You’re More Psychic Than You Think (Mediumship Explained)

In this week’s episode of Heavenly Bodies, I sit down with Kiko Soirée and we get into something I think a lot of people are curious about but don’t always have language for — the psychic layer of everyday life. We’re not talking about crystal balls and neon auras. We’re talking about the subtle moments when your mind quiets and something smarter than your thinking brain starts to come online. That feeling when insight drops in out of nowhere. When you’re writing and the words feel like they’re writing you. When you suddenly know something without knowing how you know it. Kiko and I explore the idea that channeling isn’t rare — it’s natural. The real question is: where are you already open? Because most of us are channeling all the time… we’re just usually tuned into noise instead of signal. We also get into media — how it can fragment your psyche when you’re consuming unconsciously, but how it can become a powerful medium when you engage with intention. Books. Music. Art. Deep conversation. Even silence. Different doorways, same current. And we talk about wonder — that almost childlike state where time drops away and you’re just present. That’s not immaturity. That’s nervous system regulation. That’s access. That’s when perception widens and intuition gets loud. This one is really about learning to recognize your own psychic architecture. What makes you feel coherent instead of scattered? What makes time disappear? What feels alive in your body? Because once you notice that current — you can follow it. And that’s where things get interesting. Email me at ask@heavenlybodiespodcast.com. I want your charts. I want your hot takes. I want your psychic projections. Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius: The Dark Feminine Refuses to Look Back

In this episode of Heavenly Bodies, I’m diving into one of my favorite archetypes in astrology: Lilith — the original dark feminine, the exile, the truth‑teller who refused to bow. I start with the myth. Lilith as Adam’s first wife. The woman who refused hierarchy. The one who walked out of Eden rather than submit. Exiled, demonized, blamed for everything taboo — from sexuality to miscarriages — she became the ultimate symbol of the punished, silenced, inconvenient truth. But Lilith isn’t just empowerment. She’s not cute. She’s not polished. She’s the complicated, messy reclamation of the shadow inside all of us. I talk about how Black Moon Lilith works in astrology, how she changes expression through the zodiac signs and birth chart houses, and what it really means to “integrate” Lilith instead of projecting her. We reflect on Lilith in Scorpio — themes of violation, power, obsession, sexuality, and my own Lilith return reckoning with people‑pleasing and desire. And then we move forward. On December 21, 2025, Lilith enters Sagittarius, where she’ll stay until September 15, 2026. This is fire. This is motion. This is freedom. This is refusing to look back. Sagittarius Lilith asks: What are you afraid to do?Who would it upset if you did it anyway?Where in your birth chart does Sagittarius live? What truth are you ready to speak out loud? This transit is about adventure, risk, and forward momentum. Less brooding. More burning. If you’ve been feeling the urge to leave, launch, say the thing, book the trip, publish the work, or stop apologizing — this episode is for you. Let’s talk shadow power. Let’s talk exile. Let’s talk about what happens when you stop looking back. Write to me at Ask@Heavenlybodiespodcast.com  To book a reading with, go to DavidOdyssey.com and Davidodyssey.substack.com

Gemini Season 2026: Don’t Kill the Messenger

Gemini Season launches on May 20, bringing the spring to an official close and launching us into an explosive summer. But what is this most-misunderstood sign really about, and how should you best ride its currents? I open the episode with a pull of the Two of Swords, explaining its themes of ambivalence and meditation. That’s what Gemini is: a tuning fork, a channel, a vessel in between extremes. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the messenger of the Gods, and those born under a Gemini sun are often blamed for just saying what’s on everyone’s mind. Apparently, it’s a matter of selecting your frequency, lest you tap into darker channels (think Geminis like the current president, Kanye West and Azealia Banks) or portals of light (Andre 3000, Stevie Nicks and Robyn).  Now that we know what Gemini is (kind of), I talk about this month’s big events, including a new moon in Gemini, full moon in Sagittarius, Venus in Cancer and Mars in Taurus and beyond. I lay out your personal homework during this geopolitical maelstrom: employing the planets in Taurus, Gemini and Cancer to focus you on your dignity, gifts and potential, as means of facing the apocalyptic war machine. And, of course, I talk about Thelma & Louise and my experience taking acid at an Alanis Morrissette concert, because nobody asked for it!   Write to me at Ask@Heavenlybodiespodcast.com  To book a reading with, go to DavidOdyssey.com and Davidodyssey.substack.com

Pluto in Aquarius: AI and the Future of Human Originality

What can the planets tell us about our awakening age of artificial intelligence? Quite a bit, as it happens. In 2023, Pluto, the planet of the underworld, death and fate, entered Aquarius, the sign of technology and new ideas. Only two years into a two-decade Aquarius residency, Pluto has unleashed the dark god of AI, and revealed the cynicism and one-size-fits-all dehumanization at the heart of big tech. Must it end here? What are our choices, beyond strapping into patent leather and doing high kicks, like Carrie-Anne Moss in The Matrix? To make sense of the future, I pull an opening card: Judgment, which gives us insight into fate, calling, and awakening. What is our individual assignment in this harrowing new chapter? I talk about Pluto’s previous editions, namely in Scorpio (think: the AIDS Crisis in the 1980s and early 1990s) and in Capricorn (flash to the 2008 financial crisis and its aftermath). Devastating periods, which did, at great cost, inspire new modes of activism and consciousness. If the heroes of the ACT UP generation can teach us anything, it’s how to face an impossible enemy.  As for the present? I talk about the final season of The Comeback, and invoke Lisa Kudrow’s Valerie Cherish as a messiah of optimism and originality in an age of pre-arranged playlists and human isolation. We dig into Pluto’s possibilities for reinvention, and for Aquarius’ high aspects of idealism, inventiveness and originality. It ain’t over ‘til it’s over.  Write to me at Ask@Heavenlybodiespodcast.com  To book a reading with, go to DavidOdyssey.com and Davidodyssey.substack.com
