Explain that just as the flowers bring beauty to the page, Jesus Christ can bring healing, peace, and hope into our hardest moments. Talk about how His healing sometimes takes time, but we can always turn to Him. Ask your children: "What's one way Jesus Christ helps you feel loved?" 🌷 A Reminder for Every Mama You are not forgotten. You are not beyond His reach. And you are not a finished product.     Episode 41: He Hath Borne Our Griefs & Carried Our Sorrows | Isaiah 50–57 + General Conference This week on Come, Follow Me Moms, we’re studying Isaiah and talking about some of my favorite messages from General Conference! Isaiah teaches us something every overwhelmed, exhausted, worried mama needs to hear: You were never meant to carry everything alone. Isaiah prophesied of Jesus Christ as “a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief.” He didn't just come to save us from our sins—He came to bear our griefs and carry our sorrows. He understands the worry, loneliness, exhaustion, heartbreak, mom guilt, and seasons when life looks completely different than we thought it would. Pasted markdown Sometimes we pray for God to take the hard thing away, but instead He says, “I'm going to walk through it with you.” In this episode we talk about: Isaiah 51: Remembering what God has already done when we're struggling to trust what He's doing now. Isaiah 53: Jesus Christ understands our grief, sorrow, pain, and exhaustion. Sometimes the miracle isn't that He removes the hard thing—it's that He carries us while it's still hard. Isaiah 54: Our circumstances constantly change, but His kindness doesn't. Isaiah 55: God's beautiful invitation is simply, COME. Come tired. Come overwhelmed. Come imperfect. Come when your testimony is strong and come when you're struggling. Just come. Pasted markdown One message kept coming back to me: Waiting does not mean forgotten. The gospel doesn't promise us that the rain won't fall. It teaches us where to stand when it does.     40. Come, Follow Me September 28- October 4, 2026 | Isaiah 40- 49 Come Follow Me Scripture Study | LDS Scripture Study | Bible Study

    Fear Not: You Have Not Been Forgotten | Isaiah 40–49 + General Conference Prep This week on Come, Follow Me Moms, we’re studying Isaiah 40–49 and preparing our hearts and our homes for General Conference. And moms, if there is one message I hope you take away from these chapters, it’s this: God knows you. God has not forgotten you. God will strengthen you. God will lead you. And when what you’re carrying feels too heavy—He will carry you. Isaiah begins with the word comfort, and these chapters are filled with reminders for anyone who feels tired, overwhelmed, afraid, lost, or unsure of what comes next. We talk about: Isaiah 40:28–31 — God gives strength to the weary. Isaiah 41:10 — Instead of asking, “How am I going to get through this?” we can ask, “WHO is going to help me through this?” Isaiah 42:16 — God can see a path that we cannot see. Isaiah 44:22 — We don't have to get everything together before coming back to Christ. He simply says, “Return unto me.” Isaiah 46:3–4 — “I will carry, and will deliver you.” We spend so much of motherhood carrying everyone else. What would happen if we let God carry us? Pasted markdown Isaiah 49:14–16 — When we wonder whether God has forgotten us, He reminds us that we are graven upon the palms of His hands. Pasted markdown We’ll also talk about Elder Jeffrey R. Holland’s message “An High Priest of Good Things to Come” and Elder Matthew S. Holland’s “Forsake Not Your Own Mercy,” and what their messages teach us about continuing to trust Christ when answers and deliverance don’t come the way—or as quickly—as we hoped. And then… let’s talk General Conference. 🤍 Moms, General Conference does not have to become another thing for us to carry. We have done the conference boards. We’ve done crafts and activities for every talk. We’ve done all the things. And while those can be wonderful, we eventually realized that sometimes we were so busy creating the perfect conference experience that it was making conference more stressful. So we simplified. Our conference weekend now looks like: Legos. Candy. Notebooks. Cinnamon rolls. No extra screens. That’s it. The kids choose a Lego set within a budget, we grab treats, everyone gets a notebook, we make cinnamon rolls, put away the extra screens, and listen together. Not perfectly. Not always quietly. But together. Because simple doesn't mean less spiritual. And Mom deserves the opportunity to hear the messages of conference too. Pasted markdown A simple way to prepare for conference Instead of worrying about creating the perfect weekend, try three things: Before conference: Write down a question or prayer. During conference: Record the impressions that come. After conference: Choose one thing you feel prompted to act on. For younger children, let them draw their questions or impressions. For older kids, encourage them to write something they're praying about and then listen throughout the weekend. Ask Heavenly Father: “What do You want me to know?” Then make room to listen. Pasted markdown This week's invitation Before General Conference, write one question or prayer in your notebook. Then release the pressure to manufacture the perfect spiritual experience. Make the cinnamon rolls. Let the kids build the Legos. Get out the candy. Open your notebook. Put the screens away. And listen. Because somewhere between a conference talk, a prayer, a hymn, a child asking for another Kit Kat, and Lego pieces scattered across your living room floor… the Lord may have something He wants to tell you.     