opinion until...

An opinion is only an opinion until the recipient adds substance to it. When a mental health professional on meeting you for the first time, gives their opinion of what your problem might be, at that point, that is their opinion, they might be wrong. It is solely down to you as to whether you accept that opinion as your truth or you reject it. If you accept it as your truth and their opinion is that you have a mental disorder; for  instance lets suggest Depression or PTSD.  Only when you buy into this opinion does it gain substance and traction. It's only when you, not at your best, decide that a strangers opinion of you, should define you for the rest of your life; understand you are your own worst enemy; you cant blame the professional, they just gave you an opinion, you can't blame your childhood, your past, the war or your parents; you elected to accept a person's opinion as your truth. Lets imagine in this moment, you think i am a fool for making this argument. Now be clutching for answers accept your opinion, and declare " I am a fool"  For this to become my reality and solution, I must embrace the concept of being a fool in every area of my life. i have to keep loyal to this diagnosis because i have chosen this pinion of yours to define me. But what if i disagree, what fi my arguments are valid, that a fool would never been responsible enough  to look you up and make an appointment to see you. And so rejecting your opinion,  I go looking for a second opinion. Here the mental health professional agrees I am not a fool, but declares I an an idiot; that i am talking about things  I am not qualified to talk of and therefore i must be a complete idiot. Again, if I accept your opinion, I must now act the complete idiot to present this new identity to all about me. But what if, once more, i disagree with your opinion and after voicing all my reasons why i am not an idiot, i go in search of a third opinion. This time i decide to talk to a Holistic therapist or coach to see it from the perspective of an emotional disturbance rather than a mental illness. Their solution empowers me to see all my feelings and emotions are my God given instincts, and every time i am triggered now, I choose Flight or Fight, and to my surprise my world doesn't fall apart. But there is something niggling at me,  I'm sill not all there. i realize there is a past memory eating away at me, and burying my head in the sand and pretending it isn't there doesn't work & so i set aside and skepticism and ask a spiritual advisor about how do i claim and perform miracles to cast out my demons.  They suggest a spiritual solution, and once completed,  am free of my demons,  have slain my dragons past and broken the bondage of the past for the first time in my life i am completely free of the past  I am able to focus all of my attention and intentions on the present and those I am responsible for.   I had to decide if i was going to allow another person's opinion rule and define me or was I willing to do what it would take to let go of the past completely #healinganypasttraumamemory #traumarecoveryanonymous Richard can take you on this journey, you'll need both books read, to understand the path we will take and in three hours you will be free of the past. appointments@traumarecoveryanonymous.com

    Suicide the Final Solution

Those of us facing suicide as a final solution to the pains and hurts, don't need people around them to be present and willing to listen to them. They require a new solution, something old, something new. They have tried every man-made solution and they are running  out of ideas. They need a spiritual solution to mend their broken spirit, their wounded soul,  the hole in their soul Everyone can see the pain and hurt on the surface; in their thoughts and feelings, in their anguish and rage, but no one  can see the Cause; what is eating away  at them.  Until we help them find a solution to heal this gaping hole in their soul, they will never know peace. In the same way we are not the person we were yesterday because we are 24 hours older today, this simple common sense is the truth that shall set them free, but they need to hear it from you. As you cant be the person you were 24 hours ago, you cant be a younger aspect of you from another lifetime, who suffered a trauma event back then We are the survivors today, Our younger selves, they were the victim That is the truth that shall set all tempted with suicide to pull back from that brink of despair. We have to teach these wounded souls to return the details and baggage of the past back to its rightful owner, and that it is much easier that it sounds, they embrace the 2 hour healing event to make this exchange using the practice Healing any Past Trauma Memory #healinganypasttraumamemory Once they give the baggage back, the inner child steps into the light with it, and those left behind feel this release mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. They know a new freedom, they see that the diagnosis attached to the past event was never about them, it had its origin in an event that  happened to someone in their past and so they jump into the 12 steps of Trauma Recovery Anonymous Once the individual completes this 3 hour process they are completely free of the energy surrounding the old memory, that ate at their soul for so long. It might be that they have fears, real or imaginary of the unknown future and these will have to be addressed at some stage How to Live Stress & Anxiety Free 24 hours a Day #howtolivestressandanxietyfree24hoursadaybyrichardtierney we need to give those we care about a permanent solution that empowers them to become the solution too "give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach him to fish and he eats forever"

