Overcoming Burnout: How Letting AI Think for You Costs Your Credibility

Are you noticing burnout symptoms and relying on AI to produce content because you are too exhausted to write it yourself? Overcoming burnout requires honesty about where we are cutting corners. If your authentic voice has been replaced by generic captions, it is time for a new approach to stress management. In this episode, I get honest about the AI generated book ads I created during a season of extreme fatigue and what they taught me about the difference between using AI as a helpful tool and depending on it entirely. I prioritized speed and aimed to feel productive without having to do any actual thinking. When I reviewed the final product, it did not look or sound like me, and it failed to convey my actual message. I ended up deleting those ads. This is the story of what happens when exhaustion dictates your decisions. I am walking you through a simple, practical framework to help you audit your own content, start setting boundaries, and protect your credibility. If you are outsourcing your writing to a machine because you are simply too tired to do the work, this episode is for you. Stressed Out and Building Alone? Why We Ghost Each Other and How to Show Up Instead

Did you send a message to a woman who preaches sisterhood online and she never replied? Are you building something new alone wondering why the sisterhood everyone talks about online never seems to include you? When is the last time you showed up for another woman in business without being asked or expecting anything back? In this episode I am getting honest about the loneliness of building alone and what I learned about community when I got humble enough to ask for help. I left a system that overlooked me and the first woman I reached out to who looked like me and talked about sisterhood locked the door from the inside. She viewed my profile, posted a coaching promo, and never replied. I spent months hinting at what I needed, liking posts hoping someone would notice, mentioning what I was building hoping someone would offer to help. I was too proud to ask directly. Then a mentor sat down with me over lunch after my layoff and that conversation helped me more than months of silent struggling. When I finally started asking directly and I got more yes answers. This is the story of the One Seat at the Table mentally we learned in corporate, the moment I stopped trying to be independent and started building real community. I have something to say to both the woman who was ghosted and the woman doing the ghosting. If you are building alone and bitter about it, this episode is for you and for her. Burnout Recovery: 3 Ways Your Stress is Costing Your Relationships

Are you noticing burnout symptoms in yourself and realizing your family is absorbing your workplace stress? If you are providing support for everyone else but struggling to find relief, it is time to prioritize stress management techniques. When you feel too drained to find a supportive community, burnout recovery begins with changing your environment. In this episode, I share how my severe burnout affected the people around me and how attending a new event ended four months of feeling unable to move forward. I led a team and failed to realize my stress was transferring to them. The group shifted from confident to anxious, and I initially blamed them before recognizing I was the source. Following a surgery, my cousin told me to recover quickly because she could not handle seeing me unwell. I realized my exhaustion impacted every person close to me. Later, I attended a writers conference, and being surrounded by people actively pursuing their goals changed my mindset in a single weekend. I also provide bible encouragement by analyzing a specific detail in Mark chapter 4. We look at the other boats in the storm that received peace simply because of their physical proximity to the boat carrying Jesus. If your stress negatively affects the people you love and you need to change your surroundings, this episode is for you. Part 3: Resources and Links Mentioned Scriptures referenced: Mark 4:35-41: Jesus calms the storm and the other boats receive peace through proximity Mark 4:36: There were also other boats with Him Free Resource: Download the Peace of Mind Runway Calculator at www.boundariesoverburnout.com. Bible Encouragement: Trusting God's Timing When You Feel Burned Out

Have you ever felt God show you something so clearly that you got excited and then months went by with nothing happening? Are you starting to wonder if you made the whole thing up because you have been waiting so long with zero evidence that anything is growing? Do you keep forcing doors and overthinking every detail because sitting still feels like falling behind? In this episode I am sharing what God taught me through growing my first raised bed garden and why every step of planting. The soil I needed, cracking, soaking, burying, darkness, false growth, and waiting. This is exactly what He is doing in your life right now. I went out and bought a raised bed to grow healthy food for my daughter and me.  God used every part of that process to show me what He was doing in my calling. The hole at the bottom that drains excess water. The soil that has to be right before anything gets planted. The seeds that have to be soaked or cracked open before they can grow. The depth of the planting depending on the size of the harvest. The darkness underground where all the real work happens. The false growth that comes up first and looks real but is not  (just like the darnel in Matthew 13 that the enemy plants to look like wheat before the real harvest comes). I almost gave up staring at dirt thinking nothing was happening while God was building a root system I could not see. This episode will change how you see your waiting season. If God gave you a dream and you are starting to lose faith because nothing seems to be happening, this episode is for you. Scriptures referenced: Isaiah 43:19 — See, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up. Do you not perceive it? Mark 4:26-29 — The seed growing secretly; the soil produces grain by itself Matthew 13:24-30 — The Wheat and the Tares; the enemy plants darnel that looks like wheat Galatians 6:9 — Do not grow weary in doing good; in due season you will reap if you do not give up Habakkuk 2:3 — The vision awaits its appointed time. It will not be late. Wait for it. Burnout Recovery: What God Taught Me When I Lost the Paycheck I Was Afraid to Lose

Have you ever used a sick day just to sit in absolute silence because you had no other excuse to stop? Are you so afraid of losing your income that you keep tolerating a job that is stealing your health and your peace? Do you know something has to change but you cannot figure out how to move when the bills depend on you staying right where you are?   In this episode I am sharing the full story of how burnout almost took me out and what God did when I finally stopped trying to fix it myself. I once scheduled an elective surgery partly so I would have a medical excuse to rest. I sat in a chair with the heat on, a book in my lap, everything set up for peace, and my mind still would not stop. So I opened my journal and wrote the most desperate prayer of my life. Three days later God answered it in a way I did not see coming. This is the story of the breaking point, the prayer, the Zoom call where my manager expected tears and got peace, and the choice I had to make when I hit the fork in the road — chase another paycheck or trust the God who just showed up exactly how I asked. If something is stealing your peace and you are still tolerating it, this episode is for you. Scriptures referenced: Psalm 23:1 — The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want Exodus 14:14 — The Lord will fight for you; be still John 15:5 — I am the vine; you are the branches Philippians 1:6 — He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion Genesis 2:2 — God rested on the seventh day Free Resource: Download the Peace of Mind Runway Calculator at www.boundariesoverburnout.com — if the paycheck fear is what is keeping you stuck right now, this tool will show you exactly how many months you could survive without it. Overwhelmed? How to Set Boundaries That Protect Your Calling

Are you saying yes to everything and  exhausted from it? Do you serve at church, host every gathering, and show up for everyone and then wonder why you feel empty after doing all the right things? Have you ever stayed somewhere God told you to leave because you were afraid of what people would think if you walked away? In this episode I am sharing how I spent years confusing performing for God with obeying Him. I will also share the two moments that finally broke the cycle. One involved my daughter going missing at church. The other involved blood on my hand and an entitled text message at a family cookout. This is the episode for the woman who gives everything to everyone and has nothing left. I walk through 4 practical steps to help you figure out what is actually yours to carry, how to stop doing the most for people who never asked you to, and what to do when someone tests a boundary you just set. Because they will.