Come, Follow Me Moms | September 21–27 Isaiah 13–14; 22; 24–30; 35 “A Marvellous Work and a Wonder” What if the things that feel broken in your life aren’t actually finished? This week in Isaiah, we see warnings about pride, worldliness, and turning away from God—but we also see an incredible message of hope, healing, and restoration through Jesus Christ. Isaiah describes broken walls, barren ground, heavy burdens, wandering people, and things that seem beyond repair. But that isn’t where the story ends. He also describes the wilderness blooming, the blind seeing, the deaf hearing, sorrow disappearing, and God’s people being restored. In this episode, we’re talking about what all of that means for us as moms. We’ll dive into: 🩷 Babylon vs. Christ — What are we really building our lives and homes upon? 🩷 The burdens moms carry — and Christ’s invitation to come to Him when we are tired, heavy, and overwhelmed. 🩷 Waiting on the Lord — especially when prayers haven’t been answered or someone we love is wandering. 🩷 Jesus Christ as our sure foundation — because the goal isn’t a storm-free family; it’s a Christ-founded family. 🩷 Isaiah’s prophecy of “a marvellous work and a wonder” and how the Restoration is still happening in our homes today. 🩷 Learning to hear, “This is the way, walk ye in it” when motherhood doesn’t come with a handbook. 🩷 The God who restores — relationships, hearts, testimonies, families, and things we thought were too broken to repair. One of my favorite truths from this week's study comes from Isaiah 30:18: “And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you.” We spend so much time talking about waiting on God, but sometimes God is waiting too. Waiting for us to turn to Him. Waiting for us to listen. Waiting for us to come home. And as mothers, sometimes loving our children means teaching, inviting, praying, testifying—and then trusting God while we wait. This Week’s Invitation Find one thing in your life that needs restoration. Not ten things. Just one. A relationship. A habit. Your prayers. Your scripture study. Something with one of your children. Your relationship with Christ. Or maybe something inside of you. Ask: “Jesus, what would restoration look like here?” Then listen for His direction: “This is the way, walk ye in it.” — Isaiah 30:21 And take one step. Because this week Isaiah reminds us: Jesus Christ is the foundation. Jesus Christ carries our burdens. Jesus Christ wipes our tears. Jesus Christ makes the wilderness bloom. Jesus Christ restores what is broken. ❤️ Broken is not the same thing as finished. Jesus Christ is still doing His marvelous work.     38. Come, Follow Me September 14- 20, 2026 | Isaiah 1-12 | Come Follow Me Scripture Study | LDS Scripture Study | Bible Study for Moms

    Come, Follow Me September 14–20 | Isaiah 1–12 | “God Is My Salvation” This week on Come, Follow Me Moms, we’re diving into Isaiah 1–12 — and if you’ve ever opened Isaiah, read three verses, and thought, “I have absolutely no idea what this man is talking about,” this episode is for you. 😂 Instead of trying to understand every symbol and prophecy, we’re approaching Isaiah with one simple question: What am I learning about Jesus Christ? And moms… He is ALL OVER these chapters. We’ll talk about how Jesus Christ cleans us, teaches us, calls us, qualifies us, counsels us, gives us peace, gathers us, strengthens us, rescues us, and stays with us right in the middle of our lives. Scriptures discussed: Isaiah 1:16–18 — “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” Isaiah 2:2–5 — Going to the mountain of the Lord, learning His ways, and walking in His paths. Isaiah 6:8 — “Here am I; send me.” What does send me look like in motherhood? Isaiah 9:6 — Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 11–12 — Discovering the character of Christ and learning to trust instead of fear. Isaiah 12:2 — “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid.” We also talk about the idols and comparison traps we face today, worrying more about the world’s approval than God’s, feeling like we don’t belong, and learning to turn to Jesus Christ as our Counsellor and Prince of Peace when motherhood feels chaotic. One of my favorite questions from studying this week was: “What experience have you had where God has entered into your story?” Because we can know all the Primary answers about Jesus — but do we know Him? Have we experienced His comfort? His direction? His peace? His rescue? We’ll also discuss teachings from President Dallin H. Oaks, President Boyd K. Packer, President Gordon B. Hinckley, President Harold B. Lee, and a thought from C. S. Lewis. This week’s invitation Don’t worry about understanding every single word of Isaiah. Open your scriptures and pray: “Heavenly Father, what do You want me to learn about Jesus Christ?” Then look for Him. Look for His character. Look for His promises. Look for what He does for His children. Because Isaiah teaches us that He is in the midst of thee. He is there in the laundry, the carpools, the hard conversations, the sleepless nights, the worries, the mistakes, and the ordinary moments of motherhood. And when the Lord asks, “Whom shall I send?” maybe our answer can be: “Here am I; send me.” 🤍 You are never behind. Just start where you are, open your scriptures, and come closer to Christ this week.