    Anxiety is a Superpower

Understand all your feelings and emotions are not mental disorders, rather they are our God given instincts, our gut feelings to keep safe. When we feel anxious, we can use one one of our responses. In the animal kingdom, when an animal is being attacked or hunted, they will respond with : Flight.  - Fight.  - Freeze Watch any national geographic episode and you will see animals going through these responses. But, we are human beings, were endowed with three other responses: Fawn - Faith. - Acceptance. Freeze and Fawn are the perfect healthy responses for young children. young children cannot run away or defend themselves; all they can do is to either Freeze or Fawn. We have to learn to use the other responses and why: Flight: run away, leave the building,  the conversation, the relationship, the situation Fight: ask for help, tell others you don't want to be fixed or saved but would they teach you how to cope better, look at your therapist, they experience anxiety too, yet you don't see them medicating themselves, ask them what they do and simply copy them,  seek a solution, stand up for yourself, fight back, just say no Faith : keep your faith in your parents and family, ignore your self talk, accept there is a god, stop arguing whether the chicken or the egg came first Acceptance: understand it's not all  about you, you are no one's victim,  Understand your anxiety is a great warning skill probably the best call to action in your whole armory of coping skills ,so  trust your anxiety and remember they are your God given instincts. The best thing you can do right now is to stop listening to your self talk. there are two sets of voices within you. The conscious voices in your mind  & The subconscious voices of your soul One set knocks you down  & The other set builds you up Learn to differentiate which is which.   This book will help #howtolivestressandanxietyfree24hoursadaybyrichardtierney   If there is some past event that intrudes on your life, you cant forget, then you must treat this too. #healinganytraumamemory #traumarecoveryanonymous

    You are ready!

You are ready! You are ready for change. You found this podcast and episode on your feed. Nothing happens by chance. there is a Cause for every thing in life. As with mental disorders like Depression & PTSD, they are the Effect. The question we need to be both asking and answering are What happened in the past to Cause the diagnosis? When did it happen? Who did it happen to? If you are the survivor today, looking back at a trauma event in the past, then clearly it didnt happen to you the survivor, so who was the victim. We cant live in two lifetimes We cant live two separate lives We cant be two different people from two different time zones. Either our whole lives, its meaning and purpose, is to be found in the land of the living today, or we are enduring a lie. if we have brought a dead thing from the past into the present, we have brought the death, decay and disease of an event not ours, belonging to a younger aspect of us, from another lifetime, the one we refer to is our inner child. We have literally dug up their grave and decided to ignore the life they sacrificed so much for; for us; to suffer a dead thing, and the death, decay and disease of that dead thing is destroying everything and everyone it touches. Healing Any Past Trauma Memory ,means giving the details and baggage of the past event back to its rightful owner, in a non and intrusive 2 hour healing the soul event https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DPM68FFQ By doing this work, and embracing this truth, you can break free completely of : Your demons Your dragons past The destructive self talk in your head And the bondage of the past but only you can achieve this You are then ready to complete the 12 steps of Trauma Recovery Anonymous that will empower you to live one day at a time, with a daily plan of living. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DPM5N1FN     Richard can guide you on this journey and can be reached at appointments@traumarecoveryanonymous

    The Choice is All Yours

Most people have no idea of how prayer works. They don't realize that their prayers are not what they learned in school, at church, or at their mother's knees. Prayer is the things we say to ourselves all day long, when we think no one is listening to us. We are our own worst enemy. It doesn't matter if you are an unbeliever or an atheist; the sad truth is that God wants each of us to be happy, and so He answers all our prayers that we focus on. It's not enough to call out to god for deliverance from our troubles if our incessant prayers are full of doom, gloom, depression & despiar; or anxiety, fear, and panic of the unknown future. It's our persistent prayers that He hears and answers, all day long. We have to learn how to pray properly and what else we can do on the inside to change our circumstances, and this program can show you the way. It's always been an inside job. There is no pill, tablet, medication, or drug that can heal your wounded soul; it's down to you to heal that yourself. But you don't have to do this alone; you can do these practices with family or friends. How to Live Stress & Anxiety Free 24 Hours a Day #howtolivestressandanxietyfree24hoursaday and if you are open to making peace with your past, then it's time to give the actual event back to your inner child, the actual aspect of you who suffered the event #healinganypasttraumamemory   once you have completed  this 2 hour healing process , it's time to learn a new way of coping with life, one day at a time #traumarecoveryanonymous

Dr. Glenn Berger, Treating the Heart of the Matter

Dr. Glenn lived a wonderous life, a life on the wild side, sowing his wild oats, until he had his spiritual awakening at aged 37. Seeing the names of all the immigrants who came for a new life and here he was  throwing his life away, everything changed.  He went back to school to learn how he became so lost, and eventually he got a PHD and still he was always looking for something extra. Along the way, he learned about a Chinese sage called MENCIUS, who believed that all of humanity were inherently good. "pity the man who has lost his path and does not follow it, pity the man who lost his heart and does not go out and find it" "when their dogs or chicks are lost, they go out and look for them, but when their hearts, their good nature is lost, they don't go out and look for them" Dr. Glenn expands on his hunger for wisdom and knowledge and in every language, the message always appeared to be the same. If we are going to find our true selves, we have to look inwards, to find the heart of the matter, by cultivating the heart. We are each meant to achieve greatness and move mountains, but if we don't feed all of the being, not just mentally and physically but also emotionally and spiritually. We need to find a natural process to find who we are  meant to be. please sit back and enjoy Dr. Glenn's perspective about the harm we cause when we ignore our heart, our true essence   @glennbergerphd #glennberger   #healinganypasttraumamemory #traumarecoveryanonymous #howtolivestressandanxietyfree24hoursaday