    Episode 37: He Shall Direct Thy Paths Come, Follow Me September 7–13, 2026 | Proverbs & Ecclesiastes What does a wise woman build her life on? Not perfection. Not appearances. Not money. Not what everyone else is doing. Not fear. Not even her own understanding. She builds her life on Jesus Christ. ❤️ Mamas, I LOVED studying Proverbs this week! Honestly, Proverbs kind of sounds like a mom sometimes. 😂 “Make good choices.” “Watch your words.” “Work hard.” “Be kind.” “Listen to wisdom.” “Don't be prideful.” “Trust God.” And basically… DON'T BE FOOLISH. 😂 But underneath all of that practical wisdom is a much deeper message: God is teaching us how to build a life. And as mothers, we aren't only building our own lives—we are helping our children build theirs. In this week's episode, we're talking about what it means to become a wise woman, trust God when we can't see the entire path, use words that bring peace into our homes, let Christ pour into us, and raise children whose foundation is Jesus Christ. In this episode: 🏠 The Wise Man & the Foolish Man — Matthew 7:24–27 That Primary song we've sung a thousand times has such a powerful message for motherhood. The storm comes to BOTH houses. Following Christ doesn't mean storms won't come—it means we have a foundation that can withstand them. ❤️ Let Christ Pour Into You — Proverbs 1:23 Moms know what it means to pour ourselves out. We give our time, energy, sleep, prayers, service, tears, and love. But Christ also wants to pour His Spirit, wisdom, grace, peace, and strength into us. 🛤️ Trust in the Lord — Proverbs 3:5–6 Where are you putting your trust? The world? Social media? Money? Your own plans? Or Jesus Christ? We don't have to see the entire road for God to direct our path. Sometimes He gives us just the next step. 🙏 Hushing Our Fears We talk about Elder David A. Bednar's message Therefore They Hushed Their Fears and the difference between worldly fear and “the fear of the Lord.” Faith doesn't mean pretending something isn't scary. Faith is remembering that the scary thing isn't bigger than God. 💰 Wisdom Is Better Than Gold — Proverbs 16:16 Ecclesiastes reminds us how temporary so many of the things we chase really are. The perfect house, body, accomplishments, money, recognition—even the perfectly behaved children. 😂 Don't confuse maintaining your life with the purpose of your life. 🍯 Words Matter — Proverbs 15:1 & 16:24 “A soft answer turneth away wrath.” This one hits differently when you're a mom. 😂 We talk about Elder Ronald A. Rasband's Words Matter and three phrases that can transform our homes: Thank you. I'm sorry. I love you. 🕊️ Be a Peacemaker Drawing from Elder Neil L. Andersen's Following Jesus: Being a Peacemaker, we talk about responding with kindness, being slow to anger, and remembering that we don't have to attend every argument we're invited to. 👩‍👧‍👦 The Virtuous Woman — Proverbs 31:10–31 The virtuous woman isn't Pinterest Mom. She's not Instagram Mom. She's not the mom whose house is always clean and whose children never fight. 😂 Proverbs describes a woman of strength, honor, wisdom, kindness, hard work, love, and devotion to God. Virtue isn't perfection. Virtue is spiritual strength. What are we really teaching our children? Our job isn't simply to raise children who know all the Primary answers. We're trying to raise children who know where to go when Mom isn't standing beside them. They need their own relationship with Christ. Their own prayers. Their own experiences with revelation. Their own testimony. Because eventually the rain comes. We can't build their house forever. But we can teach them where the Rock is. ❤️ This week's invitation Ask yourself: What am I building on? Choose one area where you can become a little wiser this week. Trust God instead of fear. Speak more softly. Say “I'm sorry.” Let go of something temporary. Let Christ pour into you. Teach your child something about Jesus. Praise God for something good. The goal isn't to become the Proverbs 31 woman overnight. It's to become a little more like Jesus today. “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:6 Mama, keep building your motherhood, your home, your family, and your identity on Jesus Christ. The rain may still come—but your foundation will already be there. ❤️

    Come, Follow Me Moms | August 31–September 6 Psalms 102–103; 110; 116–119; 127–128; 135–139; 146–150 “Let Every Thing That Hath Breath Praise the Lord” This week we’re wrapping up Psalms with one beautiful reminder: Praise doesn’t require a perfect life. Praise is recognizing God in the life you’re already living. Psalm 116 begins, “I love the Lord, because…” and this week I want us to finish that sentence for ourselves. Why do YOU love the Lord? Maybe because He meets you where you are. Maybe because He has carried you through something you thought you couldn’t survive. Maybe because He loves you on your best days AND your hardest ones. Maybe because He has answered prayers, strengthened you, forgiven you, or simply stayed beside you. This week we’re talking about noticing His goodness—even in the messy, exhausting, beautiful middle of motherhood. In this episode: ❤️ Don’t forget what God has already done — Psalm 103 We pray for the babies…and then we’re exhausted when they don’t sleep. 😂 We pray for our homes…and then complain about cleaning them. Psalm 103 reminds us to “forget not all his benefits.” And I LOVE the reminder that God “remembereth that we are dust.” He knows we’re human. He knows we’re tired. He knows we need patience. And just as He patiently teaches us again and again, maybe we can extend a little more of that mercy to our children—and ourselves. 🎒 Jesus Christ Is Relief We’ll talk about President Camille N. Johnson’s message Jesus Christ Is Relief and her powerful backpack analogy. We all carry rocks—burdens from our own choices, the choices of others, and simply living in a fallen world. Motherhood comes with plenty of rocks: worry, finances, marriage, meals, laundry, children, work, school, fear and mom guilt. Christ may not immediately remove every rock, but Jesus Christ is relief. ☀️ “This is the day which the Lord hath made” — Psalm 118:24 Not someday when things calm down. Not when the baby sleeps. Not when the house is clean. Not when the hard season ends. THIS is the day. Praise God in the life you are living right now. 🕯️ You don’t need the whole map — Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” God often doesn’t illuminate the next twenty years. He gives us enough light for the next faithful step. Love them today. Teach them today. Pray today. Apologize today. Show up today. Tomorrow, He’ll give you more light. 🌱 Can God use our afflictions? — Psalm 119 Trials aren’t necessarily good—but God can use them for good. Discipleship isn’t simply about being good. It’s about becoming. Our struggles can reveal what matters, expose weaknesses, deepen our dependence on Christ, and help us become more like Him. 🏠 “Except the Lord build the house…” — Psalm 127 Moms, we are building so much more than a house. We’re building faith. Character. Relationships. Traditions. Testimonies. Memories. Disciples. And we were never supposed to build it without Jesus. 👶 “Children are an heritage of the Lord” — Psalm 127:3 What would change about the way we mother if we truly remembered: These children were His before they were ours. Our teenagers belong to Him just as much as our snuggly newborns do. ❤️ How would we speak, correct, listen and love differently if we tried to see our children as the Savior sees them? ❤️ “His mercy endureth forever” — Psalm 136 This phrase is repeated over and over again. After mistakes—His mercy endures. After wandering—His mercy endures. After bad parenting moments—His mercy endures. When a child walks away—His mercy endures. We’ll connect this with Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf’s The Prodigal and the Road That Leads Home and the beautiful truth that there is always a road home to Jesus Christ. ✨ God knows YOU — Psalm 139 “O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.” He knows your name. He knows the child you’re worried about. He knows the prayer you haven’t told anyone about. He knows what motherhood costs you. And I share a very personal experience from my twins’ C-section and the incredible peace I felt when I asked Heavenly Father for angels and help. Sometimes relief isn’t escaping the hard thing. Sometimes relief is realizing Christ is already there with you. 🎶 Where Can I Turn for Peace? When other sources cease to make us whole, where do we turn? Jesus Christ. And finally: “Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.” — Psalm 150:6 The Psalms contain fear, grief, sin, affliction, unanswered questions, wandering, mercy, healing and joy. And after ALL of it, the book ends with: PRAISE THE LORD. Not when everything works out. Not when your children behave. Not when every prayer is answered the way you wanted. If you have breath, praise Him. This week’s invitation: Finish this sentence: “I love the Lord because __________.” Then ask your children the same question around the dinner table, in the car, or during family Come, Follow Me. Because praise isn’t pretending everything is okay. Praise is remembering who God is while you’re walking through something that isn’t. He knows you. He knows your children. His word will light your next step. He will help you build your home. Jesus Christ will give you relief. And His mercy endureth forever. ❤️

Come, Follow Me August 24–30 | Psalms 49–51; 61–66; 69–72; 77–78; 85–86 | “When My Heart Is Overwhelmed” Well mamas… I HAD THE BABIES! 🩷💙 This week's episode is a day late because what started as contractions on Sunday afternoon turned into a trip to the hospital—and we came home with TWO babies in our arms! And honestly, I couldn't think of a more fitting scripture for this season: “When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” — Psalm 61:2 Motherhood can be overwhelming. We worry about our babies, our teenagers, our marriages, finances, health, our mistakes, and whether we're doing enough. But maybe faith isn't about becoming so strong that we're never overwhelmed. Maybe it's about becoming so familiar with Christ that when we are overwhelmed, we know exactly where to go.
